Damaged my real nail filing to low. My nail bed is now in pain and sensitive. I had to stop her and didn’t even get the new set I came in for because it hurt to bad and just had her stop. My nails have been in great condition before this I only get gel and usually I get it soaked off. They still charged me for take off with no discount and they didn’t even take off all of the gel. Second time here receiving poor service, I should’ve known better.

I like that upon walking in, you don't have to take a while to begin services. I went on a Thursday at 7 pm and it wasn't really busy so that was good. I had a polish change on my toes and a full set of acrylic nails. They were quick, but it didn't feel rushed. The area is clean, and the decor is nice. Even the bathroom is nice. What I didn't like is at both people I went to (toes and fingers), they continued to suggest I get services I did not want. I wanted something simple and I didn't like the pushy behavior there. The toes were not neatly done but the fingers were better. They asked me to add on more and then told me the new cost near the end of the service. That's not even the worst part. The person who did my nails continued to jab her fingers and nails into my nails to separate my skin from my nails to get a good angle to file. She did it so deeply it cut into my skin (photo attached). It's 3 days later and it still has a full pain. That emphasis on filing the edges of my nail wasn't even worth it because the sides of my nails are missing color. It's overpriced for services that aren't worth it.

I get my feet done here. I love their nail polish. They got nice colors, and they last long. Shape is nice too. Calm nail salon, very relaxing.

Google
I love it, the only thing is that they don't apply the acrylic close to the cuticle, so in a week we have to go back, because it's big again! I hate that! I'm even thinking about going somewhere else because you just got your nails done and it looks like you did it a week ago! it does not give

Got my nails done two weeks ago and I still receive compliments 😊 Shop takes walk-ins only, no appointments, but they were able to take care of me right away, and each service was done quickly but not rushed through. Pedicure was nice and used a cool gel technology I’d never seen before. I got gel overlay/hard gel fill in and my tech was in tune with my preferences and able to execute the design I showed her off of Instagram (I’ve been to shops where they say they can, but they look a mess - this wasn’t the case at Ms. Q). Overall great service for a reasonable price. This isn’t a luxurious, spa environment, but they execute WELL and that matters a lot. FYI: CASH ONLY. There’s an ATM but it has a service charge and gave some other customers trouble.

Google
Love this place! It is my go to nail spot. It doesn't smell bad, the techs are skilled, and my tech Aywa was awesome. If you aren't too finicky or particular amd love pretty nails, with absolute lovely prices, this is the place. My nails were about $75 So that's a nice price

Google
I'm new to this nail salon and my first experience was absolutely great! Even though they opened slightly late However I enjoyed Nail Tech named Cici..who did my nails (I got the gel manicure)..She was so kind and funny too 😊 So I will be going back to redo my nails when it's time.

Yelp
Had a layover in NY & needed my nails done before my trip began. I was recommended MSQ Nail & walked in and was serviced in a timely manner. Everyone was welcoming & kind. Rachel did such an amazing job with my nails! I normally stick to French tip but I decided to switch it up. She executed well. They were also very affordable-- I was shocked!

Yelp
Just because there business hours open at 10:30am does not mean that you show up at that exact time lol, I promise that there's usually already a line there. Is there sometimes a wait line absolutely, but it's definitely worth it! I love the service and especially whenever I get a pedi, I would definitely recommend the gel scrub treatment for your feet, and if you work from home just make sure that your video is off lol
google avatar

Dan Marly F.

