"Setting a high standard in the Poznan dining scene for many years, Muga is an elegant place with plush, understated décor and classically formal service that mirrors the surroundings. The French-based cooking shows both utmost skill and a welcome restraint; grassy white asparagus, for example, might excel in the simple company of rich pistachio and tangy bilberry. Wine plays a large role too: the list is excellent; Sommelier Łukasz is charming and generous; and their wine shop Casa de Vinos is just next door if you want to pick something up on the way home." - Michelin Inspector

Outstanding even by Michelin standards!!! Every single dish was spectacular - creative, surprising, yet balanced and unpretentious and most importantly, incredibly good. I would have the same menu again any minute. The delicate and beautiful presentation was another highlight. The quantity was also perfect - I left well fed but not stuffed. Another highlight was the selection of non-alcoholic beverages - an exquisite combination of rare products sourced from suppliers and their own mocktails.

I had a very good weekday dinner at this small, comfortable restaurant, with adjacent wine and spirits shop. The servers were excellent, especially the sommelier. However, I was disappointed to repeatedly hear the servers use a crumb vacuum (!) between courses, at each table, as needed. Crumb knife or scoop, of course. A brush, yes. Even that manual roller brush device. Maybe. Because none of those items is loud enough to interrupt the conversation at the next table. In any case, I did enjoy the cod with sea lettuce and fennel, and the beef sirloin with side of marrow. Unfortunately, my beef marrow, blue cheese and beetroot biscuit, while delicious, became a bit messy after the first bite. And I really appreciated the Stella Pirrum pear vodka digestif, which, I was told, is distilled in Leszno, specifically for this restaurant (and wine merchant). I will have to return. 2025 04 10. Only 1 Michelin restaurants in town. We have a great time dining here our service lady Dagmala were super kind and knowledgeable. They have quite good wine list and knowledge sommelier. All courses were amazing which is difficult to actually fine in Michelin restaurants, coz many time it is mix. If you are into fine food you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice indeed! I couldn't eat some of the fish and the steak tartare. I know it's which but I wish there had been a cooked option for those courses. World's best caviar... I can tick that off the list. It was ok.

We had the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairing, an outstanding an exciting experience in Poznan, certainly a well-deserved Michelin 1 star. They have an elegant service and a good selection of wines. We started with a very nice cava Llopart Reserva, then three appetizers, the octopus, the fish, the guinea fowl, the tartar, the tenderloin, and finally the deserts. The whole dinner is just history that marked our lives with incredible tasteful combinations, a rainbow of flavours.

Excellent everything! Visited on occasion of a corporate celebration dinner and was delighted by the food, wine and service. Very pleased with the vegetarian set menu.

Incredible chicken and I never choose chicken, probably the best I've ever eaten. Really good, unusual steak tartar. Lovely presentation. Didn't opt for the tasting menu, choosing our own and sharing probably cost the same. Sommelier was great, really knowledgeable and friendly, chose great wine and had good banter. Waitress was friendly and helpful but it wasn't fine dining service if that's what you're looking for. Decor wasn't really a 5* vibe, except the crystal bowls, they were great! The owner/wine shop manager brought down the mood, he had time for no one. Good price for an almost fine dining experience.

Dined here on New Years Eve, truly exceptional. The Sommelier was superb, nothing pretentious, just an all round good guy and a true professional. The food was exceptional and this place must be on The Michelins Inspectors radar. Visit now before it gets its star and the prices double.

Yelp
tldr: This place gets 5 stars for creative, exceptional food, fantastic ambiance, and gluten-free homemade bread. It's a white-gloves-to-remove-your-unused-silverware-between-courses kind of nice restaurant, and everything else about this place lives up to that standard. Food is beautifully plated, and an amuse-bouche begins the meal. The sommelier is pleasant and helpful, and the rest of the staff is equally as accommodating. But my favorite thing about this place... Homemade gluten-free bread. Beyond that, since I recognize that not everyone is restricted by this, the food was absolutely excellent. Friends had the grilled squid appetizer, with lamb entree, both delicious. I opted for the beef sirloin, and the sauces that accompanied it were unlike any flavors I had ever had before (they were familiar, but I had never had them together, if that make sense)... my tastebuds were dancing. An absolute fantastic meal, with a great wine list, in an updated classic setting. Highly recommend.
