We stayed in the Macdui Master Suite for 3 nights in October and it was wonderful! The suite is on the entry level floor so no need to take bags upstairs. Suite was spacious and wonderful as we recovered from jet lag. Also great to have when an incoming storm (Amy) cut our Trossachs exploration short and we returned to the flat for a relaxing, rainy afternoon.||The "king" bed was smaller than expected - not a true king, more like a queen. Appreciated the bedroom storage, Netflix, coffee supplies, and other thoughtful touches. The decor and color scheme throughout was lovely and made the place feel homey!||Note that this accommodation does NOT include breakfast. This is a self-catering accommodation. Previous reviews mention breakfast but this is no longer offered. There are plenty of dining options in town, though.||We had a car and parking away from the flat was a little inconvenient but not too burdensome. Was nice to park for free on Sunday in front of the flat.||We used the shower and bathtub. Both were excellent. One bit of feedback for the bathtub - a shelf or small table would be appreciated to put a book, towel, phone, bath products, or other things on. The tub is so deep that you can't easily reach down to the floor.||Communication with hosts was great. They were able to accommodate us earlier than 3pm which we were so thankful for after a long overseas flight. The online welcome guide and instructional videos are extremely detailed and helpful when needed. ||There is a very cute whisky bar (Curly Coo) just around the corner - don't miss it! ||We were very comfortable here and would absolutely stay again if our travels bring us back to bonnie Stirling!

We stayed here right after arriving in Scotland. It's an easy drive from the airport. Honestly wish we'd had more time in Stirling. Richard is the most amazing host. We were welcomed with open arms, the kids loved meeting the pup, and our family room was well-appointed, clean beyond measure, and so comfortable. The kids did not want to leave the bunk room! Thank you Richard for lovely conversation, a wonderful breakfast, great recommendations for our trip. Can't say enough good things. We'll be back! Including a cute photo of our kiddos walking down to breakfast.

We stayed at Munro Guest House for one night on our way to Glencoe. We arrived via ScotRail and walked the 10 minutes uphill to the guest house. Richard, the host, had graciously agreed to meet us early so we could drop off our luggage prior to the 4:00 check-in time. That gave us the freedom to wander Stirling for several hours that afternoon.||Our room had a large window that offered a view of the Wallace Monument in the distance. It was a small room with very little space to put our luggage. However the bathroom was bigger than most in the UK with consistent hot water and good water pressure. The windows opened which allowed us to get some air flow in as we slept. ||For breakfast, Richard fixed us the full Scottish breakfast. It was delicious and great fuel for the day. The dining room has a table assigned to each room and Richard was in and out serving food and chatting with guests. ||I highly recommend Munro Guest House. It's a great value for the money, in a convenient location to access all the Stirling sites, and hosted by a gracious and friendly host.

It was lovely meeting Richard and Harley! Location was right in the city and walkable to Stirling castle. Good room where each of us had a charging port beside our bed which was a nice touch. There was also an additional bathroom that we could use which helped as there were four of us. Breakfast was a nice spread! Hope to visit again someday. -Lau

The guest house is immaculate, homely and a great place to stay in Stirling. It’s very central but in a quiet street. I had a wonderful view right ove to the Walllace Monument. Everything you need is provided and Richard, the host, has a really well laid out book of instructions, recommendations etc in your room. The breakfast is lovely and it was great to be able to chat with other visitors. The only disadvantage might be if you have a problem with stairs as all the rooms are upstairs. I would certainly recommend and stay again in The Munro guest house.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, spacious, clean, and well-appointed house in the heart of Stirling; and what a great traditional breakfast! Richard and Harley gave us a warm welcome and Richard provided us with detailed information about water, heat, medical services, etc. A well-run operation. I wish we had stayed longer.

We had an absolutely lovely time here. Richard and sweet dog Harley were the consummate hosts. Richard was generous with recommendations, breakfast was tasty, and the room was clean and well-furnished. We can't wait to come back!

I can’t fault Munro Guest House in any way - only a small suggestion at the end of my review. Situated in a quiet road, about a 5 minute walk from the station, this was an extremely comfortable place to stay. My room was spotless and Richard was a friendly and welcoming host. Breakfast (including porridge) was excellent.|Good value at £77! The only thing I missed was decaffeinated coffee in the evening!

Yelp
After traveling from Inverness to Aberdeen and staying at locations, the Munro Guest house was the best by far. Loved the accommodations and the Owner is top notch. He takes care of you like family. Rooms were designed with you in mind. Breakfast cant be beat. Give Richard a call. He and Harley are waiting to greet you.
