If you are in Bilbao this place is a must. I had a solo dinner here after my friend’s flight was beyond impressed by the quality of the food and above all the service. Despite the language barrier the owner made me feel so welcome, ensured I was well fed and entertained. He told me about the history of the place (he is the third generation!) and even gave me a little memento to take away.

Came here on a Sunday without a reservation and surprisingly got a seat. Excellent service from one of the bartender(blonde with nice eyeliner), we tried Parrillada De Surtido De Carnes Ibéricas. The quality of meat is astounding, I would be back here again if I’m ever in Bilbao to try other dishes!

The place had a decent atmosphere with a nice indoor vibe. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly. We tried the anchovies and grilled mushrooms — both dishes were delicious.

It was the first dinner in our Bilbao trip. We ordered a few items and all of them were delicious. There was only one waiter serving all tables inside and outside the restaurant and he was so efficient and helpful, appreciate his service very much. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice place with good quality of food, nice atmosphere and a pleasant staff.

I came in for a quick bite and asked for anchovies. The lady kindly suggested I get half a portion, saying the full one might be too much. Despite that, the man who ended up serving me (around his 40s) brought me 12 pieces. He was also quite rude, even though I was making the effort to speak Spanish. What surprised me most was the price—I paid 41 euros (one person). For what I got, that felt excessive (the bread served was also dry and a bit hard). Not an experience I’d recommend.

Oh my god. I know I'm in the basque country and i know pintxos are everywhere but what a nice place. The beer is nice and cold and €2.80 Th pintxos all look amazing. You can seat by the bar and watch them without knowing what to order. They cost €2.70 The carne de cerdo ball with creamy cheese and chilli was delicious. The pan con chorizo looked nice but I just could not try anything else. Luckily I can get by in Spanish. Staff were nice and attentive but no English. Embrace the place. Just point at what you want and go for it.
