I really like their passport notebooks, I've bought a dozen of them at least. Good quality and reasonably priced paper products in general. Their brush pen is very soft and takes some getting used to, but that's user error on my part since I have no prior experience with calligraphy.

Fan of Muji. When I shop there, it feels like therapy. They very clean and calm vibe, which I love 🥰 I love their quality.

Arrived here on Sunday morning right at opening time to get a gift for my niece before traveling to see her. To my surprise, several employees were standing outside of the locked store waiting to be let in. I waited and waited waiting and gave up. Ran an errand nearby and returned 20 minutes later to see the same employees stuck outside. They weren’t even able to give me an estimate of when the person with the key would be coming. I assume some dire circumstance but you would imagine there are some safeguards. Didn’t have time to go to another Muji before seeing my niece sadly.

This is a typical Muji store with similar products and selections.

Google
Muji is so convenient. Everything in that store from bedding, toothbrushes, moisturizers for the face, hands and clothing. They also have stationary pens and pencils, coffee, a room where clothes are on sale just in that room. They have men and women’s clothing. They have shelves and dishes. Lots and lots of things out there and they have very good customer service, their dressing room is clean there’s not a lot of dust on the floor where you pick up your trousers and there’s dust on them. They have generous rooms to Try on clothing and there are many of their stores in New York City and if one store doesn’t have the item they will call the other store and give you the directions to get there and hold the item for you as well. Now isn’t that how things should be done? I think so. Enjoy.

This is my favorite store and this is very best store in this zone.

Google
Nothing irks me more than when people hassle and embarrass you to make it seem like they’re doing their jobs. I purchased gigantic plastic drawer units and the employees strapped them for me by the register. They’re so big, that they’re larger than me and I was struggling carrying them. The security guard stops me and asks for receipt and a bunch of other questions. You think I’d be dumb enough to steal these gigantic containers and also have time to use the Uline strapping machine by the register?? Besides that, the location is decent and the employees were nice. However, why would you ask a customer if they want a receipt (yes or no) knowing that your store has security who asks to see receipt by the door? Doesn't make sense.

Review on Muji Cooper Square: Zero Star. My wife bought three pairs of foot cover socks last Sunday and they are marked size 5-7. When she tried them they were way too small. She wears size 5.5 shoes, so obviously the tags on the socks were not correct. So we went back today, a week later, and asked for exchange. The cashier referred me to their manager and the manager refused flat out to exchange the pair my wife tried. The lady manager said she could only exchange the two pairs my wife didn't try. Her reason for not exchanging the one my wife tried with the larger size (7.5-10) was because the tag was removed. My wife asked how she would know if she didn't try it and how she could try it without removing the tag? The manager kept saying it was a store policy. This would never happen with other stores such as H&M, GAP, Nordstrom, e.g. If this is in fact Muji's store policy, it is extremely short-sighted thinking, and needs to be changed. We love the store and its product and have been their regular customer for years and now We are thinking of not going back.

Yelp
Passed by this Muji location just walking back to subway/making my way back to Rockefeller plaza. Pleasantly surprised by the massive selection of organizational goods and Japanese lifestyle/office/home products. Was there shortly before closing, and staff were friendly and did not rush customers to pay and to get out. Store was clean and well maintained. Everything seemed to be stocked, and staff answered questions about where to locate products and which ones were their favorites.

Yelp
This store is so relaxing and fun! They have a bunch of cute stationary items, as well as home goods, clothes, etc. The artly machine near the cashiers can make numerous cofees! The service is great. The items are pretty pricey, but everything is made well!

Yelp
I'm a big fan of MUJI since 2019. The design is clean, simple and considerate. Every time I use their product I can find the details that's really root in customer experience. I usually buy personal care tools from MUJI. Such as nail clippers, brush, and eyelash curler. It's cheap and exceed the value I'm paying for. Usually I spent $100 per visit. Will keep supporting MUJI!

Yelp
Great customer service. Quality of linen and warehouse material. Beautiful items to decorate house, kitchen, bathroom and others. A little pricey but excellent materials.

Yelp
The people here are lovely and are ready if needed with anything. The items here are beautiful and reasonably priced. I absolutely love coming here every visit to NYC. such a wide selection of items and sizes of things. Definitely somewhere I repeat often.

