Another favorite spot - great for ma la xiang guo (basically a choose your own adventure spicy stir fry pot). Runs a bit salty but always tasty.

One of my favorite spots for Sichuan food. I come here several times a month when I’m craving mala dry pot. Their super dry pot is my favorite and the portions are big enough for two. Their boiled fish is also really tasty. Perfect numbing spice flavor. Service is fast and friendly. Another plus - this place is open late until 1AM!

Marvelous staff. Very considerate. VERY very good food. Only took pictures of house fried rice, but got popcorn chicken, hot and sour soup, chive dumplings, cucumber salad, and tomato and egg soup

My regular spot! The food is delicious and the spice is authentic. The owner provides excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend!

Honestly, all of the food we ordered was delicious. - The cucumber was crunchy and flavorful. - Spicy wonton was bursting of flavor - The onion pancake was super crispy

The dry pot was amazing, big portions where you can choose 4 veggie and 3 meats. The best part was also the chili wontons, had a deep peanut flavour that worked well to cut the spice. Plenty of tables inside and good for big groups, can’t wait to try their non spicy dry pot next time!

Didn’t have time to take any photos because we were too busy eating. Loved this place. First time ever trying szechuan food. Got the cucumber salad, dumplings in chili oil, salt and pepper fish and the Szechuan beef. I say dumplings in chili oil, but really we kinda put the chili on everything. Except the beef which already had it. We devoured it. We kept adding more and more chili. Food was amazing and served quickly. The numbing spicy sensation was new and exciting. It was a mellow spice meaning it’d give you burn but it wouldn’t sear your tongue off, meaning you could go for more. And the pro about the low heat meant the flavor of the food was able to really shine without the heat completely overpowering it like with other spicy foods. Anthony Bourdain lists Szechuan food as one of the main ingredients for his hangover cure and after going here I can see why. It really wakes you up. But you don’t have to be hungover to have a reason to go here. It’s open til 1 and we are DEFINITELY going again. Overall total came out to $30 per person. Well worth it in my opinion.

Google
Great service! Waiter gave helpful recommendations for chicken, beef, and vegetarian dishes. The food was delicious, very good chili fried chicken, green beans, and scallion pancakes. Very good veggie fried rolls.

Google
Blown away by the dinner here, we ordered a dry pot, chili chicken, and snow pea shoots. Order came out super quickly and everything was very tasty. Would definitely come back with a larger group & 10/10 recommended! Update: Cane back another time and ordered a different dry pot, green beans & eggplant, and chili wonton. Amazing flavors!

Yelp
Everything that we ordered at Mr. Szechuan was delicious. Definitely a good spot for small group outings. And in the off-chance that you're hungry for a late lunch or early dinner when most restaurants open (or re-open) at 5pm, Mr. Szechuan opens at 4pm on weekdays! price: ~$30/person recs: dry pot, green onion pancake, brown sugar boba - Dry Pot: Huge, cooked to perfection, and perfectly mala. Highly recommend getting the lamb, which was super tender! - Tan Tan Noodles: Generous portion, would have liked a little bit more ground meat, but otherwise really solid - Salt and Pepper Chicken Cartilage: Haven't seen this at other restaurants! Super crispy and piping hot. The breading that Mr. Szechuan uses is noticeable sweet and starchy. - Green Onion Pancake: This is the first time that I've had a green onion pancake that tasted almost deep-fried, but it was super good and not oily! - Brown Sugar Boba: Pearls were bouncy and the drink was not too sweet. Cuts the spiciness of the szechuan food really well. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
What a disappointment!!! Food- we ordered house noodles -OMG..it was swimming with oil - disgusting . Literally , half a cup of oil we drained out. The salt and pepper fish was hard as a rock, sesame chicken was so so . House fried rice was average . Also, after I indicated on order and called them personally that we are severely allergic to nuts, they put nuts on the side !!! WTF!!! No concept of food allergies and how it affects ppl. Service- when we arrived, food was not even ready and waited for 10minutes even after it was confirmed online that our food was ready . I love supporting neighborhood business . I've been in the area for over 25yrs. But, this just not way to gain local support. I don't get how they got all this rave reviews. I came here bc of the reviews but what a mistake ! Hope they correct and improve their food and service .

