First time here and absolutely loved. The service was amazing. Alyssa did a good job. The food was very tasty and good. We ordered appetizers and did not disappoint but everyone around ordering the Boils, had their hands full of finger licking fun.

Our 1st time visiting and the food was great! It was mid day and only two ppl on the floor so service was a bit slow but still very nice and attentive when they could. We shared a seafood boil between three of us and we couldn't even finish it. The drink we ordered wasn't chilled properly but still good, we asked for ice cups. Overall, decent experience. Very pricey, get ready to spend some 💰 🤑.

Our server Ted went above and beyond the entire time — super attentive, friendly, and really made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he truly cares about his guests. Ted’s recommendations were spot-on, and he checked on us often without ever feeling intrusive. It made the whole meal feel effortless and enjoyable. Definitely coming back, and definitely asking for Ted again. Highly recommend!

Greetings, My boss told me about this place, while talking about food. And how I enjoy sea food. I moved here to San Antonio, TX last August. I don't go out and grab food very often. But I got the catfish basket and some hush puppies. Both were good, but the puppies were just okay. Wouldn't get again. While my parents used to live in Myrtle Beach, SC those Hush Puppies were to die for. The fish and chips was delicious. 3 giant catfish strips. More than enough for me to eat. If it came with 2 pieces I would have been full just as well as eating 3 of them. The sauces weren't bad. I'm unsure what the orange cup was but it had a nice kick to it. The Cajun fries were really good as well. The hush puppies should have came with a cup of that butter to dip them in or something.. But nonetheless.... Price wasn't bad. $14 bucks for the fish n chips not too shabby. Probably the going rate around here. I did try Bubba's 33 last Friday and had their Fish N' Chips, and that was good as well. I'll be back I enjoy both places. I hope to try the cod next time. Thanks -Dave

Really fun atmosphere! Shrimp boil was really good! Great customer service. Chloe was our waitress and she was super bubbly and sweet! Me and my boyfriend would definitely come back again.

Best crawfish I've had honestly and I've had a LOTTTT of crawfish. Those suckers came right out of their shell perfectly cooked, huge, the sauce was fantastic too. Great delicious not overcooked clams and shrimp. Service was a bit slow I don't think they had enough waitstaff but tbh the food is good enough that I don't care. Too bad I live in Dallas and was only visiting :( please open a location in Dallas 🥺🥺🥺

Went on a Sunday on a Sunday evening for my birthday treat. Was surprised there were that many people dining. Cool vibe and the decorations were themed according to the Halloween season we're in. Server was friendly and helpful. We ordered the weekend boil. Good portions and very flavorful. The large Hurricane was a bit expensive but was definitely on point- if it didn't cost do much I would've ordered another. Will be back for the lunch menu soon.

Maybe tonight was a bad night but there were a lot of mistakes. 10/11/25 After ordering almost $200 worth of food we were missing our lobster tail in our seafood boil. It was brought out separately. I had to flag our waitress "L" because we also never received our rice or eggs we ordered. My half sweet half unsweet tea was SO sweet I needed a full unsweetened one to balance it out. Lastly, our waitress returned my receipt after processing my debit card and didn't return my card. I almost left without my debit card! I live in Austin and would have been furious. I couldn't find our waitress and was hoping she didn't accidentally give to another customer. I was frantically looking around the table, the floor, my wallet, and looking for the waitress. I also thought she dropped it on the floor on the way to our table. My girlfriend found her and my card was sitting on the bar counter. A gentleman next to us, who seemed to be a regular, was being charged extra for spicy seasoning when his medium boil was mild and not prepared properly. He pointed out he patrons this restaurant often and has never received under 20 shrimp in his boil and tonight he got less than 20 shrimp. The food was okay. Definitely not worth $200. I am not happy and will not be returning.

Recently I went around trying crawfish boils all around town. Mr. Crabby was on my list. I was by myself I got seated at the bar. The service was fast and it was fun watching the bartenders doing their mixes. They are definitely very friendly too. They were interacting with everyone sitting at the bar. The music is loud and more like a bar feel. So maybe it is hard to carry a conversation I did enjoy the crawfish and all the fixings that come with it

I love the snow crabs shrimp boils, That's my favorite..The food is so delicious can't wait to go back..Amazing service, very clean..

