Muppet*Vision 3D

For a classic attraction, this is one of the best done 3D shows I've ever seen! Have always loved the Muppets and I love that the entire theater gets into the 3D act on this one.

The presentation is decent and the 3D effect is pretty good. But you can totally get bored - my wife and I fell asleep briefly - especially if your last ride was from the Star Wars area. It’s an excellent show if you have little kids. And there’s hardly a wait on this, so it would be an excellent choice during a sweltering summer days. Cute, but not a must if you have only 1 day at Hollywood Studios.

I, apparently, have been missing out on this show all these years. Muppet Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a blend of nostalgia, humor, and family-friendly chaos that brings Jim Henson’s characters to life in a way that is quaint and charming. The show uses a 3D film with in-theater effects, animatronics, and classic Muppet slapstick to make the show work. It is an immersive experience that’s equal parts theme park attraction and vaudeville-style comedy sketch. There is about a 10-minute pre-show that is packed with rapid-fire jokes, visual gags, and backstage antics that perfectly set the tone. Once inside the main theater, guests, wearing 3-d glasses, are treated to a “tour” of the Muppet Labs, where things (of course) go hilariously wrong thanks to the antics of characters like Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker, and a brand-new 3D character named Waldo. I think it is funny, irreverent, chaotic, and full of heart. While some effects may feel dated compared to modern attractions, the charm of the show is still timeless, especially for those, like me, who grew up with Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Fozzie Bear. I think it is a must-see for fans and a fun introduction for newcomers. Enjoy!

This show is so charming and really needs to stay in the park! It is so fun and interactive, and has always been my favorite show in Hollywood Studios. It saddens me to hear that the show will be closing, as it always brightened my day and put me in a cheerful mood.

Great 3D show! Could use some upgrading though. Music was awesome as well as the sound and some effects. Seating was comfortable and it was a nice way to escape the heat even if it was for a short time. We highly recommend seeing this attraction and look forward to our return in the future!

Muppet Vision 3D is a show located in Hollywood Studios. As the name suggests, it will have muppets. This show takes place in a theater that as been taken over by muppets. There’s a pre show to keep guests entertained while waiting, and is charming. When I walked into the theater, I noticed the seats haven’t been cleaned in a long time. I didn’t like the theater, and I doubt Disney put any time in refurbishing this place. Some of the effects didn’t work, but some of the 3D effects were annoying. However, the show was funny enough. The final scene is a painful emulation of It’s a Small World, one of my least favorite rides in property. But, the experience was still enjoyable. Overall, this show would be a once in a blue moon.

A classic 3D attraction with the Muppets, a must do for kids. Fun, entertaining and very well made with the new digital print. The queue is a big room full with Muppets props and TV screens in which the characters show up pre-show.

This show is probably old and outdated to some, but it’s a classic attraction for me. Love this show and I hope it never changes. The jokes are still funny after all the times I’ve seen the show. If you’ve never watched the full length of the pre show, I recommend doing that sometime. I think it’s just as good if not better than the main part of the show.

This show will always be special, as it was directed by Jim Henson, which ended up being his final major project before his untimely passing on May 16th, 1990. Muppet Vision 3D opened posthumously on May 16th, 1991 (exactly one year after Jim Henson passed away). The show is very creative with its entertaining pre-show and decorative exterior & interior of the building & theater. It's a mixture of animatronics, 3D presentation, and Live actors & special effects. It's enjoyable for kids and adults that grew up with the Muppets. It is sad to know that its final day of operation will be on June 7th, 2025; as it will make way for the future themed Pixar's Monsters, Inc. franchise. I hope Jim Henson's final project will reappear somewhere else in the future, as this show is still very entertaining after 30+ years. It is truly a timeless classic that continues to entertaining future & all generations.

Hollywood Studios day ride (attraction/show, really) #3: OK. I've probably done Muppet Vision 3D about 5-6 times in my life. The previous experience was in October 2023. I went last week because I knew the ride will be going away in a couple of months, before I get a chance to do it again. What's good? The theatre that provides a break from the heat, the pie to the face, some of the humor, and the Muppet characters. Riding this was worthwhile because I learned that, though I like the Muppets, I like nostalgia media, and I like a ride that is more of a show than a ride, it just isn't quite as fun for me now. I wonder whether it is for this generation of kids and families. I think it is time to move on. I think I had conflated it with my favorite ever 3D attraction at Disney: Honey I Shrunk the Audience. That ride has a feature with the feeling of mice running behind your ankles. I waited for that to happen in Muppet Vision 3D and of course it didn't. Minus one star this time because it finally hit me how annoying is the Waldo character created by Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. I'd rather have had more time with traditional Muppets or even some Disney characters. But I understand it wasn't like they want to change the show too much; it was Jim Henson's final directed project. I'm glad I got the chance to ride it one last time.

