I had a very good weekday dinner at this small, comfortable restaurant, with adjacent wine and spirits shop.
The servers were excellent, especially the sommelier. However, I was disappointed to repeatedly hear the servers use a crumb vacuum (!) between courses, at each table, as needed.
Crumb knife or scoop, of course. A brush, yes. Even that manual roller brush device. Maybe. Because none of those items is loud enough to interrupt the conversation at the next table.
In any case, I did enjoy the cod with sea lettuce and fennel, and the beef sirloin with side of marrow. Unfortunately, my beef marrow, blue cheese and beetroot biscuit, while delicious, became a bit messy after the first bite.
And I really appreciated the Stella Pirrum pear vodka digestif, which, I was told, is distilled in Leszno, specifically for this restaurant (and wine merchant).
I will have to return.
