A surprisingly decent restaurant with reasonable prices right at the beach. Perfect for a lunch on a beach day. A lot of space to seat in the shadow with a beautiful view of the sea. The service was friendly but slow and chaotic. The food and drinks though were great. The restrooms are in a sad state (it they’re is available for beach visitors from the other side of the restaurant also). Would be nice to have them better upkept.

We had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — the fried calamari was crispy and flavorful, perfectly paired with fresh lemon and dipping sauce, and the pasta was rich and cooked to perfection. The view of the sea made it even more special, a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. A special thank you to our waitress, Alexandra, who was exceptional throughout. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Her service truly elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend both the restaurant and Alexandra’s wonderful service — we’ll definitely be back!

Munchies Bar is a typical beachside restaurant in Mellieħa. The food and drinks are okay – nothing special, but fine if you’re already at the beach. It’s convenient for the location, though not a place you’d go out of your way for.

We stopped here for lunch after Googling a good seafood restaurant. This place didn't disappoint; the waiters were friendly and polite, and the food was delicious. We had sauteed muscles for our starters and mixed seafood risotto for the mains. While our daughter has the kid's pasta 🍝, which she loved.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but I have no choice but to give a low rating due to the poor service. The reason is that the glass of lemonade I ordered completely shattered the moment I picked it up. Shockingly, no one apologized or even asked if we were okay. All we kept hearing was, "It's okay," which felt dismissive rather than comforting. One of the managers even said it wasn't their fault and simply walked away. Meanwhile, we were left standing awkwardly as they cleaned the table. Despite asking to be seated at the neighboring table, we were made to wait for quite some time. Eventually, we were seated, but by then, our mood had completely plummeted. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the food itself was very tasty. What I took away from this experience is that if the staff had shown a bit more care and professionalism, they could have left travelers with a much better memory of their visit. After all, for some people, a trip to Malta may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Average food at the sunbed. Avocado salad barely had any avocado and what's was in it was not fresh or tasted weird. s Sea was average too but probably the best sandy place Malta has to offer. Getting or leaving here by bus is risky, they often don't stop, in fact we missed 3 buses who didn't stop here.
