Mumtaz Mahal in Muscat is undeniably a feast for the eyes with its stunning interiors and captivating ambience—perfect for impressing clients or hosting a fancy evening out. However, the experience falls short where it matters most. The food is, frankly, mediocre, with portions so small they leave you wanting. The naan? The tiniest I’ve ever seen, almost a culinary crime! Service is just okay, not matching the hype or the hefty price tag.
As a local Muscatian, I find it hard to justify the cost for what’s offered. This is a one-time-visit kind of place, more suited for business entertainment than a go-to dining spot. Sorry, folks, but I can’t recommend it—there are better options out there for the price.
Good luck.