Yelp
I love coming to Muji for small stationary knick knacks as well as browsing through their clothing section and kitchenware section. The moment you step into Muji, you're immediately enveloped in strong and calming scents usually being misted throughout the store by their humidifier. Immediately past their humidifier station they have an assortment of bathroom necessities as well as stationary. I typically find myself here when the new school year starts and I have to stock up on paper, pens, and pencils again. Muji carries high quality paper and writing utensils that I live and breathe by. I love carrying a stack of their loose leaf paper and their low center of gravity mechanical pencil. It is definitely my absolute favorite mechanical pencil ever. In addition to stationary, their kitchenware and appliances are top tier. The sleek and small design makes it optimal to preserve space, an essential for small homes/apartments or in general as the clean design is hard to pass on. Overall, Muji is definitely a great place to shop for home essentials. Their products are made exceptionally well and have yet to disappoint:)

Yelp
Muji has amazing product but I was disappointed that as a chain they don't do any shipping from their store. I asked and said yes but they were talking about their website which doesn't have the same inventory as this store. On the other hand, the Japanese stores are excellent. And I have good memories of their Paris shop. But the American shops don't have the same groove as the others. Perhaps the American management has issues of some sort. Still, Muji is an unique experience and I make sure I'm surrounded by their merchandise at my home.

Yelp
Mini is a smaller store that has some household goods and some clothes. The prices are ok. I hadn't been in this location, but I'd go back if I was in the area and needed something from them.

Yelp
Very excited to come to a muji store. Which sells austere Japanese household items. I purchased some pens but I can't wait to purchase more household items online. My gripe is that they are not always selling what they are advertising. Some of the colored pens on display are very very different than what is being sold. This also goes for packs of pens which are on display but not even sold through the entire store or on the web for that matter. I bought 3 packs of black 0.38 pens, a couple of highlighters, A couple of multicolored pens (only size 0.7 though) and scissors. It was about $70.

Yelp
MUJI is a Japanese shop that offers household goods, decor, clothing wear, makeup, lotions, stationery, pens/pencils, and snacks. I actually prefer this location over than than SoHo's, as the items seem to be laid out more strategically and in a more organized way. I absolutely love playing around with their cute stamps (especially the rib-cage tank and the T-shirt!; you can actually use these on purchased stationery/books to personalize it) and checking out their home items (love their toothbrush holder!). My most recent favorite product is their Body Fit Cushion - it's a bean bag but it is SO soft and super comfortable! Probably one of the best bean bag chairs I've had a pleasure to sit on! It comes in a variety of colors, and the covers are included! We stopped by to pick up some bathroom accessories as well as pair of umbrellas. Great place to check out to stock up on stuff at great prices. +Japanese goods at reasonable prices +Body Fit Cushion :D +friendly staff :D

Yelp
I just stopped by this evening to buy a toothbrush. When I opened the box to confirm the color (it was labeled "grey" but was really translucent; the grey brush was labeled "blue") I got a lecture from a harried, bespectacled young woman who was restocking, presumably hurrying because the store was about to close. When I tried to explain she started talking over me in an irritating tone, so I just walked away. I've always come to this store because I live in the neighborhood and want to support the people who work in it, even if it's for a huge chain. But why bother when they're so annoying? I can just order muji through Amazon, and now will.

Yelp
I really wanted some new essential oils, but didn't want to purchase them online. This Muji has all of the essentials oils. I ended up getting the grapefruit and the relaxed (lavender + citrus) one. So happy with my purchase and excited to use them! Tip: Students get a discount if you show them your ID.

Yelp
If I can give it a negative star, I will. Bought a humidifier, final sale, yes, but with a oke year warranty. last 1 week, then stopped working. Basically On and off. Understand its a final sale, called the store manager and explained what's the issue, the manager said, yes, bring it back and we will return it. So I went to the store, first a staff asked me 5 questions trying to justify that, oh it still works, since when you found out its not working, how did you use it, did you wait for a few minutes, balabala. Then they said they need to test it out... wow! Since when store staff became the technician to determine if a humidifier is broken or not?? Of course it works now, but it won't after 15 minutes, and I won't wait there like a dummy until it breaks... Left the machine there and gave up. That's not the way you do business. terrible.

