Muku Hair Dalston

Yuko has cut my hair three times now and she always does such a great job. Very few hairdressers have ever really been able to work with my superfine texture but she completely understands how it works and delivers the best cut for it every time. She’s also such a lovely person - she’s happy to chat and takes an interest but is never intrusive or pushy. The salon itself is lovely too - a great, happy but relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful haven in dusty Dalston. Also incredibly good value for the quality of the service, compared with other salons of the same standard

I had my hair done with Rueben yesterday and had the most amazing experience. He is such a kind and interesting soul and he had me laughing the whole appointment. He listened to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond my expectations. I’ve gotten sooo many compliments on my hair and even had people asking where I got it done. Really great experienxe at Muku - as seen on time. The salon is super chill and relaxing. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Felt like she actually listened to what I wanted but also suggested what she thought would work nicely too without pressure. Fantastic wash, head massage and cut. All for a great price!

I had my hair cut by Ruben a few weeks ago. Much shorter than it was previously. I have cut my hair short many times but this is one of my absolute favourite haircuts, it barely even needs to be styled since it’s such a great cut! Can’t recommend enough. ❤️

Susana is a superb stylist and all the team are super friendly. I’ve been having my hair coloured there for over 5 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great mix of products available too.

Always a pleasure to come to the Dalston for a cut and colour by Ikkei! The salon is friendly, comfortable and filled with gorgeous plants. The music and chat is always relaxing. And I walk away feeling like a million dollars!

If I can give 100 stars to Ruben, I will. He is the only hairdresser that can do wonders to my hair. I have ultra dark asian hair and always have difficulty finding a hairdresser that can actually achieve the colour that I want. Im so happy I met such a talented person and a warm hearted one too.
