It's sad. You are learning mainly about how the Catalon people were killed and crushed, put into concentration camps or escaped to South America. There is also mention of other displaced people around the world.

Excellent museum that captures the experience of the exiles perfectly in art, artifacts and stories. 100% worth the money with options for narration in many languages. Would highly highly recommend if you are in the area at all, even worth going out of your way for. Would not give this a miss.

Great museum dedicated to the only 14 days which the border was open between Barcelona city's fall under Franco's troupe control and when Franco's troupe arrived to the French border closing it to people who tried to leave the dictatorial Franco period. That was since 26 January 1936 and 10 February 1936.

Very interesting and well presented/modern information. I knew about the Spanish civil war but not the Diaspora resulting from it

Interesting museum. It is a picture from a horrible time. History repertoire in Oekraïne. People, young and old have to flee.

A must see for those who know something and nothing of the Spanish Civil War
