Mr. Tonkatsu - Wellesley

Went there on Monday evening with friends, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, I had the full tonkatsu meal, and the portion was perfect. We also enjoyed a refreshing pitcher of beer, which paired wonderfully with the meal. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Our waitress was an absolute highlight; she was so sweet, friendly, and always had a warm smile that made our time there even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for great food and wonderful service! :)

I was missing the North York location so I decided to come visit this one and the taste is good, same as I remember. Went during happy hour and had a great meal with refills included on sides! Hope to go back again sometime soon!

It's my second time eating at Mr. Tonkatsu. Brought my family here last Friday and they loved the food. Thank you for the very nice service.

A small yet quiet and homey lunch/dinner spot. I have been looking for a tonkatsu spot where it’s affordable and good. Mr.Tonkatsu hits the right spot. Though I wish their happy hours also included weekends, I still can’t complain over the service and food quality. Would for sure keep coming back!

Nice and cozy spot. Service was very friendly. Food was large portions so good value. Ordered the curry pork katsu and carbonara pork katsu.

maybe i just came here on an off day or the quality is worse when you order the lunch special but i was deeply unsatisfied with my meal. the katsu was very thin, bland, unseasoned and flavourless. thankfully they gave me a lot of sauce as i had to douse the meat in it to make it palatable. the last time i experienced this alarming lack of flavour, i genuinely questioned whether or not i had contracted covid and lost my taste and this experience once again made me question that. the most flavourful thing in my lunch was probably the miso soup. service was friendly enough and relatively quick however i would probably not eat here again.

Great food and speedy service!! Had the pork cheese katsu toowoomba - creamy and a good amount of spice! The only thing is the canned sodas are extremely overpriced - $3 a can! But regardless, food was great. Definitely will be back.

This place is a GEM . Came after a concert and found this gem open late at night. Ended up eating here 3 times during our 1 week stay!!!! The Tonkotsu was freshly cooked. The crispiness combined with the sauce is just right. If you like spicy, the TOOWOOMBA (if I remember it right) sauce is very refreshing and surprisingly good.
