I’ve been skiing at Mt. Baker for years, and it never disappoints. The terrain is fantastic, and the views from the top of the lifts are absolutely breathtaking. I would literally come here only for the views!! Mt Shuksan and Mt Baker are so picturesque! The lodge food is solid too—perfect for warming up between runs. A favorite winter spot! They have rentals at the lodge; also parking is always available. We prefer to come here for two days of skiing, as it’s a far drive from Seattle.

The view is underrated during Summer for the ski area and can’t justify the beauty in Winter season, but it is worth a visit. Most parts of the roads uphill are winery, so it requires good driving skills. Chains are needed for Winter.

🚲🛹fun. Theres flaggers on road and a temporary signal be careful bikers going 40+, when we finally did decide to leave the abrupt flaggers made group of bikers behind us screech to a halt

I’ve been coming here for multiple years now, the skiing here is great, with great views at the top of the lifts. And food at the lodges is good.

Visited June 2025 and the roads were clear, the mountain was still snow-covered and gorgeous. The road is really rough in spots, so if you have a low profile vehicle, take it easy!

I live in Vancouver. This is my first time to My Baker skiing. I really enjoy it. It was a blue bird day. The snow was great, the runs were fun, and most importantly, the lineup for the lift was short. I stayed at chair 1 & 6 area. The average waiting time was less than 1 min. WOW! Plus the astonishing mountains view. I definitely will go back for more.

I was hesitant to ski at Mount Baker because I had the mistaken impression that their runs are harder than most (compared to my fav Colorado places) and that they don't groom. But they DO groom and there ARE easy runs. (The only problem with grooming is that if it snows, the snow falls so fast that it quickly covers the corduroy. No snow today though.) I did a class as part of their Senior Thursdays program and it was totally fun and not scary at all! Now of course, today was a PERFECT day for skiing (warm and calm) and most days at Mt Baker aren't like today, but I still recommend that you give it a try sometime! A nice advantage - I got there at 8:15am and was able to park my car less than 100 feet from the lift (White Salmon C7). As for food, you can get a vegetarian breakfast burrito or vegetarian sandwich (with an "impossible"-type sausage) at the lodges. I had the veg breakfast sandwich made to order because there weren't any veg items premade, and that was GREAT. It was a weekday, so probably on weekends they have veg items premade along with the meaty things. They also have espresso drinks. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Mount Baker is tiny even compared to Eldora near Boulder, but big enough to hold my interest a few times a year.

The most down to earth ski hill anywhere. Great snow coverage, great lodge food (not fancy), lots of variety of runs to ski from expert to beginner. They are actually independent and local with none of the corporate bs that has infected most of the industry. Come hang out on the coolest hill with seriously independent skiers and boarders who like to spend time on the mountain under the shadow of Mt Shuksan.
