You can te this is a favorite spot for locals. Everyone is very kind here, both the staff and customers. They have really good dishes as well as coffee options. They do have gluten free options available including gluten free wraps and gluten free bread. Their espresso coffee cups are the cutest little things. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

I have lived in Fernie for more than 20 years. and Mugshots is a very great sample of good quality and friendly coffee shop. Her actual owner Florence has invested lots of time and effort trying to capture locals and visitors palate. They have an incredible staff, they are all super friendly and what I love they are all from all over the globe. Food is always incredible, fresh and they just do their best to treat their clients. I love going there because the smile of everyone else lights up my soul, and usually I catch a hug or two from their lovely staff. As a Fernie resident I feel super proud recommending this place to anyone, locals and visitors, you wont be disappointed. Thank you Florence and team for your amazing job keeping this place awesome.

I was passing through Fernie and I got a very unique experience here, It wasn’t bad or good. In order to end on a positive note I’ll start with the cons. Their straws, I don’t mind paper straws but these were truly bad and ugly. It was pricey for me, an iced latte, small soup and sandwich over $30. Awkward entrance, with it being attached to another business or something, not exactly sure what it was. The bathroom was dirty and outdated. Overall not very clean, and they have so much going on everywhere it seemed cluttered. Some decor wasn’t “it”, I understand what they tried doing with vintage and retro vibes but the tables with the green tops, and those chairs were just old and ugly, some of the decor was the same, just old, not in a cute way. The service was good, not great but good. They have wheelchair ramps everywhere which was a huge highlight to see, especially since they had to add a ramp on multiple locations! Small but very nice and secluded patio with solid bushes! Some of the decor was very beautiful and unique. Loved the wall mural with all the colours! The best part of the experience was the food, it was actually really delicious. I was nervous about it because everything had a hit or miss feeling to it, but the food made it all worth it. Sandwich made to perfection, toast with butter also perfectly done, chickpea and curry soup was meh, but filling! The most important thing is the food being delicious and that’s why I would definitely come back!

Happy with our first experience! Plenty of seating options, delicious food options, and quick service. Particularly pleased with their openness to accommodate splitting a smoothie for our two kids & serving it that way so they were none-the-wiser. ☺️

Comfortable vibe. Notably higher quality than anything we had in Waterton. We had the avocado toast and the burrito. Both were excellent. Great coffee too.

Fantastic place, highly recommend stopping by. Best Chai latte I've had in a while. Staff is friendly and the space is vibrant. There is also a corner where you can buy thrift clothes, records, and some very cool prints and stickers.

Cool spot, cozy atmosphere with lots of seating. Had a smoothie and the Reuben sandwich. Smoothie was really good! The Reuben was sad tho, just a tiny bit of meat shavings in the entire sandwich. If you like Reuben sandwiches, this isn’t even close. Overall, I recommend the place 👍🏻

Google
A good brunch spot in Fernie. Decent old fashioned dinner style service and interior, with decent brunch dishes and average prices. Food was decent and the service too. Nothing to rave about but a decent spot overall.

Yelp
We loved this great little cafe. The food and coffee are both really good and a great value! The outdoor patio was very nice with some good shady spots too! We both had an iced coffee with hazelnut (mine with oat milk) and a turkey salad sandwich with avacado. They came with potato chips on the side and the staff were all very friendly. Definatly reccomend the coffee and food and will be back!

Yelp
This is a neat coffee shop just off the Main Street in Fernie with a large selection of breakfast and lunch items. I got a pita wrap with yam patties which was unique and tasty! My bd got a Bombay BLT bagel which is a BLT with a curry twist. He enjoyed it too. They serve Nelson Oso Negro coffee, delicious! Definitely will come back again. This place has a cozy home feel but it would be nice to update some of the fur natures.

Yelp
I was extremely happy with my cappuccino and disappointed that I missed the 11:00 am cutoff for breakfast as there were selections I'd like to have tried. There weren't many pastry options during my visit (which seemed odd) so I chose a tuna sandwich for late breakfast which hit the spot. I was referred here by a local who said it was a dog friendly seating place, but after walking from our hotel in high temps and very much looking forward to a shady seat, I learned dogs were no longer allowed to sit at their outdoor umbrella tables. Since my dogs aren't used to being tethered to outdoor railings, a lady watched them while I went in and ordered then I had breakfast on the steps outside with my pooches. Not the relaxed, comfortable breakfast I thought I was referred to but I really wanted to try a "favorite local" coffee place referred by a Fernie local.

Yelp
Mugshots has several things going for it, one of which is space. There are enough tables and couches of various sizes that you never feel like your group cant stay due to lack of space, which happens a lot at other local establishments. Most important of all, they make the best london fog in town. They also have both almond and soy milk available. Mugshots makes the vast majority of their food in house. The gigantic muffins are fresh every morning and oh-so-delicious. Flavours include pumpkin chocolate chip, blueberry mango and white chocolate blueberry. Yum! There are generous servings of all day breakfast and fresh daily soups. The wifi requires a Shaw login, however it's perfect if you're attempting to study offline, like I am currently.

Yelp
Friendly staff. We walked in five minutes till closing and they happily brewed ice tea with a smile when a everything looked ready to be locked up at the end of the day.

Yelp
I have only been here once and that was enough to know I am never going back. There were two people sitting on the deck outside...it was not busy here at all. I ordered a coffee that I had to pump myself. ( which was no problem). There were 6 canisters of coffee. 4 were empty, the rest were cold...I don't mean luke warm, I mean cold. I asked for a new coffee...the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes and put out one new canister. This one was half warm and full. I went to put in the cream and the two creamers were empty, no spoons clean ( loads in the dirty bin)... when I asked for cream, I received another eye roll. I told the girl never mind and ordered an iced latte. This latte was 6$ and was horrible! It took the girl forever to make it...she was too busy talking to the other server about their weekend... Under the main counter they had salads, sandwiches and cookies...the salads looked watery and wilted.....not fresh at all.... I can only say as a local establishment, I expected better service and at the very least a hot coffee....will not be returning

Yelp
My wife and I love to have lunch here. The soups are to die for, all home made. All day breakfast is awesome too.
