MUPE, Museo del Perfume

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this museum, here you can learn about the perfume making process, history of perfumes around the world and see a collection of famous perfume brands from around the world. There are also interactive displays where you can smell perfumes and perfume elements. You can also pay extra for perfume making experience. I highly recommend visiting this museum.

I loved going to this museum and it was one of my favorites to go to. The place was beautifully decorated even though it was a small museum. The museum shows in detail how perfume is made. Not only does it show its made but also what ingredients it uses in display. You can also smell some fragrances in the making of perfume. This was my favorite part of the museum. There's a display that let's you see perfumes bottle from the past and present in how they changed over time. There's also a gift shop here where you can buy perfume. The ticket was 80 pesos and you can also buy them online or in person at the museum.

I’ve been wanting to visit this museum for the longest time and finally got the chance this weekend. It’s smaller than expected but still incredibly charming and visually captivating. I love fragrances and have been collecting them since I was 13, so I had a blast exploring the different collections they have here. I wish I could smell them all, but of course, many are now discontinued. 😅 The gift shop is great, and I even discovered a brand I had never come across before—and instantly fell in love with. I’ll be back soon to purchase it, as the brand is based in Europe and doesn’t currently ship to the U.S. Overall, a fantastic experience, especially for fragrance lovers!

This museum was a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be. I especially liked the idea that you can smell various perfumes. The displays their first class in the building appears to be an old mansion and it's beautifully restored. Overall, I highly recommend going here even if you're not totally in the perfumes. The admission fee is 80 pesos. Give it a sniff sometime!

If you’re a big fragrance lover like me, then you should definitely check this place out. You will learn a lot about the art of fragrance making, and some history about perfumery. I attended one of the perfume making workshops, and I had a great time. The exhibitions were mainly in Spanish but some exhibitions were in both Spanish and English. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. One particular staff named Omar, who became my translator, was really nice and gave the best service.

Nice little museum. Great for a different experience with some interactive activities such as virtual room and make your own perfume. The museum is rather small so do not plan more than 2 hours to cover it all.

So cool to see all the bottles of older perfumes form my youth and to read and smell about how perfumes are made. Easily doable with kids and in just a few hours perfect for a short afternoon.

Beautiful place and very interesting museum. Great experience. If you can, go during the weekday cause they have guides but not available during the weekend.