Yelp
I'm must really be that simple for this 5 Star review but I really don't care. For starters, the store was clean. Everything was in order and nothing seemed out of place and I was all over the place looking and liking. With a high traffic location and affordable goods, I was surprised and how nice the store looked. It was not messy. The ambiance was right too. It smelled nice but not overpowering. I can't remember what they were using but it was just right. The music was not too loud neither. It was just there. Some places do too much with their play lists and that makes me want to get in and out. I am for anyplace selling me a cardigan in Spring and Summer. If I can do that I'm happy with life. After picking out my cardigan I checked out some of the other clothes and found them to be sleek and stylish. As someone that came of age when brands and logos were stamped all over baggy clothes, I love the Japanese minimalism which I am sure is probably passé over there but it works for me here. And then I purchased some kelp to snack on and a bath sponge off G.P. I know the items aren't the best quality but sometimes plain things go a long way for simple people. MUJI!
google avatar

Kyle J.

Yelp
This place was an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I really felt transported! It smelled amazing and the quiet music was very peaceful. The workers were kind and ready to answer any questions. I bought some bed linens and stationary supplies, and want to return for some of their skincare items. Keep an eye out for good deals! Some of the bed linens were 50% off which made them very affordable!

Yelp
3.5 stars,?!?!?! MUJI is the holy crawl of stationeries - Inexpensive - They have the best highlighters known to man - This Location in particular is my favorite to come to. Never too crowded, Staff is always amazing - they tend to run out of supplies but you can always go online & buy it - I used to always shop at Blink for pens/highlighters etc but once I found out about MUJI that was over with

Yelp
When I was at work a few weeks ago, an office assistant and I were talking about pens (I'm not sure how we got there) and she asked if I have ever been to MUJI. She wrote me a post-it note saying "get the .25 black pens, they are life" and she wasn't kidding. They really are life. MUJI is so neat, clean, minimalistic and quality. I love stationery so I dashed right to that section. I love it. I purchased three of the .25 mm pens (one for myself, one for sis, another for a friend), a 0.5 mm mint pen, and a pack of black 0.5 gel pens. Maybe I shouldn't share this on here or have shared via Instagram because they had ZERO BLACK .25 mm pens today when I went to purchase two more of those .25 mm pens and the pack of 0.5 pens :( I got the dark blue .25 ones. The power and control you exhibit when you write with it is incredible. The clothing section looks really nice, comfy, and stylish. They have flannel, vests, comfy sweaters, and jackets (a bit pricey though). Will definitely be coming back to visit the whole store and get more pens in the near future :)

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite Muji location in the city. Not only is the store expansive, with two levels, but the space is rarely overcrowded. This combined with the wonderful lavender fragrance in the air truly makes the shopping experience relaxing and divine. A staff member is always posted at the door to help you and there are plenty milling about, eager to answer your questions of help you find whatever you're looking for.

Susan P.

Yelp
I still like some of Muji's products but with other comparable choices, I doubt that I will return to this location namely because of the security guards breathing down our necks while we were browsing on a few occasions. Our shopping experience was ruined by that. Sayonara Muji.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
If you're into a minimalist Japanese aesthetic, you'll enjoy Muji. They have all sorts of organizational tools as well as very basic home goods and clothing. You'd probably be pretty bored if every item in your home and closet were from Muji, but they do a good job at supplying certain very helpful items! My personal favorites include their little toothbrush holders (great for storing the interchangeable electric toothbrush heads in my house), drawer organizers, acrylic stacking drawers for small items and jewelry, and their oil diffusers. I think some items are a bit overpriced (for example, their dishware collection), but if you find that perfect item that you need in your house it's worth it!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Decent selection of stationary, home goods and clothing. I've always been a fan of muji and this location met my expectations. The workers are so friendly and when they saw me waiting in line, they opened up a register so they could assist me! This location occasionally has 30% off of their clothing and that's when I buy all my flannels! But really, the best product is their muji pen. Ask any college student, asian girl or human being and they will tell you that the 0.38 muji black pen DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. I can literally feel my hand writing become even neater when I use this pen. I put my boyfriend on to this pen and now he pesters me to buy him new ones everytime he finishes up the ink. Muji specializes in simplicity and being minimalistic which is its best selling point, I like how I don't feel overstimulated when I shop there.