Yelp
I wish I could put a video of these nails cuz they are beyond pretty! All this for about $75 and I just love it! The salon didn't smell of anything, Aywa was a pleasant person to get my nails by amd I plan on letting her design my next set. I will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Horrible fill-in job and subpar customer service. I went for a fill-in and pedicure for the first time and I was looking forward to it because of the high rating and decent reviews. This is my fill-in which is less than 6 hours old. This horrible peeling is surprising because my cure time was pretty generous. I guess that their is a chance that they "water down" their polish because I have been to other salons that use the same polish and my nails always looked great. The customer service here isn't spectacular by any stretch. The nail tech I had wasn't rude or anything but he was too rough with handling my hands. Think twisting your fingers in an unnatural position that becomes painful and not stopping after you tell him that they are making you uncomfortable, filing my knuckles instead of my nails, rushing so much through my paint job that there was hair stuck under my first coat of gel polish and we had to start that finger over, rushing with the base coat and two fingers cured with a splotchiness and those nails had to be drummeled down again and started over) -- hot mess even though he did fix everything and said "no problem" whenever I did ask him to be gentler or fix something. Honestly I think that the atmosphere is not relaxing and they have such a high volume of customers that they kind of have to rush through you to move onto the next person. Also, I noticed these things in case that they are important for you: Pros: - I like minimalist designs, but there are a lot of more creative design options all over the salon. - It seems like if you want a creative look to your nails they will hook you up with no problem which is good to know. - I was greeted as soon as I took a seat at the waiting chairs. - Plastic bags are used to line the pedi bowl which is great. Cons: - The entire salon is not clean (everything is covered in thick layers of acrylic powder dust or nail polish, the UV gel light that I put my right hand into had a stickiness to it on the inside, the towels for your feet are stained and ratty, etc.). - filing products are not individually wrapped and are reused on multiple customers. - They have stations with items being used on customers next to a huge garbage bin in the back of the salon where the pedicure stations are. - A woman was having a spa treatment (probably eyebrow wax) in a back room in the pedi area and the technician didn't close the door and another customer walked in during the service (and then walked back out bugged eyed and then the tech closed the door, lol). Anyway, I hope this review was helpful and needless to say, I won't be back.

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would! Called and specifically asked what kind of dip powder they use, I was told SNS which I what I wanted. So I went. Turns out they are ONLY using SNS base powder. The color powders are some cheaper versions. Had a pedicure asked for a champagne like color & after 3 times the tech came back with the wrong color I said whatever-I got purple. So I asked if there was SNS powder to match for my nails- they told me yes. LIES! Now I have purple toenails and the closest cheap dip powder they has is more pink than purple! I will NEVER return NOR do I recommend to ANYONE!

Yelp
No waiting 5:30pm on a Tuesday in June 2021. ATM inside and it is cash only. Spacious and friendly. Basic manicure + a Spa Pedicure was 40$ total. He respected my request that he not push or cut my cuticles. Massage for my pedicure was on point.

Yelp
It took me awhile to write this review... but this is honestly the best spot in this neighborhood to get your nails done. It is by far the most sanitary and the most friendly. I've been coming here since it opened and I've never gotten an attitude. They speak as soon as you walk in and if there's a wait they will let you know. My only gripe with this place would have to be the wait. I get it though... it's the best so it's busy. I never even bother to come on the weekends because you will wait... unless it's early in the morning. I won't even reveal the best time to come because that might become packed too! (Monday evenings wink wink) Everything else here is great! They have the most abundant nail polish and gel color collection. I've never gotten any nail designs but that's also what they are known for... they also have matching toe and nail gel colors which is great. The price point here offered compared with the service and cleanliness is the reason to come here. A pedi and a acrylic refill only cost me 30 dollars. Gel is a bit more but it does last the full two weeks on natural nails. If you've got time to wait... this place is your best bet.

Yelp
I have been coming to Anna since July 2018 and she has taken care, has patience and also when I walk in knows what I want for my tips. This place is clean and it's never an issue if there's a discrepancy for a service. This is the third set of fillings I've had for glass nails and they last pretty long as long as you wear gloves doing household chores or dealing with chemicals. 3 weeks is the longest I've went w/out a fill in.

Yelp
Excuse me for liking my perfectly fine natural nails and only wanting a regular mani-pedi. Some of us don't want long nails, no offense to the acrylic lovers. If I was to ever go the acrylic route I would never ever go here, y'all work is trash! Anyway, I was treated horribly because I only wanted a mani pedi. Even after several scoffs, looks of disdain, then s$!t talking in their language, and attempts at up sales, I still only wanted what?? Exactly what I came for...a mani pedi! I mean it's pretty basic right, the first thing nail techs should learn how to do. However, I received a horribly rushed job of uneven nails and painted cuticles. My nails began to chip the next day. Undoubtedly a waste of $23. Never again!