Yelp
Been waiting at least a few years to try the DAN DAN Noodles, delay due to Muni construction, Mr Szechuan being closed on a regular/irregular basis if you know what I mean, and just plain out of the noodles. And parking has always been very problematic in this area if not impossible. I'm disabled and it's always a hassle to find parking, walk to the restaurant and see that they are closed during their regurlar hoars. ORDERED Dan Dan noodles "Super hot & Super spicy" to go. Never got what I ordered. Noodles came in a two tier bowl with noodles and a few measly pieces of bok choy on the bottom and tastless ground pork on the top tier, pathetic. The Noodles were soggy and covered in a clear spicy oil which I have never seen before and have not been able to identify. Somewhat spicy but not what I expected. Inside the portion cup was more ground pork, skin on roasted peanuts and a smaller portion cup with red chili/chili oil, the kind you see on every Chinese Restaurant table in THE CITY. Totally TASTELESS. I mean, how many years was this stuff sitting around on a table before I came along? All the oil had ponded in the bottom of my bowl, disgusting! I soaked much of it out with several pieces of Kleenex. I ate another mouthful then tossed what remained. Why so much oil? BOTTOM LINE: None of the components pulled this dish together. I'm convinced Mr Szechuan does not know what they are doing, so I'm DONE with them. I've been eating at Z & Y for several years. I think Z & Y does a far better job and their menu is way more diverse and interesting. I'm staying with Z & Y, a much better choice. FYI their menu is newly revised so CHECK IT OUT! I mean if Z & Y is good enough for BARAK it's good enough for me. And by the way, I am sensitive to MSG in that it gives me dry mouth. The Dan Dan noodles I ate gave me a good case of dry mouth for several hoars and then some. I've tried other items on the menu, same reaction. Why do you use so much MSG, there is no good sensible reason for it, and it's not good for your health (sodium among the worst). Thao P. of Turtle Tower fame said they only used very small amounts of MSG just enough to "bring the flavors together" and no more. TT's use of MSG never caused me any dry mouth except when they hired new cooks who didn't know better. I was always a good MSG gage for Thao P. When I said there's too much MSG she took care of it right away. For that reason alone I ate there for at least 15 years or so before they closed. Been looking for a TT replacement ever since, I'm convinced there is none. The restaurants I've tried use way too much MSG and the food is usually boring and tasteless. Try Pho 2000 if you don't believe me. Bac Lieu does a pretty good job in their MSG usage and the food is tasty but nothing like TT. Sad to see TT go, pray they return soon.

Yelp
My new favorite dry pot place!! I've been searching forever for a good mala dry pot place and randomly stumbled upon here and it was great. The flavors and spice level were good and portion size for the price was also reasonable, plus it comes with rice or a noodle as well. My only suggestion or wish is that they had the option to add more veggies, they limit you to 2 meat, 4 veggies but we would have easily wanted to add a lot of veggies to share a bigger dry pot for 2. Reason the photo is of a takeout box is because we accidentally ordered it as takeout even though we were dining in, and the staff were really nice and apologetic and even gave us a free side of scallion pancakes!

Yelp
This was for **delivery only**_ The spice level was spot on and the Mapo Tofu was savory though light on pork. The other two entrees, the Steamed Chicken in Chili Sauce ($13.95) and Szechuan Beef ($18.95) were very salty and the beef tasted like it was sliced from end pieces; it could've been more tender. Everything was packaged with care and Saran wrapped around the containers so sauce wouldn't spill. It was good, could be better.