Yelp
I bought a bed, pillows & covers, and some throws (cotton & linen) that are easy and kind designs. I noticed this visit, some kitchen tools. I rushed to look for what I had been looking for, an tiny whisk, that often use to mix small things: potato powder to finish up to create creaminess to my dishes (Chinese food mostly) and an egg or salad dressing for one or two. This tiny whisk quickly mix anything fast. I also bought long cooking chopsticks, silicon tips help to pick up much easier than usual bamboo material and it's in a black color. Oh!, I shouldn't forget about this amazing makeup pencil sharpener, no breaking but clean finish. I've been using MAC and many others but this one has been a reliable one. Lastly, another small but very useful kitchen tool, daikon grader & slicer (white). Not only good for radish but any root vegetables, like Caribbean yams. It easily make those roots to creamy gooey things. I haven't used the slicer yet but I am sure it is easy to use. I almost forgot that the bottom of grader or slicer is a container to keep everything you worked on. Last Christmas, I bought some good chopsticks that I wanted to introduce good Japanese chopsticks to my husband's side of new young ones, as one of their Christmas gifts. I asked my friends in Japan to send me some, not MUJI. They were good but after I have seen equally good ones here. I also like MUJI's chopstick designs, simple basic but with a newness. For apparel wise, I only bought a jacket from MUJI once in Ginza, Tokyo. The quality is excellent. The design is simple and easy to wear, but honestly some are too basic for me. If I want basic I opt for Uniqlo. I hope MUJI NYC also carry more food items like in Japan (currently snacks only), variety of easy and delicious instant curries, https://missbonniebrulee.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/dsc04339-large.jpg and soups, and mini ramen to interesting and refreshing drinks, plum apple, arum roots and grapefruits and so on.

Yelp
I'm not so much bothered by their size or their lack of inventory as I am by the fact that a lot of the product prices in the stationery area were mislabeled. For example, my friend and I wanted to build our own pens, and the pricing labels showed that the pen 'bodies' were $4 each and the fillings were $0.75 each. Sort of pricey for a pen, but we figured that since we could customize the pens exactly to our liking, we went for it. However, when we looked at our receipts later, we discovered the bodies were actually $3 each and the fillings were $1.50. That is quite a huge discrepancy!! The pens that we thought would come out to less than $6 each were actually more than $7 each. It's not so much the final price as the principle that bothers me about this whole thing. For such an established business, it is surprising that they are not more careful about labeling their inventory! Anyway, I guess the lesson is that you should probably check with the cashier that your items are all priced the way you expect them to be before you make a purchase.

R M.

Yelp
I was racially profiled upon entrance (I'm black presenting) into the store, and instead of being asked if I needed help with anything, an asian woman with blonde highlights literally just hovered over me and just stared at me. I was very uncomfortable and the staff was next to useless.
google avatar

Irene H.

Yelp
I've been an MUJI addict since the 90s. Each MUJI store is a bit different. This one is pretty big and new, but still didn't have everything I was looking for, so if you're looking for completeness, make sure you check the other stores. They could've been sold out, so who knows. If you live in the usual shoebox of an apartment, it always helps to shop with measurements. I went close to closing time, bought a bunch of things and the staff couldn't have been nicer. My stuff was also packed perfectly for me to hop into a cab. It's also ideally located for those in the EV - no longer need to hop over to Flatiron. The ground floor is all the usual small stuff. You can find furniture on the lower level. After I came home and organized my bathroom, I wondered why I waited so long! **For BIG MUJI fans who will travel to Asia, stuff there is much cheaper!**
google avatar

Sophia C.

Yelp
Shitty customer service. While the floor SA were nice when greeting us upon entering, the woman at the register was not friendly at all. She had the biggest attitude and acted like the customers in the store were wasting her time. I came in for one thing and that was the acrylic drawers. The clothes were overpriced and some items in the skincare beauty section were mis-labled. I wont visit this location again. I will visit the other locations in the area or order online.
google avatar

Yelp
Muji Cooper Square is the newest location and really well done. Two stories of everything you need to get organized. My only complaint is that they don't deliver. Unlike Container Store or Bed Bath and Beyond, the delivery policy as relayed to me was that I could FedEx my purchase twenty blocks to my home. I wanted to purchase 16 sets of dishware which I obviously didn't want to lug home on the subway or in a cab. Instead, I went to their online store to place my order and found that I couldn't fulfill my complete order. I ordered the most of what I could get for each item and then will have to fill the rest from physical locations. I'm just hoping that I can do that in one store and not run around from store to store. Muji has beautiful items to get your home organized and a great alternative to the usual Big Box stores.
google avatar

Corinna B.

