Mu Hotel

Saved this property for quite some time. Decided to give this place a try since i am finally heading. Stayed here for a night during my recent trip to Ipoh. This hotel is about 20mins grab ride away from the Amanjaya Bus Terminal. The surronding of the hotel is relatively quiet. There are ammenties nearby such as eatries and convenience store such as 7-11. The Check- in experience was pretty good. The front counter staff were friendly and welcoming. I was assigned to a room on the 5th level if i didnt remeber wrongly. The room was spacious and cozy. The room was clean and well maintained. Bed was super comfy, had a good night of sleep. Location of the hotel was good too, easy to travel to all the popular food places in Ipoh. Overall experience was definitely above average. Would highly recommed this hotel should you come to Ipoh

Everything is good except Shower room temperature. Turned to hot, but the water is super hot, then turned to cold, but water not immediately cool down, waited for 10mins is still very hot. The hot water nearly burn my scalp. Other than this, every thing is good. Location very close to town. Local vibes Dimsum just opposite of the hotel and a kopitiam.

Booked via MU Hotel, Bonnie Lee during promotion. Bonnie was most efficient and prompt in answering to my queries as I was not in Malaysia then. Room is clean and new, looks like its been renovated recently and with very pleasant and practical design. Free shuttle provided to town with a very friendly driver, Andy. Enjoy the breakfast that sufficient varieties and delicious..Staff was very friendly and professional. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a quiet area and hotel looks new or has been renovated. Definitely will return to stay next time and highly recommended to all coming to Ipoh.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Ipoh. After checking out, I was about to book a Grab to the KTM Station when the shuttle driver, Addy, kindly offered to drop me off instead. What made the experience truly memorable was that Addy didn't just provide transportation - he took the time to act as a tour guide along the way, sharing fascinating insights about Ipoh and helping us appreciate the city even more. Thank you, Addy, for your exceptional hospitality and for going above and beyond to make our visit special. Your warmth and knowledge of Ipoh made a real difference to our trip. This kind of personal touch is what makes a good hotel stay a great one! Highly recommended!

Great value Hotel in Ipoh. Location is close to the center. The room is clean, modern and quiet. The bed is comfortable. Wifi is usable. The breakfast is okay. They even have a indoor child playarea. We definitely would choose this hotel again.

We had a very pleasant stay at MU Hotel. Our Standard Room was well-appointed and met our needs. It is thoughtfully designed and the beds were very comfortable. Importantly, too, the water pressure and temperature in the shower stayed consistent while in use (we were on the highest floor), something which I so often find lacking in hotels. It was nice indeed to return to a nice shower after a hot day. Service from the front desk was also efficient, helpful, and pleasant. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the places in the New Town and Old Town and even to the airport(!), all of which were a pleasant surprise to us. We had the services of Addy, the hotel's driver, and he was most helpful and kind. He was not merely a driver, but gave us advice on eating places and things to do. We could tell right away that he clearly enjoys his job! The hotel is located in a quiet area, i.e. not along a main thoroughfare, and is a stone's throw to eateries in the New Town by foot. It was our first time staying here and we'll be glad to do so again.

I have stayed there many times. The location is great, not too far from popular food outlet. They provide free shuttle to KTM or airport, and popular tourist spots. However need to make prior arrangements with the management.The staffs is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Will definitely return on my next trip.

Location of hotel is good as it’s mostly minutes away for all recommended food. There is a 24 hours prata shop inront of the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful with our questions. Good for short trip getaway for family and couples looking to be foodies.
