Grounding, earthy cafe with chaga options for lattes and matcha. Came here to met up with a friend on a Friday afternoon and it was crowded, though we were able to nab a seat at the counter then move to bean bags. There’s a member-only section along with private rooms. The barista was friendly and recommended I do cashew milk with my latte (you have a choice of milk). Metered street parking available. Credit cards accepted. You pay the counter first then they call your name. Great options for those who are vegan or simply health-focused.

Seriously, congratulations to the founder(s) of MUD/WTR. This is hands down the most comfortable place I’ve ever been to in LA. Designing a space like this shows real respect for the guests. You can feel the intention in every detail.

Walked by this place often and wondered about it until my wife brought me in. Phenomenal space for having organic coffees with friends or enjoying a quiet, efficient workspace. And the option to subscribe and have access to a fully appointed 'work' section is a great idea. My wife loves their Matcha, and they have unique mushroom coffees, though I haven’t tried them all. Apparently, it’s also a gathering space for all sorts of events, meditation, yoga… It will be fun getting to know it better.

Very cozy and zen spot, with high quality mushroom drinks supplementing coffee, matcha, or calming teas or protein powder. I have tried the chocolate protein shake and the hot mushroom drink and the best I liked ,the straw-bee-rry smoothie with so many superfoods in. All great taste and healthy benefit, great staff and vibe.

I'm so grateful this spot exists 🙏🏽 super cozy space to co-work during the day while sipping on some quality alternative lattes with unique milk options like pistachio or coconut / cashew. Ive also been to one of the classes at night which was great. I love that there is a sense of community behind the it all so I always see familiar faces when I'm there and tend to bump into people I know from the Zula Den in West Adams even though it's on the other side of town. Because the communities overlap between these two wellness centers.

This is my absolute favorite place to work and chill. I’m always extremely productive and happy when I come here. Everyone is so friendly and has great vibes. The drinks are amazing and they just give me such a sustainable amount of energy and focus. I’m so thankful that they opened this place up!

Love this place! I took my dogs with me. Grabbed a Matcha and hung out. The staff was very nice! They even gave me a few treats to give them. The environment was so peaceful. It you haven’t gone, you need to go! Oh and the matcha…top tier! I also love the OG!

We had our photo booth Desert Luna Photobooths here for the SuperMush Paint Jam in March and I couldn't recommend this place more. We had such a blast capturing photos on a very special night within this community space. The Mud/Wtr staff is so friendly, welcoming and accommodating in every single way. This place feels like home and family whenever we come to work and visit. Since March, we have made Mud/Wtr gather a workspace 2-3 times per week to focus and get work done. Highly recommend Mud/Wtr in every single way. This place has changed our life at Desert Luna and helps us to be productive without the jitters of coffee.

One of my friends and I came in for a cold plunge and sauna session outside of the communal workspace/coffee shop. Inside, MUD\WTR offers a clean, refreshing environment full of plants, muted light, and the fresh aroma of lion's mane coffee. We got the beauty latte and spicey cacao latte as warm refreshers. The spicey cacao absolutely stole the show for us! The server also was wonderful at recommending us optimal milks for our orders and informing us more about MUD\WTR and the events available. This would easily become my new favorite spot to chill at for mushroom coffee samples and a sweet community and workspace :)

We love this place. My wife and I walk down most weekends...sometimes both days! I love the OG with pistachio milk and she usually gets the spicy cacao. Both delicious! If you live in the area, make sure to come in!

Beautiful coffee shop with good vibes and tasty drinks. The manager and barista are super friendly and nice--they'll offer you recommendations if you ask them. The shop also holds some pretty cool workshops throughout the week from meditation to mindfulness markets. As someone who can't dairy, I'm glad they carry dairy substitute for the blends. I also snagged a set for my friend's graduation gift and she loves it!! I recommend this place to all my friends :)

The space is gorgeous, I just wish the product convinced me to stay and enjoy it. The matcha chai blend had zero matcha flavor. They market it as matcha and I'm sure it's in there, but everything else is so overpowering, it's highly misleading to call it matcha. It just tasted like blended turmeric mushrooms, which isn't my thing, but perhaps others will like it and then they can enjoy the pretty space.

I think this is such an underrated place to study! I love the ambiance with the bean bags and the large interior. It feels casual and chill - many people here studying but also just catching up with one another. They serve coffee made with mushrooms instead of coffee beans and it honestly tastes super good and healthy. Good service too! Didn't have to wait long either with a parking lot in the front :)

super interesting space - consists of work areas + lounge and even a meditation area. definitely an unconventional coffee shop. not much range in menu options since it is all mushroom based (?) and tea/spice forward. decent place to get work done but strong incense smell if you are sensitive to that!