Yelp
I think I ordered the wrong thing at this place cause it's not what they're known for but I was craving something hot juicy and bite sized so I got soup dumpling and sheng jian bao. There was not a single drop of soup in either of the dumplings unfortunately. Im guessing all of the xiao long bao dumpling skin had gotten punctured somehow and all the soup had drained out (assuming there was soup to begin with). A very dry meal indeed and they didn't have ginger for the dipping sauce either. I did eat it all ... but suddenly trader joe's frozen soup dumplings seem so gourmet

Yelp
We came here for a late night bite after coming out of the System of a Down concert. We got the dry pot with Szechuan spicy base. For $27, you get the choice of 2 proteins and 4 vegetables. This was a decent amount of food for 2 people and a fair price for SF. In terms of spice level, I'd say this is a 6-7 on a scale of 10. I used to eat a decent amount of Mala dry pots back in NYC. I think the quality here is comparable and brings me back to those Flushing food court days. We beat the post-concert rush by mere few minutes. Tons of concert goers dropped in after we ordered. I applaud the worker for keeping his composure and running a one-man show holding down the fort. In addition to tending to a restaurant full of guests, a stream of takeout orders kept coming in through their computer (reminiscent of The Bear S1E7). That was 11:30pm. I hope the man made it through the night.

Yelp
Fantastic. Dry pot - delicious - even vegetarian. Eggplant? I don't even like eggplant and it's fantastic. The watermelon beverage? Super refreshing. Can't say enough good things about this place. Great great food. Did I mention the fried chicken is incredible? Go here, you won't regret it.

Yelp
It has been forever since I have had great and memorable Chinese food. Well folks, Mr Szechuan is it. The ordering experience is not your traditional experience (maybe it is normal in SF). This place is pretty hands off but hands on when needed (paying, water refills, food delivery). You scan the QR code and instead of ordering with anyone, you order from the QR code. I liked when I hit confirm, I could hear my food order being printed in the kitchen and then, poof, the food is delivered to your table minutes later. All the food was fantastic (see images of what we ordered) and I can't recommend this place enough. Service, when needed, was excellent. Go check for yourself, I have a feeling you will fall in food love.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night as we wanted Chinese food after Stern Grove. We were seated immediately and there is a QR code to order. The servers were nice in explaining the promotion and gave us a free scallion pancake for leaving a Google review. We ended up ordering the Mala Dry Pot and the flavor was very good and robust. The dry pot itself came with rice as well and was enough to serve 2 people. The spice level definitely had a kick because of the mala peppers but isn't too spicy for anyone who enjoys spice!
google avatar

Yelp
Online ordering system here. Service is line counter style. Inside is simple but nice. We got the mapo tofu 3.5 (sauce too thick) And the Spicy chicken 3.5 (too salty cant eat on its own) Will be back for the other dishes

Yelp
Totally would keep this spot a secret because of how delicious and affordable it is, but let me share! While parking is tough and Mr Szechuan is out deep in the sunset district, their Dry Pot dish will make it all worth. ~$27 for a whole dry pot that feeds 2?! I was shook! You pick 2 meats and 4 veggies for the dry pot. We went with the szechuan spicy and the boyf was SWEATING. It's so good!! This is literally my new go to dry pot spot and would even prefer it over hotpot. (Unless I'm sick/hungover) Hours are open super late so I bet this place would be delicious for your late night shenanigan meals. Service was so slow when I went, even when they weren't busy at all. I wasn't greeted upon arrival, in fact I walked in, stood at door waiting to be seated but no one acknowledged me. I literally sat myself at whatever table. On the brighter side, at least there are plenty of seats inside. Food makes it worth!

Yelp
If you take a look at my UberEats history, you will probably see Mr. Szechuan overly represented because of how often I order from here! This place is my go-to lazy dinner order. Their dry pot is consistently good and is large enough to split between two. It's extremely customizable so you can put together a meal that fits what you're craving each time. They also have a larger "super" size which comes with an additional protein but we usually stick with the regular size as it's already a lot of food.