The place is very fun and vibrant from the giant sea creatures to the bright lights. Our server Fernando was really great answering our questions considering it was our first time. The boils was fresh and cooked well with the trifecta flavoring but it was very salty.

Hanging out with friends and we all got a craving for some seafood boil, we gave Mr crabbys a try and man were we impressed! The service was awesome and food was top notch! Pricing wasn't bad either!

The decorations in this place are overboard! In a great way! Definitely put a lot of heart into making the place festive. We were greeted and seated quickly- by our waitress. Her service was above and beyond the entire time. They have wonderful reasonable SPECIALS as well as lunch specials Mon-Friday. Fried seafood baskets but what we went for was the seafood boils. We got the WEEKEND SPECIAL. 37.95$ for 1 lobster tail, 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp , sausage , 2 potatoes and 1 corn. The price is about what we usually pay. We added eggs to it which were a little pricey 4$ for 2 eggs- but we can never get a boil without eggs. Each enjoyed endless sodas - for a total of 56$ They have a full bar with a great looking drink menu if you're into that. Desserts as well. It was steady so I'm guessing they do pretty well. Great music playing (jukebox on the wall that looks like customers can pay and play) and a few TVs that had the football games on. Overall it seems like a cool place to go and hang out with friends.

Amazing all around! First time here and will return! Sat at the bar top and had really great service from Ari and Zoey! They were both helpful with the menu and drinks since we hadn't been there! They even changed the channel for us so my husband could watch the football game he wanted. Get ANY flight and you won't be disappointed! However, ask about their seasonal flights, because the Thanksgiving drink flight was so good! Portions are VERY shareable unless you eat your weight in seafood! We got the Weekend special with an extra 1/2lb of head off shrimp and we were completely satisfied! Try the trifecta seasoning, it was sooooo flavorful!

We went here with a party of 9 on 5/9/25 for my son's birthday. The staff was amazing, Peter our server did a wonderful job. Very attentive, great attention to detail, and just a happy person. The food did not disappoint...from the crab cakes who my parents raved about, to the wonder boil bags. We all ate so much we didn't have room for dessert but we will definitely be back soon.

My first time eating here and I enjoyed my food and drinks. I had ramen and hush puppies for an appetizer. I got the ramen with mr crabby seasoning and medium heat. For my meal I had the fried shrimp basket. Very good and well seasoned. Our waiter Francisco was amazing! Very patient with us. Went over specials with us and even gave recommendations! He made this a great experience!

First time trying this spot. Def a drive and the food was ok and in my opinion not worth the drive. We had Jaylon whom was nice and talked about the menu but was a little scarce, not his fault he had 3 tables from what we saw. The boil came in an inflated bag for some reason., we also got the crab cakes which was drenched in so much butter and we did not lk that, it was soggy. Ask about the prices of the specials bc they are more than what I would have thought. Again the food was ok nothing spectacular and would t drive back to try it again. I think I'm going to stick to smashing crab.

We was looking for a crab spot as I have tried the others in the area and it just ain't been hitting. Came to mr crabby and was very pleased. Our server Moses was personable and cool as a fan. I wanted to try the gator bites cause what gator, and they was great and the sauce was a special touch. We got the weekend boil and it was so fresh, hot, and the sauce (all the sauces combined) was hitting! Forgot to mention my fire peach sweet tea. We even got ramen to add and put that ramen in the sauce and chef kiss. We will be back!

