To me the location is perfect. 15 min to beach and kitesurfing, walking distance to nice restaurants, cafés and bars for the evening. Clean, nice rooms. Also a nice pool with ocean view and bar. All at a great-value price. I always stay here when kitesurfing in Mui Ne. Highly recommend it 👍

Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable there at all. It's not worth walking up and down the strenuous mountains to the hotel several times a day, because there is no particularly beautiful or worth seeing view from the balcony. When we were shown to our room and I opened the toilet lid, I saw a completely disgusting old toilet that you wouldn't want to sit on. It also looked as if it had not been cleaned. When I opened the garbage, I not only saw the previous owner's garbage but also two cockroaches!!! When we looked around the rest of the room we saw two more cockroaches!!! We complained and the security man kindly killed the cockroaches and we were given a new room. There were no cockroaches there, but we had still a bad feeling. Instead there were ants (in bed!). When we woke up the next day we saw them scattered around the bed. You can't call the mattress a mattress. You can't only hear the springs but also notice them as soon as you lie down or sit up. The pool made a good impression at first glance but I can't understand why party music is played there at full volume from the morning onwards. It would be nicer without music or with quiet music, then maybe guests would lie down there. This hotel needs at least more cleanliness, new toilet lids, and new mattresses but I'm sure there are better places to stay for the same price.

The room had a terrible sewage smell, making it extremely unpleasant to stay inside. The room itself wasn’t great, and large cockroaches were running around. On the plus side, there was a pool and a nice view from the balcony.

The price is unbeatable but that was just how they get you to book, from the outside the place was very nice for the price you pay, but as you get there, you realize it was located deep inside an alley and most drivers refuse to take you all the way thru, so you had to carry your stuffs and walk a little further, if you check out after mid night like me, the alley was dark, no street lights, lots of stray dogs, very hard to navigate. As I got up a steep hill, I found the hotel, then I finally checked in to my room, I gotta say the room was spacious and clean on the first night, then I realized the toilet seat needed to be replaced as it was damaged like someone stomped on it so many times, anything from soaps to toothpaste only available by request from the front desk, same with the hair dryers, also flip flops. The second night I found ants and roaches in the room, the balcony has a hammock but just the frame, a lot of cigarette buds, it seems the place used to be crowded with people but has been abandoned for a while with little maintenance. Especially the wifi, I can’t get it to work in my room, the signal was so weak, and I can’t get much help at night besides the old security guard, I felt really bad to bother him every time I had an issue in my room, because he doesn’t know much either. They have a pool, but no lifeguard, they have a gym somewhere, not sure If I wanted to try; they had a bar located next to the pool, but they do not provide complimentary breakfast, you have to buy them, and it’s not a buffet either, what you paid is what you get right, I can’t complain. I wish them the best, I guess it was off seasons so the tourists have not come yet, I am sure it will improve, but the other reviews might said otherwise

Reply to hostels response: We were not upgraded and if we were, no one made us aware of this. Id hate to think what the room we were supposed to be in would be like if that was an upgrade! The room was never cleaned, please do not lie. Every other hostel or hotel we have stayed in throughout Vietnam ALWAYS replaces the towels and cleans the room, it is a disgrace to have cleaners and not do the bare minimum. We should not have to ask for our room to be cleaned!! If you are looking for a place with liveliness and other people, do not book here. The place has good potential as it used to be a Mad Monkeys hostel and its fairly big but it feels like you are in an abandoned resort due to no other people being there- Its quite depressing. We paid extra to stay in the private room for our 2 night stay and not once was our room cleaned or towels replaced. I don't understand why the staff would not prioritise cleaning/ replacing towels for the only guests they have. The sand dunes are nearly an hour away from the hostel which we wished we researched more before booking. The hostel is up a steep hill and at the bottom of that hill, there is nothing to do (unless you want to sit in a cafe all day everyday). The hostel advertises how the beach is only a short walk away, but I dont know why they mention the beach as it is disgusting to say the least. There isn't one bit of the beach that you could walk across, never mind sunbathe with all the rubbish or dare to swim in. Mui Ne in general seems to be a dying out spot for travellers to go and I wouldn't recommend anyone going. The hostel advertises that they have 3 swimming pools, but only the nain one is accessible as the rest of them are filthy. If you are looking to stay in an empty hostel and do nothing but read books/ swim in the pool then this would be the ideal location- but remember to bring your own travel wash to clean the towels and bed sheets yourself!

We stayed for two nights in July and there were basically no other guests which made it a bit spooky. The beds were not comfortable and most of the furniture was very worn. The view from the hotel’s pool area is good but the way up to the hotel is not pretty with lots of stray dogs.

We booked a private room and got a free upgrade, which we were happy with! Spacious, clean room and right next to the pool. Staff were nice and friendly and we booked the sand dunes tour through them. Some restaurants at the bottom of the hill. ||Only problem was there was a LOT of ants in our room, but once reported to reception the security guy came and sprayed them, didn’t have a problem with them again, however, no one came to clean up all the dead ants.

The room was good you have a lot of space and very clean. Also the Pool was amazing. Bed was so uncomfortable and the Bliss Restaurant looks very cute but the Price was so high for a very small portion. We complained and ask for more but they just ignore us so it was very unfortunate.
