Mr. T's Pizza & Ice Cream

We came into town for a wedding and on the night before our little family was looking for somewhere good to eat and didn’t feel like an overpriced tourist place. We found it! The pizza was so good! The kids got personal pizzas that were worth every penny for size and flavor. Next time we visit the area we will definitely be returning!!

My wife and I stopped by Mr. T’s Pizza & Ice Cream and absolutely loved it! The pizza was delicious—fresh dough, great sauce, and generous toppings. But the real game-changer was the hot honey; it’s a must-try and took the flavor to another level with that perfect sweet-spicy kick. Super friendly staff, fast service, and a cozy vibe. Highly recommend— we’ll definitely be back!

We have pizza and ice cream at this restaurant on new year's day. It was busy, but seating tables are available in store and outside. Pizza was really good and fresh. Ice cream was delicious. There was also sandwiches and cheese bread food options in menu. It is in from of the incline railway- lookout mountain, so view is also good.

Genuinely best pizza I’ve ever had it was hit crunchy and very delicious! The costumer service was very good too they are so sweet! Overall 10/10 cheesy bread was amazing 😍

Cici behind the counter had super customer service. She helped figure out which size to get of everything and even gave me a little sip of whip cream for my dog! The pizza was absolutely delicious. The ice cream, I wish I snapped a photo — butter pecan with waffle cone and in a separate bowl vanilla with mint choc chip— wow. It was great to see the guy making pizza washing his hands, too. Don’t skip this place!!

Do NOT believe all the many star reviews! I haven’t felt so insulted by a restaurant taking my money in my life. Completely ruined my night and my date’s night. Ordered a large pizza with wings when we arrived, to go. 45 minutes passed and several of the customers who ordered after us received their pizza while we haven’t. I finally went to the counter and inquired about the status of our order to discover our order had been prepared for some time and despite being provided an order-ready buzzer, we were never notified. The counter girl brought me the order, did not offer an apology or even look at me after handing it to me. Hungry and irritated, I arrived home with my order only to take a bite of the toughest, blandest, most inedible pizza of my life. We genuinely could not eat it, we ordered little caesars just to have something to eat after this inedible embarrassment. We also got wings and were provided with barely cooked wings and watery “buffalo sauce” to dip them in that was atrocious. Please save your money, McDonald’s is better than this sorry place!!!

Great service! The staff is very professional and kind. Pizza was also delicious. Enjoyed the crunch base and crust! Also got free stickers and free ice cream!!!

We were here on our anniversary weekend visiting ruby falls, rock city and incline railway and decided to stop in for lunch. We got a cheese/hawaiian pizza and cheese bread. They were both great! Service was fast and friendly! We would definitely recommend stopping in!

This place is across the street from the Lookout Mountain Incline We got off the incline and crossed the street to this gem of a pizzeria/ice cream shop. We both got cheese personal pan pizza's. Let me tell you, cooked perfectly, and we got them in about 10 minutes. If you're going to visit the incline, this is a great place for a pizza after!

Love the pizza! The atmosphere is very casual and staff is friendly. I enjoy sitting near the window and watching people and the incline.

I see where this place is number one. Cutting right to the chase, everything is absolutely delicious. Customer service is warm and welcoming. They have plenty of tables to seat your family, or tables if you want to indulge by yourself. This place is absolutely great!

The food is amazing with a great diversity, and the best place is clean and fast. The workers and service are so kind and understanding.

I do feel bad that I neglected to have ice cream during my visit. However, the pizza options were great. Each family member got a pizza of their liking, and the wait wasn't long. Friendly staff and is a great place to visit following the incline railway. Make sure they have cleaned off your table first. This place is where you order first then take a seat. Really delicious and a little greasy, You will enjoy it.

Mid March warm outside and Clumpies' had no offerings for those folks who can't have dairy - But look! Clumpies' has two flavors, Cookies and Cream and Cookie Dough plus a Lemon sorbet. Unfortunately, they were out of both flavors. I usually love lemon, but this evening, I was craving a vanilla like flavor, but still ordered the lemon. It was so tart and lacked creaminess (coconut milk would work) to balance it out, I couldn't finish it, a first for me

When we arrived at our hotel, this was the first car we saw delivering pizza. We chose to visit the location to check it out. It was a local, small family friendly restaurant located on a corner lot. The food was fresh. And had an authentic taste. Honestly it's the best pizza I've had in years. 4 pizzas took about 15-20 mins. If we'd have not eaten the food so fast... I would surely have shared a picture. I would surely recommend.