Yelp
Disappointing!! We were browsing Yelp for recommendations on Christmas when we came across this place. Food looked good so we decided to place an order. I called in at 5:40pm to order to-go for pick up at 7pm. We had a semi-big order so I asked the lady on the phone to confirmed what she had written down to make sure our order was accurate. She confirmed that it was and said that they were very busy so she would call me back in 20 mins. After I agreed to the callback, before I could ask if she needed my name or number, she hung up on me. I waited around 30 mins with no phone call before I called them back to check on the order. They didn't pick up. I called multiple times to no avail. Hoping for the better, we decided to go to the restaurant in case our order was ready for pick up all while calling them some more. When we got there, there were only 4 tables that were seated. We asked the server about our food and he mentioned that it would need some more time, around 15 mins. Another guy then came out and asked us to pay out at register first while we wait. We complied and walked over to the register only for him to tell us that he didn't see our order. He proceed to make excuses about the system not working and giving us attitude. In the end, we waited over 1.5hrs just to receive no food but much attitude from the guy who tried to get us to pay for nothing.

Yelp
Stumbled upon on this place when we got hungry on the way back to the city from SFO. I wouldn't say it's close to soma or SFO but it's worth that detour. The flavors are really on point and their red chillies give every dish a really smoky hot flavor. We got a bunch of dishes for two people and had left over for another meal. Their dry hotpot mixed with green beans was very flavorful and goes well with rice so that dish by itself is good enough for two people. We still got the fried chicken and cucumber salad and liked them both. I'd def go here if I was in the sunset district. The service is extremely fast and I was easily able to find free street parking.

Yelp
I've been a huge hot pot fan since I can remember but this is my first time trying dry hot pot! My boyfriend and I opted for the Super Dry Hot Pot which allows you to select 3 meat options + 4 vegetables. Everything in the pot was delicious! We recommend selecting wide bean noodles as an option for the dry pot so that it soaks up the dry pot flavor. The Szechuan flavor was perfectly spiced. The sliced lamb and angus beef were tasty. We also added popcorn chicken for a nice crunch to the dish. The Chili Beef Stew Noodle Soup was flavorful. The beef was soft and melts in your mouth. There's pepper corn in the soup, but it wasn't too overpowering. My only small complaint would be that the soup was a tad bit oily but it's probably from the beef slices. We also tried their scallion pancake. It's thicker than most places because they use two layers with egg. Our server was super attentive, friendly, and quick. Restaurant was very cozy and clean. Seems like they had lots of delivery orders during dinner time because dashers were coming in and out every other minute. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes! FYI -- there's free iced green tea if you check-in on Yelp
google avatar

Marcus-Alex G.

Yelp
Mr Szechuan is a great go to spot for weekly dinners, price is pretty affordable especially given the portions. Their dry pots are a must, I think in general, it kind of doesn't matter what options you pick, everything is smothered in sauce so the flavor is roughly the same, but I tend to choose different texture of items since I felt that had a bigger impact on the dish overall. I've eaten here maybe 8-10 times, and only once had a dish come out 'off' and I barely mentioned it to the staff, and they quickly replaced the dish with a new one. Extremely considerate and responsive. The food is really palatable, and nothing is too spicy or overwhelmingly numbing (Mala).

Yelp
Online ordering system. We sat down late night and it was pretty decent. Got the xiao long bao, the pan fried buns, the stir fried pea shoots in garlic, and the mapo tofu. Mapo tofu was a bit lacking in depth of flavor - just felt a bit oily. But overall satisfying. Pan fried baos were my fave, but definitely not the best I've had.
google avatar

Yelp
Dry pot is on point! Plus the delicious spicy beef noodle soup, garlicky pea shoots and dumplings.
google avatar

Christine V.

Yelp
highly recommend the super dry pot--absolutely delicious and so many fun ingredients to pick at; it's seasoned well & a flavor bomb. pea sprouts w/ garlic are also a 10/10. service can be slow--when i was there, it was just one guy handling all the tables and to-go orders/doordash orders, and maybe one person back in the kitchen. practice patience and you will be rewarded with deliciousness.

Yelp
This is a great place to go with a large group and order several dishes to share family style. All the food came out pretty fast, and everything we ordered was delicious, especially the chili fried chicken and fish fillets in hot chili oil. They have a pretty efficient system at this restaurant. Like many places, you scan a QR code to view the menu and order. However, instead of paying online, they still bring you a physical check and have you pay in person. I was impressed by this place and recommend it to anyone wanting good, authentic Sichuan food.
google avatar

Gary M.

