It was a good stay and I especially loved the common breakfast, which is also the time where you get to socialize with other travelers. The location is okay - but definitely at least a 10 minute walk from old town. You should be aware that the hostel is hidden with basically no signboards so it might be a challenge finding it the very first time. I think the quality of the rooms could’ve been better but that’s just my opinion. I’d visit again for sure.

Although they have tried to explain it to me, I don't quite understand the way they work with charging guests for accommodation (something that hasn't happened to me in other hostels). Anyway, it is well located, close to the centre and various transport options. Also, the staff is super lovely, the breakfast is included and quite complete/good, and the rooms are nicely decorated. Points that could be improved: 1. I'm used to go to hostels where each shared room has its own bathroom, so one bathroom (with only one toilet and two showers) for the whole 1st floor seems to me too limited to use between all of us. 2.On the other hand, considering the very low temperatures in Poland in December, the heating was very low and hardly noticeable. Our room was a little bit cold . Still, I would recommend it to anyone, especially for the friendliness, kindness and good vibes of the girls at the reception, the location and the reasonable price.

This hostel is a very nice place to stay! It exceeded my expectations by far and was the nicest hostel I’ve been to yet. The staff is really kind and especially the breakfast is wonderful! You get really good cold food and everyday something different hot, like pancakes or eggs …. Everything is really tasty. The showers and toilets are really clean and the entire vibe is nice Only negative thing are the thin mattresses. If the hostel wants to get even better, they should switch them to something thicker than a 10 cm mattress. In the end I would definitely come back!

A hostel that goes the extra mile for its guests. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly. Rooms and facilities neat and clean. Pancakes at breakfast were delicious. But mostly thank you for allowing me to shower and have a coffee before I could check in after my long train journey. It felt like a home away from home. 10/10

One of the best hostels we've been to! The staff is great and the rooms are nice cool and clean. Same goes for the bathrooms. The rooms are themed after different countries, very nice touch! It's Right in between the center and the Jewish district so everything is easy to reach. The atmosphere in the hostel is great and they have a nice breakfast! The only thing that they could improve are the mattress. They are very thin so my back hurt after sleeping.

The staff is excellent, the girls are so young but so good at what they do and extremely professional and hospitable. They are extremely proactive and ready to help you however possible. I think everyone writes about the breakfast which is true, it's a lavish buffet meal, the guy at the reception made crepes that were the best I've ever had. The hostel is right next to the castle and bang in the center of everything. I even walked to the hostel from the bus station and it was not a bad walk with the luggage, about 20 minutes. The facilities are minimal. There were 6 bunk beds in a small room. The beds are noisy and there's no space in the room. Also there are no table/chairs or any other storage space in the room apart from the locker given under the bed with a small lock and key which I find to be kind of primitive. The whole hostel is kind of old fashioned. Even though the hostel is in a back alley away from the main streets, the people at the hostel were loud and it was not a comfortable stay. Bathrooms were unisex which I don't prefer, they are also very open, and offer less privacy. Each floor has one toilet and 2 showers for about 12 people which I think is less. Bathroom has zero toiletries, not even body wash. Outside is just handwash. I booked dizzy daisy after this hostel and it was like heaven in terms of modernism, space, cleanliness and facilities.

An authentic hostel. I stayed in a private room under the name of Hawaii. The decor was nice and some decorations were truly authentic that I discovered were brought by owner from travelins . The general ambience is amazing. The hostel is clean and looks new( rather say not old as all furniture doors bathrooms function properly). The girl on reception was kind and helpful. The kitchen was clean and had everything that is needed. You can have tea, coffee, pastry, milk for free during the day. The location is great and is just few minutes from the city center. I have got a lovely breakfast where there was eggs salad, bread, eggs, cheese, ham, oat porridge, vegetables. You can feel that it was cooked with love. I absolutely love it!

This is the friendliest hostel I have been to in over 25 years of traveling. Terrific staff. Quick email responses. Beautiful breakfast included as of this writing April 2023. Great showers and bathroom facilities. Cozy. SAFE. Accommodating. I have recommended it to friends.

Yelp
Super nice hostel. Well decorated room and super friendly receptionist who is always ready and wiling to answer all your questions and help you indeed. It feels like home here. The breakfast is included and begins from 8.00. But you can ask also for earlier breakfast if you need and they will prepare it for you. You can take the coffee, fruit, cakes here whenever you want and it's free. So just help yourself. The location is also perfect, just ten minutes walk to the old town square and 15 min from train station. You can also book the trip to salt mine or Auschwitz directly at the reception and the guide will come to pick you up at the hostel. I really like it here!