Not to be dramatic, but I cannot put into words my sadness about the upcoming closure of Muppet Vision 3D. Since I was a child I have loved this show, and The Muppets. I came a few days ago to see it for the last time, and it was as funny and cute as ever. The pre-show room is full of so many props and hidden details. I could spend so long there looking at everything. The audience was full and laughed so much throughout the whole show. Considering this show was made in the 90's, it's incredible how well it has held up. It has the same vibes as watching an old episode of The Muppets Show. I am so sad to see it go, but I am so glad I got to see it one last time.

Muppet*Vision 3D - The Only Show Where Getting Hit with a Pie in the Face Felt Like a Compliment Disney's Hollywood Studios (Retired, but forever in our hearts and eyeballs) Let me set the stage: You walk into a theater designed by frogs, pigs, and assorted poultry. You sit in a plush seat that probably hasn't changed since the early '90s, surrounded by guests of all ages who have no idea what's about to happen. And then, boom--silliness, puns, chaos, and heart... in glorious 3D. I was never the guy with a Kermit shrine or a "What Would Gonzo Do?" bracelet. I didn't weep when Miss Piggy went solo. But my dad? Huge Muppets guy. He's got vinyl records, old tapes, probably a secret stash of Muppet merch somewhere in the attic. So for me, Muppet*Vision was this weird but wonderful constant--something I could enjoy with him as a kid, laugh at with friends as an adult, and eventually admire as a Cast Member who understood just how much this little corner of the park meant to people. Let's talk about the show itself. It's classic. It's "throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks" comedy--but somehow, all of it stuck. Sam Eagle's misguided sense of patriotism. Waldorf and Statler roasting everyone in sight. Fozzie's terrible jokes. A penguin orchestra. Beaker nearly catching fire. I mean, where else can you see a 3D pie flying at your face and be thankful for it? And don't even get me started on the pre-show. That pre-show had more jokes per square inch than an entire season of late-night TV. You could stand in that room a hundred times and still notice something new--signs, props, puns, and chaos galore. That's Disney magic and Muppet nonsense working hand-in-hand. Was it dated? A little. Did it rely on corny humor? Absolutely. Was it still a better time than waiting two hours for a boarding group that never gets called? YES. Muppet*Vision 3D didn't need to chase trends or reinvent itself. It knew exactly what it was--and it delivered the same wild, weird, wonderful show day after day, year after year. And when the world outside the park felt too noisy or too heavy, there was always something comforting about sitting down, putting on those plastic glasses, and letting the Muppets take over for 15 chaotic minutes. The theater's quiet now. The cannonballs have stopped flying. The penguins have retired. But the laughs? Still echoing. So long, sweet chaos. You'll always have a spot in my heart... and probably in my astigmatism, thanks to those 3D effects.

Muppet Vision 3D is one of my favorite spots at Hollywood Studios. Why you may ask? It's not a thrill ride or super exciting, but I grew up with these Muppets and love to see them do their show. Aside from the entertainment, it's also a nice place to sit, rest, and enjoy the air conditioning for a bit after you've been hoofing it all day at Disney in the heat. Yes, I'm to that age where that is what I enjoy. You'll see Muppets of Statler and Waldorf in their opera seats, Sweetums, and the penguin orchestra. The rest of the show and pre-show attractions are videos of Muppets like Miss Piggy, Kermit, Fozzy Bear, and Scooter. There are also fountains, statues, and other formats of decor featuring the Muppets as you wait in the queue for the show to start, and those are cute to see too. I think it was recently announced that Muppet Vision 3D will eventually be closed and turned into a Monsters Inc. show. So if you're a fan of the Muppets and will be at Disney soon, definitely check it out!

