We were very impressed by the octopus rice. There was plenty of meat throughout. Then we ordered cocktails and did not expect them to be presented so artistically. Amazing attention to detail.

We ordered the Munganga plate and the local dessert with banana, cheese and cinnamon. The seafood dish was fresh and tasty! The prawn in particular was to die for! The plate could be easily shared for 3 people. The dessert was nice but the combo was too heavy for us! Great customer service specially from Rian. Very thoughtful and friendly. The atmosphere is nice. Beachfront with a deck area but the sitting area with the glasses smell mold!

Beautiful view inside if you can get a table along the patio railing. The food was pricey for lunch, good portions but nothing really that different from what you could get somewhere half the price. Most dishes 80+. You pay for the view.

This place is awesome! It has a great view with a deck that faces the beach, and great food! A bit on the expensive side compared to other local restaurants but it's totally worth it

Yelp
This restaurant sits right on the beach in front of the lighthouse of the beach town of Porto de Galinhas, which is a major tourist destination in the northeast of Brazil. The restaurant is separated into 3 separate seating areas around an open-air courtyard, so you have your choice of different ambiences. The menu seems to have an Italian flair, but seafood is the main attraction. I was really expecting more from both the flavor and the plating, which was rather pedestrian. We started with a seafood gratin, which was pretty good. The main courses were less good...I had fish Fiorentina, which was an overcooked, underseasoned piece of fish covewith mashed potatoes and spinach (neither of which were seasoned at all). The fact that the fish was tiny didn't bother me because it was so tough, but they covered it with so much puree that I was expecting something larger. I'm usually a fan of puree, but not this one. It was still better than the fish. My wife had the Fish & Shrimp à moda do Farol. The shrimp were nicely done, but the fish was a salty as could be and was over-cooked as well. Both main dishes were a disappointment. The check only came to US$56 with the tip, but for Brazil, for the quality of this meal, this was expensive.