Went to the Live Oak location on 9/8/2025 at around 5:30pm, we were greeted by a friendly 2 young ladies, we had the preference to sit in a booth or table, we opted for a booth. Our server, a young lady name is Lauren (in training) with the restaurant manager Jean ( very attentive to our needs, for starters we ordered the Mr. Crabby's Hurricane drink, for appetizer gator nuggets ( they're a little pricey ($19.99), for our dinner, we went with the long horn boil platter ($145.00) and side order of ramen ($ 3.99), very yummy, the platters had a good amount of food (2 can eat) and the Mr. crabby boil ($111.00) (good for 1) I recommend the Long horn boil (market price) ask so you don't get slam with $145.00. The seafood is fresh and well seasoned. This place has the best decorations, very clean, including the restrooms. The only downside for me was the music, it was very loud (which I don't really care) but the kind of music was not easy on the ears and for the diverse customers. It was rap, I don't care for it and it wasn't PG rating. I've requested for the manager on shift is he could do something with the music, he indicated it's a jukebox and is the customer who opts to play the music but offered to lower the volume, thankfully I was able to download the app (touch tunes) and pay with my credit card through the app. (Music should be included and not paid by the customer). Overall the experience and service were great. You won't be disappointed Because of the music I rated the place with 4 stars. But the overall experience is Top notch. I definitely will be back. First time at Mr. Crabby's will probably be the only time. 1. Tea is instant, taste awful and burnt. 2. The Dungeness crab was over cooked- inside meat was mushy, and parts of it were an odd brown and orange color. Tastes dry, and no flavor 3. Had to ask for three drink refills. 4. Had to get up and go get my own lemon 5. Never got butter to dip the crab in 6. They brought some weird oily mix. And I asked for a side of butter (gladly would have paid for) and a side of seasoning. 7. Waitress told us the fried food wasn't good. 8. Cajun fries- has NO SEASONING WHAT SO EVER-

Food here was ok, but nothing spectacular. My shrimp po boy got really soggy and unappetizing. The inside is nice and it was very family friendly. They had sports and a kids movie playing. Service was great and attentive.

Visited with the hopes this would be the best boil establishment. Overall the wait was too long and the food was underwhelming. Shrimp were overcooked and the potato's were on the undercooked side. Not enough seasoning was provided with an excess amount of butter to try and hide it. Steam rice was also undercooked and the asparagus was undercooked. Paid 111 for 1.5lbs shrimp, 1lb of dungeons, 1/2lb scallops

First time here with my lovely wife for lunch. Our server was Zoe. Didn't know what to order with all the Seafood,Cajun options. We asked our server,to help suggest some favorites. We ended up ordering the PO Boy with Crayfish,Cajun Fries,Pot Stickers,Broccoli,with Garlic. The food,deelish!!! The atmosphere,Disneylandish. The service,welcoming,warm,friendly,helpful. Arnold Schwarzenegger said it best,"I'll be bach!"

It was both a hit and a miss at the same time. Came in on a Monday night with a strong craving for a crab boil bag. I placed a to go order at the front counter, got the weekend special. Spice level hot! Food came out in about 15 minutes. Got it home and went at it. The bag had NO spice to it, I asked for hot- which is supposed to be the second highest most spiciest option. And there was ZERO spice to it. The trifecta flavor- or sauce it had was really good though. That saved the bag. The seafood it self did not take to any of the flavor, I had to dip and soak the meat directly then eat it for it to have any taste. The crab was over cooked, but that's kinda how those places operate. The shrimp was perfect. The star of the show was the potatoes! Great sauce made that bag good, but paying all that money and have them forget to add the spice is disappointing . And for $42 plus tip, it didn't cut it.

Our first time here and it was great! Definitely going to be making this our go to place. Food was great! Our server Jess was super helpful and knowledgeable with what to try it being our first time there.

Definitely recommend this place for seafood. The specials are reasonably priced. The boudin balls are delicious. Cocktail drinks are right on point. The service was great even when it's busy. Place is pretty clean despite being crowded.

Our first time here at Mr. Crabby's and the food was yummy!!! I loved tje decor indoor and outdoor and our server Landan was really attentive. We had fried alligator and steamed oyster for appetizers. I had 1 lb of mussels and crawfish and it came with corn, sausages and potatoes. It was a lot and really fulfilling. The only downside for me was the drinks. Tje drink prices are a bit pricey. I had margarita flight and it was $22 which is a bit pricey for me and I didn't taste any tequila in it..it was mostly juice. So everything else was good but the drinks in my opinion

The wait was very long, about 45 min despite being fairly empty. Our waiter was decent. She was attentive but had to be told multiple times the things that we needed, but she was quick. The gator app was good. The boudin balls were decent. The shrimp and crawfish basket was flavorful. The food is seasoned well. overall, we liked our food. The floor underneath our corner booth table was filthy. I almost had a heart attack because there was a whole crawfish on the floor and I thought it was a (non sea) bug.