It was a cute show, and very reminiscent of the old Muppet Show episodes. There are no sensory effects, but there is a 3D element to it. You do need to wear the glasses. There is an explosive finale. I won't ruin it for you. The show lasts longer than most. I think it was around 15 minutes (maybe a tad longer). There is a brief period when you're inside the lobby of the theater waiting for all the guests to file in before the auditorium doors open. They play little preshow muppet skits on these very small televisions, and tell you not to wear your glasses until you are seated (for safety reasons). It's just something to do before or after your lunch. Especially if you want to cool off on a hot day. The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and ABC Commissary are close to it. There are food options and shops within that Muppet Courtyard as well. Oh, and there was a marching band called Seasonz Jukebox that made there way over from Commissary Lane to Grand Avenue. It was all very entertaining. There are plans to turn Muppet Courtyard into Monsters, Inc. land. However, I didn't see any signs of that as of December 2024. Even PizzeRizzo was still open. Just see it all while you can before it gets a new theme.

Cool 3d show with wall effects. The cannons shooting at the walls and then blasting holes looked quite realistic and fun. The show is more geared towards kids but the 3d effects were quite impressive and had a strong showing. The theater was nicely air conditioned and had tons of seating. You probably won't be waiting long for this show unless you barely missed the showing. Overall recommend this attraction and a good show.

As someone who is not well-versed in The Muppets at all, this ride/show was not worth my time personally. The wait was a bit long for this, it gave the same lead up to the show vibes as Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor over in Magic Kingdom where you're waiting outside the doors in just an open room where they're playing some videos to get you into the show's headspace. But you're disappointed when the show itself is a bit of a letdown (completely unlike the Laugh Floor). I think some of my friends in my group even fell asleep when we were here mid-afternoon. Granted, it was a hot day and the second to last day of our trip, so in general we were a bit more worse for wear, but I just didn't connect to this ride too well given how unfamiliar I am with Muppets canon. I definitely zoned out a bit at times during this as it became increasingly unhinged in my opinion. But, if not for anything else, it gives you that stretch of time to sit and be off your feet and indoors in an A/C-ed auditorium out of the Florida sun and heat for a bit. I'm not sure entirely how well that's worth it here, so this is definitely not one I would recommend. If you're looking to get off your feet and watching a show for a bit, I strongly recommend the Mickey Shorts over this!

AU REVOIR - MOI LOVES YOU MISS PIGGY! We were among the many many Muppet fans who said farewell to Kermit and the gang on the last day of Muppet Vision 3D. Fans came dressed in Muppet costumes and Muppet-themed hats and shirts and carried plushies of their favorite characters. Being surrounded by Muppet fans made the long line fun. Not only was there a line to get in to the show, the long line looped through the cave passage to Star Wars Galaxy Edge and used the Rise of the Resistance queue. The line then circled back and around to the back of the theatre that was decorated with Muppet posters spoofing movies. Once the show started, audience members recited lines from the show, sang with Miss Piggy and cheered their favorite parts. Hopefully Disney brings back the Muppets show in some form. Maybe Disney can feature a new Muppets show in the underused Mickey Shorts Theatre.

Muppet bison 3D is a longtime attraction located inside of disneys Hollywood studios and is a 3D show/attraction featuring the kookie and zany Jim Henson creation the muppets. An attraction that very rarely has a long wait. You walk inside to a waiting area filled with cool props and fan service for the muppet characters. The show itself is very fun, clever, and despite being an older attraction remains one of the better usages of 3d fun that I've ever witnessed. I'm personally a huge muppets fan. Grew up on the shows and movies and to This day the very on the nose humor makes me smile and feel at peace. So I'm partial tot his attraction. That said it's still a lot of fun. My kiddos who are just vaguely familiar with the muppets always get a big kick out of the attraction and are amazed and drawn in by the cool 3d effects this attraction brings. Overall one of my favorite attractions at Hollywood studios. A park filled with cool thrill rides this is a cool change of pace and very nostalgic for me as I can remember visiting this attraction as a youngster almost 30 years ago.

I hope they never ever get rid of this attraction. I was so sad when they got rid of it from Disneyland. Last 2 times I was there, the gift shop was closed so I couldn't get any pins or muppet merch. It would be cool if maybe they updated the 3D capabilities but it's such a great show the way it is. I miss it always

I love this ride. It still holds up. The jokes works and the 3D still feel brand new. This place is perfect for cooling off, catching a quick power nap. I've seen this show soo many times that I've make a point to catching when I am at Hollywood studio. What I've like about this place was gift shop but sadly it's no longer around. Which made me so sad. I love the Muppets! I would've bought something.

Besides for arrows being shot into the walls and one of the characters running away, it's a pretty decent show. Some of the audience is bolted to the chairs so they can't leave to go to the bathroom. The pre show is fairly decent and almost as good as the show. The orchestra is there for the halibut. Oh, duck when you hear the cannon going off. Overall, highly recommend, even it's just for the puns and AC.

