Mundo Milo Eco Lodge

I hosted an event at Mundo Milo for five nights, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The service was outstanding, the accommodations were comfortable, and the food was truly remarkable. The owners are hands-on, genuinely caring about their guests, the environment, and the positive impact they make on the local community. The beach is just a short walk away—a beautiful, wide stretch of sand perfect for sunsets, and we were even able to witness the release of baby turtles, which was unforgettable. The on-site restaurant is fantastic with a diverse menu and consistently delicious meals. I highly recommend visiting for dinner or planning a stay. Mundo Milo is truly a special place.

The owners are hands-on and genuinely care about their guests and the local community.||The main beach at Playa Junquillal is just steps away—wide, peaceful, great for sunsets, and perfect for playing in the waves. We even witnessed a baby-turtle release. You can also take a short drive to Playa Blanca and Playa Negra to enjoy more beautiful coastline and a true taste of the local culture. Just be mindful not to leave valuables unattended on any beach.||The on-site restaurant is fantastic with plenty of delicious options. Whether for dinner or an overnight stay, I highly recommend Mundo Milo.

We have been there several times. Our latest was as a large group, a dozen people, with varying needs. The owners were always accommodating, the staff attentive, and the meals/desserts were first class. Thank you so much for our stay!

I have not stayed here, but can attest to the accommodation from friends who have. We go here regularly for the restaurant, and particularly on Tuesday nights during high season when they have sushi night and also have their full menu available, with Tuna steak as the star of the show. The food here is second to none, and I’m saying the meals here could compete with the best of the best, anywhere in the world.

This place is amazing and the food was fresh and fantastic! The service was outstanding. I am gluten intolerant and there were plenty of GF options. Can't recommend this place enough. Would give 10 stars if available! Also, quick walking distance to the beach.

The best hotel if u wanna relax and eat good! Lieke and Michiel are really nice hosts and i had a great time here. Would recommend!

Great value stay in Costa Rica! Great food, wonderful service, friendly atmosphere. Close to nice beaches and beautiful surroundings. Clean and cool.

We stayed here from June 17-24. Of our 3 week trip, this was by far the best lodging we had! Owners Lieke and Mikael are very involved and attentive, but in a respectful of your space way. Staff is friendly and sweet. We stayed in Persian cabin 2, and it’s very cute. Beds were most comfy here and the meals and drinks were awesome! We even had 3 geckos (they eat bugs and keep their distance) the kids named Larry, Baby Joe, and Squishy. ❤️ The days were beautiful (even in the rainy season) and Lieke knows all the good spots to check out.