The waitress Rachael, was great. We've ordered the same combo basket in the past and there were always two pieces of cod and 5 pcs of shrimp We were given today 1 small piece of cod and the shrimp Meereen over cooked For $18 plus the up charge for the onion rings it was not worth it. Would have been better to go to Laguna Madre

The server was great. The food was delicious. We had a create your own boil. The price is just high for everything. Drinks were delicious

4 stars simply because the food was slightly salty, but it's ok because the flavor was great. Our server Anali? Was super sweet, very attentive and just a joy to have. I might have to try the frozen drinks, had the margarita flight, they were a bit sweet, but the mango one was really good and the prickly pear was good too! The seafood boil presentation is awesome! The amount of seafood we got for the price of lunch? Insane! It was all so good!! The ambiance is so cute! Lunch specials are wild because the value is so good!! Definitely will come back for more, I just hope it's less salty. That's all!

Service was horrible Brandon never checked on us . Rushed us to eat was in the middle of eating and he came and rushed us to pack up trying to pack our stuff while we was eating . Looked pissed the whole time . Dungeons crab was overcooked and very brittle to the tiny point pieces of the shell would end up in the meat . Otherwise egg and potato and corn was delicious

I am quite confused by the rave reviews on here mentioning how fantastic the seafood boils were, as nobody in my party of six felt the same. With so many flavor options, it is very apparent that rather than boil each individual order in a flavor, they boil everything in plain (or salted) water and then add flavor after the fact. This meant that the result was not only over cooked, but entirely lacking in flavor whatsoever. Any "seasoning" you might find are as other reviews note - a pool of slick oil at the bottom of the bowl. I was additionally disappointed that I ordered extra spicy (to which my waiter warned me against as allegedly someone nearly passed out from it a few days prior, and I assured I wanted it ruin my day spicy) much to my dismay...my boil was as spicy as whipped cream. All of this for a far higher price compared to a place like Willie's or Fish City Grill where the boils are juicy and flavorful. The decor was fun and definitely gives off a beach vibe like you might find in any beach town in Texas just off the shore. The only plus. But at that, they were out of miller lite and also don't serve seltzers (a request from a gluten free guest) yet have a neon Truly sign hanging directly above the bar. From the way the reviews are worded with a specific name each time, it seems people are being prompted (just as we were) to leave a good review at the end of the meal. I simply can't get behind the place as I have no intention of returning and would not recommend it to anyone who asks.

Food is good but little high on price to equal value. Location stinks because of the 35/1604 highway construction. Bartenders were quick and courteous.

Went into this family environment, thinking we were gonna have a great old time. Dropped $400 while listening to the P. Diddy list music Was grossed out Like do they not know or something. It's been a year and half now. That music spreads hate and division. Left filling angry instead of full.

Should have checked yelp 1st but went based on high google reviews. Butter sauce good but small portions and precooked potatos. Yucky. Ours tasted old.

Hurts to give this place a bad review. We been coming here since it opened once a month for family dinner. Always leave happy and content, not today. Service was off, our waitress was slow considering we were not many distrito in dinning area. Waited for refills and anything else we needed. Our boil we always order it the same it was delivered fast but the flavor was off, we asked for our waitress and was told she was in the restroom. Someone else picked up our boil and took it back to fix it by the time it we got it backed it was cold. When asked for a refill on fountain drinks we were told we had to pay for a separate new drink. It's a new rule, they also don't take America Express . We won't be back this place went down hill.