Muppets are always cool and always been a nostalgia from my childhood. My kids are I really enjoyed this ride while we were at Disney. 3-d things are always fun. This show was very fun and had bubbles and old puppet guys making jokes the whole time. This is a lot of fun and definitely worth visiting.

Great for any Muppets fan - still entertaining even if you're not a fan. As a kid, I liked the Muppets but wasn't a major fan at the same time. As an adult, I really could care less about them - but as a father, I do have to deal with them and I don't mind. My son wanted to go to this, so we went - and the show was entertaining, as most things in Disney are. It's a 3D show, so you get the glasses and all the typical 3D gags and gimmicks are used here. There is some animatronics during the show in some spots and there is a live person in a costume who comes out at one point. Kids will like the show and I would imagine most adults would. The theater is comfortably spaced and if it's a hot day, you have the air conditioning to look forward to. Unlike a lot of 3D, 4D, and any rides when exiting, you're not tactically forced through a gift shop - but there is one right next door with a decent amount of Muppet and non-Muppet merchandise. Located in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Disney World. Easily worth doing at least once, but there is no need to Fast Pass this one unless you're a hardcore Muppet fan. Should relatively low on the priority list as it doesn't get as overly crowded as other attractions and areas in the park.

First thing to understand is that this is a nostalgia act. For those of us that grew up on the Muppet Show and the Muppet movies, it is fun. The entire experience is a bit dated. I seem to remember years ago that this was one of the 4-D shows, it still has some of those elements but only once or twice. I am not knocking this act overall as it was funny, and I kept having those " Oh look it's (INSERT CHARACTER HERE). TO be honest the biggest knock on this journey to my child hood is the absence of ANIMAL! and the band. I recommend if you grew up with the Muppets, or are looking for a funny show to cool down watching on a hot FLorida day.

As one that grew up during the rein of The Muppets I enjoyed this 3D film experience. I laughed several times at the jokes casually tossed out by each character, one right after the other. To begin the crowd will corral in a large, air conditioned room and watch a pre-show. A timer can be found on the wall near theater doors to let you know how long before the show. There's no need to be first in the door. There's lots of room and letting people gather in the row before you gives a better chance of being centered. There's lots of 3D antics during the show and heckling from the iconic two men in the balcony.

Place is so cute for kids and also for the older adults that remember the muppets from their childhood. Was a great show not time consuming.

Who doesn't love the Muppets? I grew up watching the Muppets on T.V. and I had to check out this cute show, located in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Disney World! It's a 3D file with glasses. If you get motion sickness easily or dizzy, I'd recommend avoiding this show. Social distancing guideline markers were in-place throughout the queue. As we entered, we were presented with a small pre-show, which had distance markers situated within their for each family to follow. The pre-show was quite cute, with animatronics and videos, tons of jokes! After the pre-show, you then enter the auditorium. The auditorium was seating every other row due to social distancing guidelines. Each seat only sat 4 people, and then were separated with social distancing guidelines. I really enjoyed the show! Lots of 3D special effects and some of your favorite characters! There is a live action sequence as well! I won't spoil any of the fun! Check it out if you're in Disney Hollywood Studios! It's a good break from the summer Florida heat and rides!

This 3D show is located at Hollywood Studios. As you enter, head to the left and back corner of the park. I don't think you necessarily need a fast pass for this ride if you are here at a time when crowds are low to moderate. As you arrive at the attraction, you will see a lot of cute muppet posters. You pick up our 3D glasses and are then led into a room where you will wait for up to 10-15 minutes for the next show to begin. The theater is quite large and can fit a good amount of people in. The show itself is cute. I honestly was never a big muppets fan, but I remembered most of the characters in this short film. The movie isn't too long, but you will see all of your favorite characters get into all kinds of mischief. I think this should be a suitable attraction for children of all ages, nothing in here seemed particularly frightening.