Yelp
A near hour wait but the results were fantastic! I stepped into this place on an early Friday afternoon around 4 and the place was packed! After watching how meticulously each nail technician handled their customers and how each set of hands resulted in perfection, I knew I was in the right place. I was unsure whether to do gel nails here (in fear I would be wasting my money if the gel was not long Lasting), but I became more calm once my technician reassured me not to worry. I'm not sure of her name but she sits in the fourth chair from the main entrance. She helped me choose a design and went to WORK!!! The prices are a bit higher than normal for the area, but every cent is worth it in the end. Needless to say, I came out the salon a very happy customer and I will definitely return soon!

Yelp
My first time trying this place out because it's close to my house. Very over priced for a fill in I paid more than I would pay for a new set at my got to nail salon. My Gel polis made my nails look thick and they started to chip at the tips the very next day. My pointer finger acrylic has chipped on the side as well. I've never seen GEL polish chip the next day.

Yelp
I'm a "regular" who waits patiently wait, I talk up when I need too!! and I get no respect lmao. Its all good, I guess. The lady in the first chair has me coming back.

Yelp
Pros: added lots of layers of gel polish. I expect it to last for 2 years Cons: wack customer service and mediocre manicure experience. I regret giving a tip after I realize there was some gel on my skin. I would go back but if you trying treat yourself and feel fabulous go somewhere else. It's a solid gel manicure for $21. You can pay that at some rundown place locally, but this place has one up them. Nice interior design and is very clean.

Yelp
I went back on a early slow Wednesday and the customer service was still blah. The man doing my nails made me feel like he had better things to do. I asked for stilettos (pointy) nails and he said "NO!" "Because it's too much work!"I told him well that's what I want! He tells me it's $5 extra. Not a problem in my eyes. He left me sitting alone twice not to do someone's eyebrows or pedicure or even to use the bathroom I was just sitting for up to 5 minutes waiting. Afterwards I asked for a simple line design similar to a cross and they wanted to charge me $2 per finger for the design. I go to the nail salon to pamper myself and I left annoyed! and I'm not a $1 $2 tipper either if you take pride in your work. My advice to them is VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS THE WAY YOU VALUE OUR BLACK DOLLARS!

Yelp
When this place first opened, I was a huge fan because they were attentive to their consumers' needs. However, as time went on, they began to rush their service. I also notice that a huge priority is placed on people getting manicures. This is probably because it costs way more to get a fancy, embellished, colorful set of fingernails. Either way, I think it is rude for the workers to overlook me (after sitting for 20 minutes with my feet in a tub of water) while they take care of the woman who just walked in 2 minutes ago to get a gel manicure. My advice to this business: 1) be respectful of everyone's time 2) don't rush the process...Rome wasn't built in a day
google avatar

Tee H.

Yelp
Number 1 I'm pregnant and they refused me service. I did my nails here before it was rushed and she was so rough I was bleeding but because I believe in second chances I came back! Poor me! I drove all the way here from Queens on google it says they close at 8pm I walk in at 7:28, he's telling me they close at 7:30. Which one is it?! Do you close at 7:30 or 8:00 decide! It's sad that black people support this business and they can't even get a set time for business hours. I will never come back here again yes they do a decent job but it's always crowded and they always in a rush, very rude and disrespectful. I will never come here again and I will spread the word. Save your time and go elsewhere. I went somewhere else and they did an excellent job. Tell MSQ I won't be back!

Alicia G.

Yelp
Foolish. Foolish of me to come on a Sunday at 11:30 and think I would be getting out in a timely manner! I was told the wait time would be 20 mins (it was 60) and after about 30 mins me and another woman were ushered into the back where they had us sit in the pedicure chairs and soak our feet. For like 15 minutes. I had somewhere else to be and only alotted 1.5 hours for everything, so I actually ended up leaving without getting anything done. I will say they did not rush anything on the other clients there, which is really good to know. They have an array of designs if you want acrylic nails (which I don't do) and you can also find them on Instagram under their name MSQNailspa. It's a step up from the other places in Flatbush and that's nice. I'll be back tomorrow to try this again!!
google avatar

Alicia S.