The ambiance was beautiful and the food amazing, but the service was a big letdown. We called ahead for a birthday party of 10 and were told the wait would be 45 minutes -- we waited over 2.5 hours. They moved us around multiple times, claimed we couldn't sit on certain furniture due to a brief drizzle, and eventually seated us at an unclean table. Management didn't step in to help, leaving overwhelmed servers to handle everything. After all that, they suggested splitting our group at separate tables. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Really disappointing for a special occasion.

Horrible food and horrible service. Got the catfish and shrimp. Both tasted horrible. Was waited on by a manager, who was spread too thin and gave horrible service.

Usually a wonderful experience and excellent Dungeness crab. However, this time there were so many construction detours and traffic that we couldn't even get to the restaurant. All access roads were blocked. I'm sure this business is negatively impacted by all the construction going on. Call ahead to ask about directions.

If you love greasy, fried Cajun inspired seafood... you will LOVE this place... If you want an actual vegetable in any semblance of its natural state, maybe not for you... Very fun atmosphere! Kinda like a seafood Roadhouse? The food is flavorful and fun. The Cajun fries are great! The drinks are fun and add to the fun atmosphere. The whole steam-bag bit is a riot! Don't worry, the server will help you, and there are plenty of wet-wipes for your hands... That's not to say you won't leave with fishy fingers, but the tables are stocked for you. I found the catfish too wet under the batter and the batter wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. The husband really like his PoBoy and our friend said her seafood steam was great! The steamed broccoli had good seasoning. Too loud for easy conversation, single person bathroom, and sticky floors.

It was my first time at Mr.Crabby's and it did not disappoint!! So delicious and the service was fantastic. As soon as we arrived we were seated and the food came out quickly warm and perfect. I ordered the Calamari, Cajun fries with the Wednesday special ( snow crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes). All was delicious and the restaurant had a wonderful vibe with great music. Would come again thank you a great meal!

Could not ask for better service from Matt. He was running around all over the place and helping multiple tables. His recommendation for the dirty rice was great. Great service from Matt!!!!!! We would return for his customer service.

Service was great, got seated quickly. Lamont was our server and was really attentive and grabbed us whatever we needed for our meal. The seafood boil bags are always great here, I definitely would stick with hot seasoning, the mild and the medium are really just plain and have no heat to them. The crab is hit or miss, it's either boiled too much and you can't take it out of the shell easily or it's fantastic and the shrimp is always good. It's a fun atmosphere, the food's good, will definitely be back.

Everything needs improvement, food is way overpriced and unflavored, the manager with the bad boob job whatever her name is seriously mistreats the employees and needs to be replaced. DONT EAT HERE.

We tried this place on a recommendation along with seeing it on Elder Eats. Needless to say, I will NOT be following Elder Eats recommendations anymore... I ordered the 2pc Cod which had no flavor. The Cajun fries lacked seasoning. Service was decent and ambience was cool for kids. Almost every table ordered a broil..maybe that's why people come here, I'm not a "broil" type. I would've rather had Laguna Madre.

Pretty good, good service, atmosphere, Strawberry lemonade was good. Flavor was good. The problem: The food was way way too greasy, it came to the table smoking hot but shiny, dripping with grease.

I went with the family during lent. We all had something different. It was all good. The crawfish was wonderful.

Our waiter was very helpful however we were seated at a very small table considering that we ordered items that were designed for a larger space. Before we began our meal the second course was delivered then a third item all before we began our appetizer. Food was good but please next time seat us at a table large than a postage stamp and space the delivery.

The food was pretty good, except the oysters. In fact the food was so good that I went two days in a row. The first day I ordered two pounds of snow crab legs in garlic butter. The next day I ordered the weekend special:1/2 pound crab legs, 1/2 pounds and a lobster tail. Both items were good though the crab legs were small. We also tried the gulf oysters and couldn't finish them. They had no taste to them whatsoever. As far as the service, it was bad. On both occasions we needed to go seek out our servers for assistance. My boyfriend literally went to the bar to get his own drink because the server was gone for so long. What Mr. Crabby's does well is the steamed food and drinks. Where they did poorly was service and oysters.

Priced way to high for the quality of food, ambiance or service. Guess it's more for the younger generation, if they can afford it .
