Yelp
Horrible fill-in job and subpar customer service. I went for a fill-in and pedicure for the first time and I was looking forward to it because of the high rating and decent reviews.
This is my fill-in which is less than 6 hours old. This horrible peeling is surprising because my cure time was pretty generous. I guess that their is a chance that they "water down" their polish because I have been to other salons that use the same polish and my nails always looked great.
The customer service here isn't spectacular by any stretch. The nail tech I had wasn't rude or anything but he was too rough with handling my hands. Think twisting your fingers in an unnatural position that becomes painful and not stopping after you tell him that they are making you uncomfortable, filing my knuckles instead of my nails, rushing so much through my paint job that there was hair stuck under my first coat of gel polish and we had to start that finger over, rushing with the base coat and two fingers cured with a splotchiness and those nails had to be drummeled down again and started over) -- hot mess even though he did fix everything and said "no problem" whenever I did ask him to be gentler or fix something.
Honestly I think that the atmosphere is not relaxing and they have such a high volume of customers that they kind of have to rush through you to move onto the next person.
Also, I noticed these things in case that they are important for you:
Pros:
- I like minimalist designs, but there are a lot of more creative design options all over the salon.
- It seems like if you want a creative look to your nails they will hook you up with no problem which is good to know.
- I was greeted as soon as I took a seat at the waiting chairs.
- Plastic bags are used to line the pedi bowl which is great.
Cons:
- The entire salon is not clean (everything is covered in thick layers of acrylic powder dust or nail polish, the UV gel light that I put my right hand into had a stickiness to it on the inside, the towels for your feet are stained and ratty, etc.).
- filing products are not individually wrapped and are reused on multiple customers.
- They have stations with items being used on customers next to a huge garbage bin in the back of the salon where the pedicure stations are.
- A woman was having a spa treatment (probably eyebrow wax) in a back room in the pedi area and the technician didn't close the door and another customer walked in during the service (and then walked back out bugged eyed and then the tech closed the door, lol).
Anyway, I hope this review was helpful and needless to say, I won't be back.