Yelp
First off: I just love Muji! Their store near Bryant Park is one of the nicest ones I've ever been to. However, the Cooper Square one is pretty small and obviously doesn't carry the variety of items that a bigger one does. It's good for office supplies and some of the smaller boxes. For anything else I'd recommend going to a bigger store though. Tip: They sometimes have sales on certain items, like last week when make-up boxes were 20% off.

Yelp
Muji outside of the US has a very good name, but here in NY, they're working very hard at being bad. The store is dirty, a decent layer of dust covers pretty much every display case, shelf etc. The prices abroad are usually very affordable, yet somehow, in the move to NYC, they are quite jaw dropping, and nothing here seems to be made in Japan. Muji is a Japanese company that prides itself in its traditionally Japanese customer service, yet this location is staffed entirely by non-Japanese, who's emphasis is on anything BUT customer service - and that is very prevalent at this location. If you want customer service, go elsewhere, as in another city at least, or possibly another country. I ordered two thousand dollars worth of sofa and everything needed to make it look like one (Muji nickle and dimes you to death with things like covers and feet being extra) and when they didn't have all the parts, only after being prompted did the sales person even begin to cough up a very stingy discount on the parts that were not available. Then, in the middle of the transaction, he switched to another customer for ten minutes while we stood there with that "WTF?" look on our faces. No apologies later, he came back to us and began to arrange delivery, which was another $200 to Brooklyn(!!!). 2 grand, and they don't even offer a discount on delivery, let alone free delivery! See what I mean by nickle and dime you to death? The delivery company isn't even part of Muji, they're just some guy with a van that they call. If you want, you can pick your merch up at their warehouse, but who the hell has a car big enough to fit a sofa and ottoman in the city??? Delivery was pushed back a week suddenly as the warehouse decided to be closed on the day they were supposed to release our merch. When the delivery finally happened, it was abrupt and unceremonious - just business. Once we opened the boxes to begin the long assembly process (Ikea, eat your heart out!), we noticed the ottoman cover was missing. I called up the store at Cooper Union and got probably the most unintelligent person in the City. I honestly doubt she can chew gum and breathe at the same time. Needless to say, she never shipped out the ottoman cover. I called back a week later to inquire about it, and yup, it was sitting there at the store. "You can come pick it up whenever you want" said the sales kid on the phone. After explaining that it was supposed to be SHIPPED to us, he eeked out a quick "sorry" and promised that it'd be delivered in 4-5 business days, which it was - with my name butchered on the address label, even though I S-P-E-L-L-E-D it out twice. Sigh... I guess I don't have to say that we're not at ALL impressed with Muji, their employees, or their prices. The couch worked out okay, but after all that money spent, and all that time spent in the store and on the phone, it really wasn't worth it. Disappointment.

Yelp
Muji be lk these lil scissors r white n minimalist and will help you to achieve peace on the homefront/workfront white cutting, but then you realize they're U$6.53 in NY and ¥350/U$3.12 in Japan while cutting and then yr lk nah Muji's overrated n these scissors r ごみ.

Yelp
Little cute shop with bunch of little stuffs I am sure girls love it than the boys ! They have sales going on her shirts & Summer items ! Great price on cool casuals.Stationeries also have good line ups.

Yelp
Nothing special about muji store. One of the smaller stores we've seen but everything was well maintained and organized. Not too many people when we were there so it wasn't hard to navigate the aisles. Nice place to rest a little if you are exploring the city quite a bit.

Anna K.

Yelp
The staff look angry/upset and talk rudely about the customers the moment the customers leave the vicinity. The worker by the door did not greet customers because he was too busy talking to another worker. Cashier seemed bored and unfriendly. Dirty items are up for display. Good selection for snacks. Stationary section was well-stocked.
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
Ridiculously over-priced comparing with Muji stores in Japan. And the product selection is really bad. My advice? Go to Japan to visit the Muji there - 100 times better.
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
Love this place. Glad they got one in LA finally. Great service and nicely set up. Their products are simple and useful. Their clothes are nice staple items.
google avatar

Terrence L.

Yelp
If you're into good design and minimalist aesthetics, you should look no further. Muji is totally the place for you. Here, you can find a range of furniture, home ware, clothing, and even luggage?!?! Oh wow. I came in to buy a pair of chopsticks the other day and I was in and out in less than 3 mins. Customer service is fairly efficient, and they have a basement level where they sell bulkier furniture items. What I do miss in this store is the food that they have in other outlets.
google avatar

Lizi C.

