Don’t order at this place. I have ordered three tonkatsu and an extra sauce on the side through uber eats. I ended up getting three tonkatsu without any tonkatsu sauces and salad sauces on the side, and the workers hidden the burnt rice at the bottom. Also the carbonara sauce is like water. I have called in to the restaurant on this issue, and the server who answered the call did not understand the issue at all. I have mentioned all of these issues and the server on the call told me ‘So what can I do? Just call the uber customer service.’ without saying sorry or telling me that this won’t happen for other customers. This was a very disappointing experience as a customer.

It’s been over seven years since my last visit, but the quality of the food has maintained the high standards I experience during the last visit. The QR code menus were easy to use and our orders were quickly placed. Both meals arrived in short order and we were impressed with the juicy and tender pork wrapped in a crispy panko crust. I had the katsu with toowoomba sauce which had a creamy texture with a bit of a spicy kick. It was delicious and definitely worth a try.

Love coming to this place on my trips to Toronto, they’re open late which seems to always be what I need and the food is delicious! I’ve been on two occasions, the first time I got the chicken katsu with curry and the second time I got the chicken katsu with carbonara. Both were very wholesome and comforting meals. The only critique I would make is that the curry and carbonara both made the chicken panko a little soggy, so I would maybe recommend getting it on the side, not poured over on or under the chicken. Having that crisp chicken throughout the entire meal would make the difference! The side of cabbage slaw, rice, pickled daikon, and miso soup are the perfect sides as well! 100% recommend and I always look forward to going back!

We each ordered Original Chicken Katsu Happy Hour and had unlimited refillable sides (rice, cabbage and miso soup). Portions here are large so I didn't have room to refill any sides. The chicken Katsu is super tasty and crispy and they even grinded some white sesame seeds into the Katsu sauce which was nice. Service here is a bit on the slower side with one person managing all the tables, handling deliveries and taking care of payment. If you come during happy hour on weekdays then your order will be cheaper.

Absolutely incredible katsu in an unassuming minimalist space. Both of our katsu dishes were steaming hot when served, with a delicious perfectly crisp crust. Curry sauce had nice flavour, Japanese style, not spicy. Takoyaki was fresh and covered with katsuobushi. Simple, casual dining room but comfortable. Great place to relax and chat with friends over dinner. Good for smaller groups. Friendly service, priced well. Excellent Japanese find on Yonge St.

Cute little spot to grab some katsu. I thought it was a little pricey and the food was just decent. I was just expecting it to be better; I got the katsudon and a beer. The service was great though and I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Overall really enjoyed my tonkatsu here. I ordered the karage wings and the tenderloin tonkatsu with demiglas sauce. Both were good. 2 things to note: 1) the menu has no photos. Made it a bit harder to pick what I want. 2) maybe consider ordering the sauce on the side cause time is definitely ticking once that sauce is on on the meat. The breading gets soaked pretty quick.

I love the ambience! The staff was very friendly and respectful☺️. It took 15 mins or less to get our meals. And it was really tasty🤤. I enjoyed every bit of it. I'm also pleasantly surprised at how full I got half way through my meal. If you're looking for a place to get authentic Japanese food, that is worth every dollar and freaking good. This is the place for you❗️Don't just take my word for it, give it a try :) (Sidenote: I'm from Sask, this is my first time in Toronto.. so the experience I had here was pretty cool! Shoutout the 2 gentlemen and lady who assisted us when we dined here. You guys are awesome ! 😊)