Yelp
They wouldn't see me as one person in spite of the restaurant being two-thirds empty. I will never come back here again.

Yelp
So I finally made it back to Bay area for the day. Originally we planned to get Happy Family Gourmet down the street but they were closed . Try to go to Dumpling Specialist but denied as it was too crowded. So we found this spot instead. When we came the restaurant was not too busy so we sat right away. You scan the QR code and place your order on your phone. My friend ordered everything so I have no clue the names But there was a lamb dish that had tooth pick skewers. It was pretty good, it looked like it may be too spicy but it was actually fine . We got a dry pot with pork and beef, pretty solid flavor as well. I enjoy the noodle that's included. It did came with a smol rice but we ordered another rice bowl. The eggplant was the star of the show though, really good flavors. Food came out extremely fast like she pressed the order button and I didn't even know what she ordered yet and the food came out. That's pretty crazy We didn't get much service but it was fine. Sometimes you just want to eat and not talk to the server
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite Szechuan restaurants in SF. My favorite dish here is the Super Dry Pot. You choose 3 meats and 4 veggies/ noodles. They stir fry it for you in a spicy Szechuan spices and sauces. It comes with this minced pork rice which is great. I've tried many other dishes which are also great. The boiled fish with sichuan pickles is a nice heartwarming soup. The twice cooked pork here is also a favorite of mine. String beans and eggplant is also good but a small portion IMO. The service is ok. You order yourself through at QR code now at the table. The workers aren't super friendly but they will get you what you want/need.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a group of 8 people our first time trying it out. The food was ok, portions are average, taste was ok. There are many good restaurants out there, so won't be going back. Nothing to talk about.
google avatar

Lei F.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat since it was late and stumbled upon this spot. It operates from 4pm to 1am daily, love the hours! Service was quick probably because they have an ordering system on the app so it's easy to view and order. We loved the fried rice, that was the winner of the night. We did try the pop corn chicken, szechuan beef, and chicken noodle stir fry. The pop corn chicken is a miss. Everything else was good.
google avatar

SF T.

Yelp
Meh. I ordered takeout and they pretended that they didn't see me standing there to pick up the order. Yeah that'll work. I politely told him I was there for a pick up and I even tipped a couple bucks because I knew I wouldn't be returning. The food was standard not bad and nothing special. The restaurant was 1/3 full. This is San Francisco. I have options & won't return. if you lack the common courtesy to greet all customers, then you don't want all customers.
google avatar

Sagar P.

Yelp
Service and everything else was great, but if I could rate the food, I would give it a zero out of five. Ordered Szechuan chicken and it seemed like I was getting bar food. Looks like some little popcorn, chicken pieces that were fresh out the freezer. Nothing close to Szechuan chicken We also ordered fried rice, which was the only thing we ate. The wontons were pretty bad as well. Too many anistars in that mix. Bento box was a nightmare. We didn't touch any more of the meat as it all was smelling old. Broke two pieces of the chicken in front of the server and it was all breading! Lol felt bad so paid for the whole meal. He was talking about comping us for the dishes left untouched but we didn't have time to wait and we're hungry so paid and left. Worst quality of Chinese Szechuan I ever had. Maybe my standards are high and this is where all the drunk people come eat.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Mr. Szechuan is hands down one of the best spots for Szechuan food in San Francisco. The owner is incredibly kind, funny, and makes you feel right at home the second you walk in. He's got this amazing energy that makes the whole experience even better. The dry pot is packed with flavor--spicy, savory, and just the right amount of numbing heat. And the eggplant? Easily one of the best I've had--soft, flavorful, and covered in the perfect garlicky sauce. If you love good food and good vibes, this place is a must-visit!
google avatar

Yash T.