Yelp
Always worth a quick browse. It's one of my favorite places to purchase cheap pens and pencils. If your looking for ergonomic and simple ways to organize your New York City apartment MUJI also has nice ideas and products. I think of it as a cross between the Container Store, an expensive IKEA that also happens to sell clothing.
google avatar

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Muji stores always make me feel like I'm a walking train wreck- everything is so so so neat and tidy-it is a stark comparison to my lifestyle. Aspirational organization. Anyways, nice assortment of clothing, home, and stationary items. Furniture is downstairs!

Yelp
For reference, I am a huge Muji fan. I've been to Mujis in Japan, Taiwan, China, LA, and New York. Obviously you can't compare Mujis in Asia compared to the ones in the States, but that doesn't mean that you can't get good stuff here! This particular branch compared to the other Muji stores in America is definitely the worst. The selection is so minimal compared to the others. Not as many notebooks, smaller travel selection, and only 3 different types of snacks - and very few of them. Also, the staff is not very competent... Anyways, if you want to go to a Muji in NYC, go to the branch on 8th Ave.

Yelp
It's a pretty small muji space here - compared to the other locations I've been in. Also, the workers seemed pretty clueless about the merchandise. I wouldn't come here if I wanted a large variety of items, since this place lacks some of the essentials.

Yelp
I love this Muji! The atmosphere is minimalist, quiet and relaxing whenever I shop here and the cashiers are very nice as well. It is a nice place to browse and get some ideas on how to arrange your home/space. I really only buy the stationary and essence oils so i'm not sure what their other products are like. I think I almost have every color in the 0.38/0.5mm pens. They are great for drawing and basic illustration sketch work.

Yelp
A Japanese Ikea!!! Cute things and there was a really good sale going on during this time. This place looks like it comes out of a movie, just crisp and clean. I felt weird picking things up, I felt like it needed to go back exactly where I picked it up from. I picked up some cute office supplies for my friend, who is obsessed with all things Japanese and we don't have this store in Atlanta, so I thought it best to try and pick up things. I did sign up for their email list, which is funny because I won't be by the store anytime soon.

Yelp
Friendly staff and unique japanese products. Very simplistics. Prices are reasonable. A group of us went here during January and it was VERY cold.. and Muji had a great sale on some nice mittens. We all bought a few pairs and used them right away!.

Yelp
Great place with a lot of cool Japanese stuff! I went to the one near the Astor Place in New York. Not only it's a Japanese store but also has a zen-like spiritual tranquility haha!

Yelp
The beauty of muji is that you can get everything you need in one stop - notebooks, pens, socks, clocks, mugs, pens, and even furniture- for good quality and great prices.

Yelp
I love the merchandise and prices but will not return to this location because of the poor customer service. Yesterday, the cashier accidentally gave me the wrong change. I pointed this out immediately and then, searched through my bag etc. I was carrying a lot of stuff and wanted to be sure. The manager was visibly cross and dismissively told me to move out of the way. I stood to the side, waiting and waiting, wondering what was going on while the line of customers built up - all of them trying to figure out the same, and some giving me dirty looks because, I guess, they assumed I was the reason for the holdup. Finally, I realized the manager was counting the entire cash drawer out. All that for $3? I decided to walk away from the area because I was embarrassed for myself, the cashier and everyone. I should have just walked out of the store but I knew I didn't have that $3 on me. Finally, the manager brought me the 3 dollars and with a sickeningly sweet, fake smile, said sorry. Maybe this is the Muji policy, to count out your entire drawer, in which case, you explain to the customer what you must do, and ask them politely to bear with you. You don't treat them like a criminal until you find out that oops, you made a mistake. This person should not be working in customer service or managing people.

Yelp
What a dump. I thought I'd support them as they are near where I live and I'd heard positive things about them. I bought some plates and decided they were too small so I returned them. I never used them and they said that I had, basically calling me a liar, which I am not. The plates were totally unused and they refused me a refund. I left the plates there and the bitch behind the counter then told me I had to take them, which was ridiculous as I had no use for them. So I walked out, never to return. The moral being: if you think you might need to return something Muji is not for you. Besides which their stuff is very plain and unimaginative.
