This is a beautiful and secluded campground, no fires nor generators, so with relative peace and quiet, it's totally worth the journey. You'll need to plan ahead and book in advance via ParksVic—my partner could only book us 3 nights in early January, and she booked 4 months prior. With 8 unpowered sites: sites 1–3 are walk-in from a nearby carpark, providing a naturalistic experience; the rest are drive-in. The inlet is great for swimming and fishing. Bring enough fresh water, as supplies are quite a drive away in Cann River; and insect repellant and cream for insect bites are a necessity as the march flies are brutal. With good weather you'll have a great view of the nightsky and with any luck, late at night, you might see the bioluminescence around the water's edge.

Campsites had about a foot or two of water as of March 2023. The area itself is beautiful but the campground needs serious maintenance.

Stayed 3rd August Beautiful spot right on the water .Very peaceful, just be aware of wild dogs who like to sleep on the sand dunes during the day .

Right on the water. Tucked away and only 8 camp sites. Love the isolation

Nice campsites next to the Mueller River with toilets. Bookings required from Parks Victoria. The area has mostly recovered from bushfires.

Good campsites made specifically for hikers and some for boats and tents. No fires being allowed was slightly annoying