Ok, so I happened upon this place while taking a very early morning walk and couldn't be happier. Open and inviting entrance, friendly staff greeting me and assuring me they are not the kind of mushrooms that would have me seeing Bob Barker riding a Dali elephant in seconds and very nice overall vibe. I sat down, sipped my almond concoction and really relaxed for around 20 minutes. Almost reminded me of a spa in Hong Kong. I can see this as a place for working, meetings w friends and just chilling out on a Saturday morning. Fits perfectly w the atheistic of the neighborhood too. Don't believe the photo less haters, they probably own the competition. Shout out to June Shin too for providing a similar spot for me and my girl to have many a relaxing afternoon in. (When I'm not irritating her and she storms out the door). So, check it out.

So psyched for this new entrant to one of my favorite blocks on Main street! This used to be a rug Factory and then a post-production place and they've kept a lot of the bones to create a really cool hybrid of cafe, and hang space. They also have a parking lot in front for 8 or 10 cars which is a huge win for this block. While the cafe is not yet open, the menu currently features a lot of the mud/wtr classics. If you haven't had mud/wtr, this is not your typical Coffee Joint at all. From their website... "Our OG blend is a coffee alternative made of 100% organic cacao, masala chai, and mushrooms to give you natural energy and focus without the jitters and crash. How's it taste? Like your mug of hot cacao met a chai latte and they had a baby." I love the OG, which is rich and silky and btw vegan. Their hours will be expanded and the cafe will be open soon. Swing through as this is bound to become a neighborhood classic. Congrats and welcome to the neighborhood!

Not sure why there aren't more of these spaces near me. I am an avid coffee addict, so this place was very different for me. There were interesting base options from matcha to turmeric to cacao. I opted for the matcha, which felt like the safer caffeine option to me, but I would try something different next time. The drink was tasty with a slight taste of dates, which I didn't order specifically but was happy with. It gave me a nice kick of caffeine that I needed to start my day without the big buzz with coffee. The space where I enjoyed my drink was surprisingly bigger than what I had expected. There are bean bags, lounge chairs, and tables to get work done or just enjoy your drink. Staff was very nice, and there's just a calm vibe that you wouldn't find at a coffee shop.

Do not order it online. The company will put you on a requiring plan (even though) I ordered it ONE TIME ONLY. I wanted to try it out and ended up giving it away, because I didn't like the product. And....there is no way to contact them. The phone number they gave to reach them on my bank charge. DOES NOT WORK!

Cool and rly chill place to study. The drinks are actually pretty affordable for the area. A lot of outlets available and an assortment of seating available (huge bean bag, tables and chairs, lounge chairs, couches). Unique place to check out for sure.

I came across the product as an add on my instagram, today driving around LA I randomly came across the space and checked it out. I would give 7 stars if it was possible. The product is great the space is also great. The mushroom coffee is tasty and does the job as advertised. I was able to switch it for coffee and move away from my coffee habit. Another thing that I noticed was that my concentration and focus really did improve. Stop by check out the space and have a cup. Next time some one asks how you are doing, the reply can truly be "felling better and better" after a cup.

It's great. Matcha mint with coconut creamer and honey was great. The space is bohemian and super cool. They were nice. It's just a really cool environment to meet someone at or get some work done.

Just wrapped up a quick visit to Venice/Santa Monica and this amazing space was easily one of the highlights of a trip that was filled with highlights. Great service, tasty drinks, and a space that feels wildly comfortable as soon as you enter. Can't wait to return.

Outside of establishment they have a sign that says free samples. I went in and asked for advertised free sample. They did not have free samples. They said they ran out of their samples for the day. They didn't however remove their sign.

This is a fantastic place to gather with friends, far better than ordinary cafes. It features a sauna, a cold plunge, and a meditation room, creating a unique and relaxing environment. Their drinks are excellent--I highly recommend the OG. However, I didn't particularly enjoy their matcha..

I've been drinking mudwtr for years, I still drink coffee, but mudwtr gives me a cleaner energy without the caffeine buzz and crash. I was happy to go check out MUD in person! The service was good and the baristas make good drinks! The protein shake is great too. The vibe inside is perfect, too. Very relaxing :)

smelled really bad inside. service was bad, drinks were awful. the excuse they guy gave me at the counter was that they didn't care about retail. that is very clear. nowhere to sit, and very smelly.
