Kyle, Blaine, and Tim were awesome! I worked with Kyle on ordering a brand new Avid, he let me customize everything I wanted and didn’t want on the boat! Great guy to work with and even answered and worked with my bank with financing on his day off! Very hard to find customer service like this anymore! Thanks guys for everything!

They wife and I were in the market for a new boat. I have owned boats in the past, but its been a number of years since I owned a boat. I found Muddy Bay online and the wife and I took the 2 hour drive there on a Saturday. My wife is in a wheelchair and Tim sat down with us for hours working through all the details and options, working with the factory to get us the boat that would best fit our needs. The Manufacture even Facetimed us from the factory floor during the building process to make sure the accessories we added were being placed where we needed them. Kyle also keep me informed about the processes and timelines along the way. When we when to pick up the boat, it was a cold day, so Kyle kept the boat inside so he could go over all the details and options and how they worked. We could not be more pleased in the process with Kyle and Tim and all the people at Muddy Bay Marine. I would highly recommend them and would purchase from them again. I bought an Excel boat Yamaha motor and trailer 4 years ago from Muddy Bay . I was a walk in customer seeing their inventory from the highway. I had no recomendations from friends on this store. I was greeted by everyone in the store and given plenty of time to explain what I was looking for. They were patient and I am long winded! I was educated on new features and products that a boater of over 50 years needed to learn . I left that day and ran the internet , stopped at other dealers , and a month latter I returned and bought my outfit. I drive over an hour to their facility and I don't complain. Its Yamaha quality , no nonsense tough as nails Excel boats and sturdy trailers. I gave my 25 year old Boston Whaler with a Yamaha engine to a church camp to buy the products they sell. I hope that tells you what I expect from a boat, and I have not been disappointed. Nobody in my area sells this , nobody services without questions or excuses. Its one of those places you might only let your good buddies know about !

As a kayaker, they have everything you need—kayaks, paddles, PFDs, and just about everything YakAttack carries, either in stock or available quickly. The staff is always friendly, making every visit a great experience. If you're in or near Newberry, I highly recommend stopping by.

Stopped into Muddy Bay on a Friday entertaining the idea of buying a new aluminum boat. I told Kyle what I was thinking about and he showed me around the Avid Rogue 18SC and I loved everything about the boat. Fast forward a week, I bought it and already had it out on the water doing the engine break-in. Tim and his folks are good people, made the process very streamlined and easy! Drove from nj to muddy bay for a viper f4. They opened a few minutes early to get me back on the road for my 12 hour trip home. Kyle and the owner are great people with great customer service. They had my boat all set up and walked me through it and answered all my questions in the freezing cold. Very knowledgeable. If i ever get another boat it will be from muddy bay for sure. The attention to detail is crazy. The trailer that came with my boat has their logo on it that lights up. Makes even the trailer look sharp. They move inventory for sure so they are straight forward no gimmicks so don’t sleep on the idea of buying a boat from them because it will probably be gone when you wake up.
