Mundo Milo Eco Lodge

We stayed here from June 17-24. Of our 3 week trip, this was by far the best lodging we had! Owners Lieke and Mikael are very involved and attentive, but in a respectful of your space way. Staff is friendly and sweet. We stayed in Persian cabin 2, and it’s very cute. Beds were most comfy here and the meals and drinks were awesome! We even had 3 geckos (they eat bugs and keep their distance) the kids named Larry, Baby Joe, and Squishy. ❤️ The days were beautiful (even in the rainy season) and Lieke knows all the good spots to check out.

Incredible place. The staff is so nice and accommodating. We love spending time here. The food is very good! Pesto Pasta, great coffee, pool area is beautiful.

We loved this place. The hosts are a fantastic couple, they made us feel like as if we were visiting friends. Lieke was super helpful with helping us booking fishing trip or horse riding and giving us lots of useful tips. She accommodated our special diet needs too which was super nice. Their breakfast was really good, pancakes and typical tico foods. The restaurant there was also great. We had a good time and would go back.

We have had a fabulous time at Mundo Milo Ecolodge: superb and imaginative food, great hosting in a gorgeous setting. Thank you to Lieke and Michael for being so generous with your time and local knowledge! We loved the surprise of releasing turtles on the beach, snorkeling at playa blanca and even our day trip to Tamarindo. Hasta luego!

One of my most instrumental and memorable parts of my trip to Costa Rica was spending time at Mundo Milo and the community they naturally build with all guests and neighbors. And enjoying my every meal at their restaurant, which is remarkably good. I highly recommend. Hospitality is 10/10.

This is a review of its restaurant only. It served good non-Costa Rican dishes for those who needed a break from Casados. We had a fish sandwich that was very good and very filling. It came with yucca strips that tasted much better than French fries. If the buns were grilled a bit, then this would have been a great fish sandwich. We also had the grilled fish in coconut curry sauce as well as chicken in the same sauce. They both tasted good, but the chicken can be more tender. The service was very good and the sitting area was quite inviting, at least until attacked by the mosquitos and other small flying creatures. I left in a hurry and forgot to wear long pants and long sleeves, but I will on my next visit

We moved to this lodge after a night at another extremely disappointing location. Wonderful hosts, fabulous food, and very comfortable lodging. Many pleasant conversations with other travelers from all over the world. Highly recommend this lodge. Quiet area with a beautiful beach. Don't miss it when visiting Costa Rica.

We love staying at Mundo Milo. The owners are fabulous and will always do what is in their power to make your stay comfortable. The staff is amazing, warm, friendly and super efficiente. The food is to die for! The best ever.
