I booked this place because my son's name is Alexander, Ashford has a special place on my heart as a Thurston county local.
There are MANY places to stay here for significantly less cheaper and WAY better customer service.
Jared the manager there will not be helpful what so ever and throw the fact that he has 16 years experience in New York hospitality, and that you should have read the fine print, when they charge you almost 300$ for one night,
Unfortunately I did not need the reservation and tried calling in-between my busy schedule leaving multiple voicemails to never getting a response.
Went online to dispute it with in the allotted 14 day time period, got denied for some reason.
& Finally I called Expedia for them to dispute on my behalf, when told that nothing could be done I felt wronged as I felt I have done everything right to avoid this charge.
Therefore I called Jared myself to push me towards somebody who can help me sense he stated he isn't the owner, and they are strict on these things, and will not leave a message or give me contact info.
I told him that I will leave a review explaining this situation than and his lack of emotional control showed as he hung up on me because I was not impressed with his attempts to belittle me and his ack of customer service.
Unfortunate because I was looking forward to this place potentially being a tradition for our family for years and years to come.
I know Ashford is a super small town, so I'm sure they will not replace this guy or take this seriously, as they want to look high class and charge top dollar for poor customer service and the decor on the inside does not stand to the old time charm that Ashford gives to this place,
Like I said you can do better in Ashford and surrounding areas for half the price and double if not triple the value.
As a professional I am absolutely not impressed with this experience and have accepted that I am banned by Jared and out $300.
They probably needed it more than I did.