Yelp
TLDR: Good food, wonderful ambience service can be better A great place for some amazing spicy schezwan cuisine! Loved every dish we ordered. Only issue was that one of our vegan friends mistakenly ate pork dumplings and this was after we confirmed with our server that the particular one was a veggie dumpling. Overall good experience but do be careful if you have dietary preferences. Loved the fresh watermelon juice!
google avatar

Lynette T.

Yelp
Overpriced for what you're getting which is falsely advertised. Ordered the braised chicken WINGS and only got two flats. When ordering on their app/platform, the photo shows two full wings. :( Also the scallion pancakes only has 4 small pieces while the photo on their menu has a much larger serving (8 pieces). Overall the food is OK but the principle of false advertising is just unacceptable, especially when you're paying a higher than average price and getting less than what you'd expect.
google avatar

Divya K.

Yelp
I was craving Chinese due to the gloomy weather outside and Mr. Szechuan bento box was just what I was needed. If you love Panda Express you will love this because this is the real stuff. Not the most gourmet I've had, or gourmet at all but definitely several levels above the usual. The bento box came full to the brim and lasted me two meals. I got the eggplant garlic (must try), honey walnut shrimp (wish they gave more than 3 pieces :( ), general Tso's (crispy fried flavorful chicken) and kung pao chicken (a classic). The noodles were great. Everything came packaged so neatly and even included condiments. My only nit pick was that that for the fried items like the honey walnut shrimp and general tso's chicken, some of it tasted batter-y as if it wasn't well fried.

Yelp
Didn't get any pictures but I picked up on a saturday night. Service was quick and prompt. I ordered pot stickers and minced pork over rice. It was very generous in portions and the flavors were great. I'd like to come back and try the dry pot next time.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and have also ordered on DoorDash and each time I've been satisfied! I usually get their dry hot pot, and spicy pigs ears, but this time I went with friends and got the beef noodle soup. Dry hot pot - Szechuan Spicy: perfect spicy, and so flavorful! Beef noodle soup: the noodles have the perfect chew and the soup is amazing. Pigs ear: refreshing and a great palette primer. The service is quick and personable, and the restaurant itself is spacious and open. Will continue to come back!

Yelp
Honestly one of the best Chinese food places I've been to. Food and service was excellent with quick speed and quality food; every bite had incredible texture and superb taste. Open late too, so huge plus. Overall, 5/5.

Yelp
Back with a big family meal (9 people). We were able to get in right away, with the usual tasty food and friendly service. Great spot in the neighborhood for some tasty favorites!

Yelp
Amazing restaurant that is also conveniently open late! Everything we ate was great! Would recommend

Xue H.

Yelp
ok depending on what you get the bento was more than 50% rice, would def not reorder. the mapo tofu in it was ok, and the cabbage (but there was little pork in the pork cabbage). the twice cooked pork was not what I expected and I didn't really enjoy it, felt like fast food (too sweet and sauced). Same with the lamb with peppers. the fuqi feipian (beef organs dish was a cold one in chili oil etc) was really great although I'm not sure this oil is too healthy (is it soybean? canola?) hmm i'd try again but maybe go with the dry pot as people suggest

Yelp
I don't write reviews often, but Mr. Szechuan is truly a hidden gem. I always drive by this place and decided to give it a try after finding it on a hidden gems list. I come fairly often now with my fiancé and our usual order is mapo tofu, spicy beef stew with noodles, and their eggplant with garlic. They're known for their dry pot which we finally tried tonight. We got Szechuan spicy sauce, angus beef, sliced pork, enoki mushrooms, napa, soft tofu, and wide rice noodles. It was very flavorful and has the spicy numbing flavor that Szechuan dishes are known for. Plus the amount they serve you could easily feed 2-3 people or have tasty leftovers for the next day. Currently they have a pared down menu as they are revamping it, but the server was kind enough to have the kitchen make us the mapo tofu we love. We also had the scallion pancake which was very crispy all throughout dinner. No sogginess here! All in all I highly recommend Mr. Szechuan for their delicious food and amazing service.