Great service. We got the Combo pizza and it was delicious. There was 2 of us and we were starving so a medium pizza was the perfect size for us.

I recommend Mr. T's pizza. Service is cheerful and fast. Pizza is satisfying. While I did not try the ice cream, it seemed popular. Parking lot is small.

This Chi-town snob thought he knew pizza, but then he visited Mr. T's! "Are you kidding me?" I was "old-schooled" by both the thick and thin pizzas. Do I mention their cheese bread? This menu would be illegal in Illinois-Yankee land, it's that good! "I pity the fool who doesn't eat at Mr. T's!"

They delivered to our hotel, which was helpful. But the veggie pizza was not good - the only discernible veggies we could find were black olives. Salad was OK. If you have a choice I recommend you go elsewhere.

Great thin crust pizza. Very well priced. My kids loved it, and they offered a military discount. Conveniently located across the street from the incline railroad.

Mr T's Pizzeria is a very neat looking local joint at the bottom of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. It is a very cool looking small restaurant with a couple of arcade games which really appealed to me. They have a relatively small menu with a few hoagies, salads, and pizza types. We decided to go with a basic Pepperoni Pizza. It was a good sized pizza so there was plenty for both of us with some left over. Very no frills but delicious pizza with a great crust and tasty red sauce. Add on the pepperonis and tons of cheese and it's a superb lunch. I should also mention that prices were extremely reasonable for pizza of such high quality. For dessert we got ice cream cones with strawberry ice cream for me. Again very basic strawberry flavour with no gimmicks but fantastic flavour. One of the coolest things was while we were eating we had this awesome view up the tracks of the Lookout Mountain train which was a cool visual. The service was satisfactory and I have absolutely no complaints about this place. Thumbs up.

Like a 6.5/10, a solid crushable pie that reminds me of pizza places back home. It's a thicker dough with not much crisp, made on a conveyor oven. It's decent and worth eating

When we got there it was a little crowded. The food was alittle greasy but the ice cream was great. I had the pepperoni pizza and it tasted good. I am not a person pizza but it was good. Inside there was a few mini arcade games and I am a sucker for bouncy balls. Over all the environment was good and it was a good experience. I suggest it for family's of 2-5.

When my wife and I are on a road trip we always get pizza one night. We chose Mr. T's for our first trip to Chattanooga, and we are happy that we did. This is the best road trip pizza we've ever had. Our Nashville and Hilton Head pizzas were garbage. Mr T's is the real deal. A tiny bit of spice to the sauce, very flavorful, and the crust was just right. This was top notch pizza, and very good value as well. 5 stars definitely earned!

A classic pizza joint. Tasty tomato sauce, crust is crispy on bottom but doughy and fluffy under the toppings. Great cheese. Lots of seating, bare bones decor. Crazy affordable pricing so you can feed the whole family. Only complaint was the radio set to country music. But, hey. Chattanooga. 5* = incredible (rare) 4* = very good/ strong desire to return 3* = generally good experience 2* = poor/ no desire to return 1* = a particularly awful experience

We had pizza, cheese bread, salad and wings. Wings were crispy & tasty. Cheese bread was fluffy and cheesy. Pizza was soooo good. Service was fast considering how busy they were. The staff kept the tables cleared and clean with fast turnaround. Prices were great. We,ll be back!

For a quick bite this spot was absolutely stunning. We came from Rock City in search of a bite and this pizza was the perfect treat and perfect price! You won't regret grabbing a slice!

Terrible service, the pizza was never ready, dirty the place, messy, there is no organisation, lack of control in the delivery of orders. They never gave me my pizza. Spend 30 minutes receiving an answer.

We tried to get into 1885 which is right across the street but the wait was almost 2 hours. Mr T's was very crowded but looked to be a great place to grab a pizza. It did not disappoint! We ordered a large pepperoni and ran to the grocery store behind it for a 6 pack of great local beer (Hutton & Smith Basecamp Blond). By the time we got back the pizza was ready to go. Took back to our little VRBO house we rented. Watched a movie, ate pizza and drank beer. Is there anything better? Pizza was fantastic!

Mr T's is a family favorite. Order Cheese bread appetizer and bring quarters for foosball. All flavors of pizza are delicious. The ice cream scoops are ginormous. Servers are always polite. Ride the Incline Railway and walk to Point Park for a beautiful view of the city.

