We found Mulberry & Prince on TikTok and decided to give it a try — and I’m glad we did. The space has a great vibe and made for a lovely brunch spot. I had the chicken muffin, which was very tasty and the fried chicken was cooked perfectly, though it was awkward to eat out of the basket it came in — a plate would’ve been better. My boyfriend had the Turkish eggs, which he said were excellent, though the portion was small for the price. We also shared the pretty toasty, which was delicious and came with fresh fruit — appreciated this. Overall, the food was great but pricey; we spent R848 (most dishes are around R230) for two people, three dishes, and a coffee. Still, it’s a stylish spot worth visiting for a quality brunch in Cape Town.

This spot is a must. The pancakes were on another level — thick, fluffy with just the right sweetness. The Turkish eggs were pure perfection — silky poached eggs over cool, tangy yogurt the mix of textures and flavors was unreal. Minimal, cozy, and effortlessly chic —

Omg!!! The latte and mimosa were so good. Like 10/10 on that alone However, overall, the experience was very lackluster just look at the eggs. They were not done like I asked them to be. Also, the chicken came with too much butter on top of it made it really soggy, but they were kind enough to make me a new piece of chicken that I’m going to be paying for. Based on other reviews, I was excited to try this place, but after waiting for more than an hour after being seated at the bar I’m shocked at how the experience turned out.

This restaurant is super cute, and one of my favorite places to eat in Cape Town! My favorite meal was definitely the shally pancakes. It has sliced bananas between the layers of pancakes and on top. It also had raspberries and bananas on top with a little powdered sugar and a sweet butter on top. My family loved the chicken and waffles, blueberry pancakes, and the cinnamon swirl pancakes. The spicy beef sausage as a side was good as well. Be sure to book a table before you go ( super easy to do so on their website!) The atmosphere is lovely and the woman who greets you at the door is very friendly along with the staff! Great service all around and is a must visit while in Cape Town! Can’t say enough great things about this place! I truly enjoy it!

First time visiting this cute little breakfast spot. We were welcomed with friendly staff on arrival and seated in no time. The menu consists of a variety of dishes to choose from and the foods are fully halaal. The wait for our food was not long and each dish was very well presented and was packed with so much flavour. The Pretty French dish which consisted of French toast, hazelnut chocolate spread, vanilla bean ice cream and a generous amount of different berries was the star of the show. Definitely the best French toast I have ever tasted. Will definitely revisit again. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work guys.

Beautiful brunch spot in the heart of the city with interesting menu options. The strawberry matcha iced latte was delicious and the turkish eggs were flavourful and yummy! My husband had the pancakes and thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu options are on the pricey side, which makes this a place for special breakfast and brunch dates.

Whilst the food is nice, it’s without a doubt overpriced. I paid R100 for my matcha with boba then the chicken and waffles were over R200. Super steep for something pretty basic. The cherry on top was the rude manager. He basically got our waitress (who was lovely and very clearly fearfully following orders given to her) to chase us out whilst we didn’t finish our food or drink because apparently the table was reserved. We were seated there for not more than 90 minutes, but waited for over 45 minutes whilst standing. Appalling behaviour from him, yet there were other tables available plus no one came to it whilst we waited outside, it remained empty for at least 15 minutes thereafter. Believe the other reviews about the service – they aren’t exaggerating, unfortunately. PS. It is extremely noisy in there. Everyone was leaning in because it’s so incredibly difficult to hear the person right next to you.

I cannot wait to return! I've had the morrocan egg breakfast and the blueberry pancakes..... absolutely delicious! Liam, our waiter, was amazing! Each warm beverage has a different pattern, which I found delightful. Everyone wants to be here, so make a booking via Dineplan.