Yelp
I had the dinner with my 8 friends. The Sichuan spicy dishes at this Chinese restaurant are absolutely delicious! The servers are incredibly kind and welcoming - they even spoke a little Burmese with us, which made the dining experience feel extra warm and friendly. Highly recommend for authentic flavors and great service!

Yelp
Omg !!! WORDS CANNOT EXPLAIN HOW AMAZING THIS PLACE IS !!! Came here for the first time to celebrate our friends birthday! We got some spicy chicken, dry pot, little pot, intestines, tan tan noodles and green onion pancakes ! ALL SO FLAVORFUL!!!! The service was outstanding! Alvin the owner is very welcoming ! The place is super clean, they even have milk tea ! I highly recommend their black tea ! Super good !! I will definitely come back here again! This place has a lot of spicy dishes ! For all the spice lovers, I definitely recommend coming here !!!!!

Yelp
I LOVE SZECHUAN FOOD!!! and this place definitely hits the spot. the numbing spice on everything is amazing and beautifully flavorful. got me sweating a lil bit the spicy dry pot was SO good. we got beef and pork with enoki mushrooms, wide rice noodles, napa, and tofu. everything was coated with spicy goodness and everyone should order this and customize it to your taste! the fried rice was also so delicious. i hate when fried rice has no flavor and this was the opposite!! i loved it the chili fried chicken is also so yummy with so much crisp and so many chili's. if you like to sweat, eat those chilissss! 5/5. coming back for the second time in the same week lol. he recognized me yay!

Yelp
We were at the waiting area and the host/server had made several eye contact but did not say hi or anything just kept us standing by door for long. We ordered 3 dishes the first dish took them so long and then we have to wait another 45min for the second and third dishes. No one serve us water or ask if we need anything at all. They even just drop the dish of dumplings without giving any sauces. The food was average. But the whole place it's Very unorganized and no management at all.

Yelp
Went here with my girlfriend a bit after 10pm on a Thursday. Once we arrived, we got sat down immediately because there weren't a lot of people which was nice. As soon as we were sat down, the server brought us some warm tea which was perfect due to the fact it was very cold and misty outside. The order processing was very easy. We ordered all of our food through our phones but we were also still given a physical menu. For our main entree, we ordered the dry soup, you can pick 2 meats, and 4 different veggies. It's enough for two which was nice. Overall, the taste of it was yummy plus the portioning. If it's your first time, I would definitely recommend the dry soup option. We also ordered a hot and sour soup as an addition to the main entree, however, the flavor wasn't to my liking. It reminded me of tortilla chicken soup (but of course other people have their own opinions, it just wasn't for me). For an appetizer, we bought soup dumplings, they were pretty standard and yummy. Service was quick and friendly. 10/10 would come back if I am in SF again. Bathroom was relatively clean as well and so was the interior. Also, the roasted peanuts they served with the tea were salty and delicious.

Yelp
I have ordered food from this place for last 3 years during covid, but for the first time I came to dine in. The food tastes even better. Definitely get their fresh juices along with the spicy food - it hits the spot. We ordered iron pot with pork and cabbage, crab meat fried rice, and chive dumplings. All three were amazing. They also give crunchy peanuts that go excellent with the fried rice.

Yelp
I ordered the dry spicy pot togo since I saw it was one of the most popular dishes here. It was delicious & definitely enough for two people! I was craving Sichuan w/ some heat but w/o too much numbing spice from the Sichuan peppercorns. This was the perfect balance of spicy and numbing. I really like how customizable the veggies and protein options are. I got it with popcorn chicken, wide rice noodles, beef stew, cabbage, broccoli, and potatoes. It was very plentiful and flavorful. It is oily as other reviews have said, but I think this is expected with Sichuan cuisine & it wasn't overly done for this dish. I was also surprised by how good the pork rice that comes with it was & the free green tea was very refreshing.

Yelp
Super Bentos are advertised to come with 4 entrees. I could only find 3 entrees as it was all piled on top of each other. Each entree is 2 bites and half of the plate is a side of rice. Very disappointing as it is not as described, waste of money, go elsewhere.
