Mullae Artist Village

Save your time and energy and skip this spot. Not much to see here. It’s being falsely advertised as an up and coming artistic hotspot, but it’s not quite there yet. Just a bunch of steel factories with some coffee shops scattered between them. A few galleries as well but most are not open to the public. For fans of industrial aesthetics, you could snap some interesting photos here, but nothing too special that justifies a specific visit to the area.

nice area to walk around. I came on a Sunday, it was very quiet. Mostly coffee places and restaurants, saw some creative spaces, but they weren't open. Street art/ graffiti was around but not too special. Had coffee in a bakery called Rust, nice old factory building. I hope they will add some places other than coffee shops.

LOVED this neighborhood. One of my favorite areas in Seoul. I went on a Sunday when the small factories were closed so you could easily walk down the alleys. So much cool art, interesting looking bars and restaurants. It did NOT feel touristy with mostly local families out for Sunday lunch/brunch. One of my favorite areas.

Mullae Art Village is a hidden gem in Seoul. It’s such a unique blend of an industrial setting mixed with vibrant street art and cozy cafes. The contrast between the old factories and the creative atmosphere makes it a one-of-a-kind place to explore. On weekdays, it’s wonderfully quiet, making it perfect for a peaceful walk or a cafe-hopping adventure. There are plenty of food options around, with prices ranging from 10-20 per person, so it’s easy to find something that suits your taste and budget. Definitely a great spot for anyone looking for something off the beaten path in the city!

Interesting location off the beaten track that has a certain kind of vibe which I am sure is great at the night time. Great food choices and also some nice bars but surely the opposite to Gangnam or Hongdae

Small alleys you would dare not walk through in the US, but encourage to do so here. You’ll find great hole in the wall shops, young people enjoying food and new discoveries. Chill place to find coffee or music bar.

It felt authentic with many original workshops and steelworks still in place. Between them are small cafes, restaurants and pubs, and galleries. It ia fun to explore alleys.