Yelp
Very crowded place, love the fact that they use bags for the sinks where pedicures takes place. A few of the older ladies have bad attitudes and always make it known they're waiting for a tip after you receive your change which is a bad habit i don't like. As a customer let me give you a tip if i feel your job is not to pressure anyone but either than that they're work is great!! And I've haven't went anywhere else since

Vincent ..

Yelp
I love it I went there and my nails look perfect.... and it's cheap the girl that did my nails is so nice

Rosa P.

Yelp
I visited this nail salon during a break- I asked the staff how long the wait would be & was informed that two technicians were finishing up shortly and I would be next. I waited 30 minutes, which was fine , but then the technicians both started other people's nails. I asked the lady what was happening and she responded that one is only getting her eyebrows done, but clearly I see her getting her nails done. The nail lady quickly added that the customer was there before me, which again I replied that it was fine, but why did she lie. The staff quickly grew irritated and was rude . Do not go there if you do not have all day ! Based on my experience and other reviews- it sounds like the workers lie, so people do not leave!

Yelp
Been going to Anna since she was at BlingBling. So glad she got her own spot. Lynn is also great don't sleep on her lol. Show them a pic and your design will come out just like it

Infinity D.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying MsQ is a good nail salon for people who do Acrylic. Not for people in my position who do gel mani's (especially if you have thin nails like me). Despite having a great selection of gel colors, they are not the best for natural nail care. I have been to this location on a number of occasions, and for each time there has been tension between me and the manicurist. I've told the women doing my nails to not use the drill on my nails, and each time I tell her she catches an attitude. I've asked for another coat of gel polish because my nails are fragile and I'm willing to pay a extra fee, that was an issue. When I am under the UV light curing my nails, I understand that you guys have other customers to tend to but do not tell me to cure my nails under the UV for damn near six minutes. There is no reason why I should still be drying for that amount of time if I'm doing Gel. The whole purpose for Gel is to skip the long drying time that I would do with a regular manicure. ( rolling eyes emoji) In conclusion, they are good for acrylic but for natural nails they are so/so. Will I be coming back to this nail salon ? N O P E .

Michelle M.

Yelp
They're really nice and friendly I went in for acrylic tips(nails $20 btw pretty good price tbh) and I feel like they did a good job but one lady that did my sister nails rushed and they turned out crooked and now that I see mine are to but it's isn't that's noticeable at least mine aren't My Sister's you can tell it was also her first time getting acrylic nails and she was kinda disappointed

Carolyn G.

Yelp
This was my first time at MSQ Nails and they did a phenomenal job with my my nails! I'll be back for sure.

Sam R.

Yelp
This is the best nail spa I have ever been to, the nail specialist Ling takes great care of me, her designs were so fashionable. Her attention to detail really pleased me. I would recommend their service to anyone. The pedicure name Tim really took care of me.

Zee C.

Yelp
I've been going here for about three months but my last visit really disappointed me. The woman who did my nails cut my finger and made my nails way to short. It was also very sloppily done. Also she would not stop trying to convince me to get the gel manicure. When I asked them to do it over they told me they'd charge me for what she had done and a separate set. I didn't mind paying for what she had done but definitely not the full price. They wanted $48 in total. Not sure if they'll be seeing my face again.

Esther E.

Yelp
My new fav nail spot, the nail techs are friendly and ive never been disappointed by my nails, the pedis are awesome and thorough and they are sanitary they line the foot tubs w plastic before every use and autoclave the tools !! Which isA mustt for me sidebar: after you can grab a quick bite across the street next door from the trini roti spot super yummy , try the doubles or a roti

Teah M.

Yelp
My previous experiences at this salon has been great but when I started getting gel manicures it hasn't. Every time I tell them I want straight square nails it's either not straight or not the right shape. I had to tell the lady multiple times to fix my nail. Also the polish application was bad. I got a pedicure once from them and I had to wait a good 15 minutes to be tended too after suiting in the pedicure station.
