Mt. Maplewood Lodge

"The host for Mt Maplewood Lake House, Ricky, is incredible, beyond what I have experienced at any rental property- or 5-star hotel! Every need was anticipated, and concern addressed. The home was beautifully and lovingly cared for, clean and cozy, and the view was spectacular. Ricky went above and beyond from the very beginning. We were planning to surprise our son with a weekend of fishing and lakeside fun. We had not one, but 2!, hosts cancel our reservations, the second host cancelling at noon on the day of our reservation! We reached out to Ricky in a panic and he went above and beyond to create a same-day rental opportunity for us so that we could grant my sons's birthday wish. When we arrived at Mt. Maplewood Lake House the home was everything we had hoped for and more- with thoughtful manuals and local suggestions, incredible amenities that our family LOVED like a retro-arcade machine, projector for movies, huge Connect Four yard game, paddle-boat- and even a beautiful hot tub!!! Down to the prefilled shampoo and soap dispensers in each shower- Ricky thought of it all! We can't wait to stay at one of their properties again in the future. New family tradition unlocked!"

Very comfortable house for a larger family. Four bedrooms, larger living room, three season room and game room in the garage for indoor days and a large yard, right on the lake, for outdoor days. Direct access to launch kayak and canoe. Mini-split AC units in all but one bedroom and the house stayed cool even though we had some hot, humid days. Direct-line propane grill, so no worries about the tank going empty mid-vacation! And nothing beats waking up at sunrise on a lake (see picture)

My husband and I made a spur of the moment decision to go on a little getaway for our anniversary. We’ve both always wanted to stay in a cabin at the Poconos during the winter, so it was a no brainer for us that that’s where we were going. My husband came across Mt. Maplewood Lodge when searching for a place for us to stay, and we knew immediately that’s where we wanted to stay, and we are so glad we did. It was the cutest, coziest cabin. We enjoyed everything about it. One of our favorite things about it was the hot tub. It was perfect for these cold, snowy nights. The game room was also really cool. The host, Ricky, was super sweet. We really appreciated the guidebook he made, which had everything you could think of, from places to eat, activities to do, places to shop, etc. It was extremely helpful for us, because we’ve never been to the Poconos before, and since this trip was so last minute, we didn’t have time to plan anything out ahead of time. Just everything about our stay was perfect. We were so sad when we had to leave. We definitely plan on staying here again.

We stayed at the Chalet in July 2025 and loved it! The house was perfect for our party of 13 - it was big enough for us to be together and yet had lots of space for us to have privacy when we needed it. We appreciated the labels on everything from remotes and light switches to drawers in the kitchen. Ricky was also a great host, very responsive, flexible - and very warm and kind. We had a wonderful stay!

Loved our time at the lake house. We had a great time. The view is great. We didn’t get to use the lake because it was cold. I can’t say enough good things about Ricky and the experience our entire family had at the Maplewood Chateau last thanksgiving! The house was awesome and Ricky made sure we were comfortable and we had everything we needed!

We loved our family trip to the Chalet! There was so much room, everything was clean and there were so many things to keep you busy in the house! Ricky was so helpful from day 1, responded quickly to emails, answered all questions and provided all information up front, made the whole process very easy. We highly recommend and can’t wait to make more memories here in the future!