I love coming to Mr. T's! It's such a down home restaurant! I ordered a large half cheese and half supreme-NO OLIVES! When it came out, it was just a large supreme 1/2 no olives &5 wings. When i let them know it was incorrect, they offered to just bring out a medium pizza. They were so quick to correct it! We didn't get ice cream this time but they have a large variety! Great service!

Good ol' pizza & ice cream parlor experience. The pizza wasn't the best I've ever had but it was very good. Hard to beat the prices and customer service as well. I would highly recommend this place. It does speak volumes when people wearing another restaurants' uniform, are eating at your place.

We ran in to get a quick bite to eat prior to the standard tourist stuff! LOL! The pizza was amazing! We were eating it in the car driving up the mountain to go do a tour at Ruby Falls! It was great and the service was great!!

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the pizza is very delicious. First time going, I decided to go there because of the rating and wasn't disappointed. I got basically what was a meat lovers, a supreme and there cheese bread, delicious and well cooked. Definitely recommend if you're in the area

This pizza was average at best. My family and I had just gotten to our hotel and we wanted something quick and easy for dinner that night. Honestly was a slight be better than a typical frozen pizza you get from the grocery store.

Excellent telephone order service! Friendly and totally accurate on a complicated order. I was really impressed. Pizza was hot, had plenty of ingredients and tasted OK. Not mouth-watering-I-can't-wait-to-have-it-again flavor, but good enough that I would order again, especially considering the service.

Never a fan of their food. I've had many pizzas in my life and this is low on the ladder. But please be aware, if you leave a negative review the owner will be unprofessional and contact you through unprofessional means. He will use order history, and other info to track you down you and talk AT YOU, not with you. He won't go through proper channels. It is clear he is not interested in having a conversation, or in receiving feedback to grow and do better. In these times I think it is important to share these reviews with others. I wouldn't support a quality restaurant that bullied people who left negative reviews, and I DEFINITELY won't support a mediocre one that doesn't understand boundaries. They're lucky they are in a touristy part of town, where most people must not read reviews first.

I ordered this through a delivery service, so I didn't eat in the restaurant. That being said, the pizza is really good. It arrived hot and in a fairly quick amount of time. The price point is more than reasonable. The pizza sauce was very tasty; slightly sweet and seasoned well. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and it had tons of cheese on it, and the toppings were a good amount too. I do wish the crust was cooked a bit more. I like a bit of crunch to my pizza crust. This one was super soft. Cooked have used about 5-10 minutes more in the oven. It was even great cold, as I had a slice for breakfast the next day. I did really enjoy it. Cold pizza and a big glass of milk is one of the best breakfasts!

We got a recommendation from Hampton Inn while staying here for a few days. This is the best pizza and cheesesticks we have ever had anywhere!

Do no order from them on a Friday if you want to get your pizza in a reasonable time. 55 mins for delivery seemed a bit ridiculous, but as it turns out, I would have much preferred that as opposed to the hour and 40 minutes it actually took. AND since they stop taking calls after 8:00, I couldn't get through to find out why our pizza still hadn't been delivered. We do pizza and movie night on Friday's, and this Friday was movie....then much later... pizza night. Seems like a phone call from them letting me know the pizza was going to be much later, and then maybe offering something for the inconvenience of holding off hangry kids, would have been good business. And to edit....the pizza arrives, and it's not even made correctly. The place doesn't close until 11, but they stop answering the phone after 8????

Winter for pizza and ice cream we had a wonderful time there people were very courteous and the service was prompt. Pizza was great and stayed for a banana split which was out of this world. What a wonderful place had a wonderful time.

We stopped in for lunch before heading up the incline railroad. The outside wasn't much to speak of, but the service was friendly and the pizza was really good! A tasty surprise!

Simply put, we really enjoyed the pizza here! No doubt our main draw was the name, but they actually delivered three very tasty pizzas; a cheesy one, a meaty one and a gluten free/veggie one! The flavor reminded me of my childhood growing up in Chicago where many restaurants had pizza slices on the ready. My mom used to shop at a five and dime store called Woolworth's where they had an in-store restaurant that served pizza by the slice. I was never a fan of going shopping, even as a kid, but I was the first into the car when she said she was going to Woolworth's! I remember the flavor still to this day. My wife does not rave about food. A meal is a meal to her, but she practically did a happy dance over her gluten free pizza. Located across from the base of the Incline Railway, it is in a super convenient location when doing all the touristy things on Lookout Mountain such as Ruby Falls and Rock City. Dare I say it, but 'I pity the fool' who doesn't like Mr. T's pizza! PS - The ice cream was great too! 2017/118