Disney is seriously lacking in Muppets attractions throughout the parks, but I'm thankful for this adorably cheesy show. It's always the same but it's one I never miss while at Disney Hollywood Studios...especially right now while DHS is pretty much a dead zone before Star Wars & Toy Story open. Admittedly, it needs some updating though. It opened in 1991 and aside from routine maintenance, I can't remember it ever having an overhaul. It's needed. I think there may be some hesitation because Jim Henson's hands were directly in the cookie jar for this show and I get it. But c'mon, we're at 25 years since inception. Now then, Muppet*Vision 3D is a *shocker* 3D show experience with a bit of live action. The pre-show is long but it's kinda cute. I've never had to wait for the show, usually just watch the pre-show and then go right in. It plays every 30 minutes and is 17 minutes long. It's in the middle of the Muppets Courtyard which didn't have anything else Muppets themed aside from a glorious fountain that provided photo ops, but now has PizzeRizzo...so at least they're semi-expanding on The Muppets. A rat pizza parlor still seems like an odd restaurant choice to me, but I digress! Muppet Vision 3-D! Totally awesome and a must do if you haven't before.

Classic and fun. A great stop to just take a 'rest' break ride, be inside and cool down, and be entertained by some of the classics. Great for families, kids, easy fun show. It's important to support the childhood greats and keep nostalgia current and alive. Keep the tradition going!

Even though I'm now considered elderly and usually don't have much interest in watching children's programs, cartoons or puppets, in my opinion, the Muppets have always been a great source of entertainment for young and old! I actually looked forward to seeing the Muppet Vision 3D theater as a "must see" attraction on our list of places to visit at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. When we first entered the building, it turned out that hundreds of other tourists had the same idea! Fortunately, the lobby and theater was well equipped to accommodate the masses of people! It was a little uncomfortable standing for a long period of time in the lobby with a crowd of people as we waited for the next show, but at least they had viewing screens with some Muppet entertainment to keep us distracted. When we finally entered the theater, there was plenty of comfortable seating to relax and enjoy the show. And what a fun show it was! I really enjoyed watching all the beloved characters from the Muppet universe with all the funny jokes, one liners and hilarious acting, all with the goal of making a 3D movie in the cheapest, cheesiest and silliest ways that had the audience laughing throughout the whole show. If you love the Muppets or grew up watching them like I did, then this truly is something you have to see. This is the LAST project that Jim Henson was involved in before his death. Many many moons ago (early 90's) I was fortunate to help open the theater and continued to worth there for a year or so and even meet Jim himself...Talk about a dream come true. So, now decades later, the building is still there and very little has changed. I mean the that in a good way...not bad. The building is still the same and has the incredible Muppet humor with stuff to look at in the pre-show area that will make you laugh. There are literally hundreds of props hidden inside of other props with clues on the outside of crates. If you stop watching the TV hanging and notice the unbelievable attention to details. So changes that happened in the last few years was the addition of Constantine the worlds most dangerous frog was added to the pre-show; nice touch to keep it updated. Very little has changed in the theater with the exceptions that were probably unrepairable because so much of what Disney does is proprietary and some of the items have to wait for a complete shut down / renovation in order to take care of it. It's minor things like the Swedish Chef no longer pops out of the back of the projection room and there are some parts of the wall that no longer light up when the "wreck" happens at the end. So....it sounds like I"m complaining, but it's 5 stars?? Yes, it is five stars because it IS Jim Henson and he had such a passion for creating this attraction at Hollywood Studios. Would you notice any of the things I mentioned, probably not. We go every single visit to the studios; it's a family favorite for sure. TIP: Don't waste a fast pass on it. There is rarely a line because each the theater and pre-show hold about 500+, so there are about 1,000 people moving thru there every 20 minutes. Lately with all the star wars construction going on and the fact that the park kinda ends behind Muppet Vision 3D now probably have an impact on the number of visitors I've seen in the last couple years. You don't want to miss this movie if you grew up on old school Muppets. Don't get me wrong, I love the new Muppet movies, but no one did Muppets like Jim Henson and I attribute this to being his final masterpiece. Enjoy and pay attention to the details! Put that darn phone away and look around. You'll thank me! PS- The Miss Piggy fountain stopped turning a few years ago. Rather than fixing it they recently made it a flower bed around here and not the classic fountain.

Would I use a lightning pass on this? - I doubt it would be necessary except during peak seasons The kid factor: GRADE A. These 3D shows are real well done. Kids would eat this up and they do have a nice blend of muppet characters The line, ease of boarding, staff, and atmosphere: GRADE A. This would be a good stop on a hot day for relief. It's a theater, so plenty of room The show overall / final thoughts: GRADE B. The story is kinda meh, but I can't knock the attraction. A worthy addition to the theme park and it definitely belongs? I wouldn't call it a must see, but it is a nice one to add to the check list

First of all, this show needs some serious updating! It's really in desperate need of it. Listen up, Disney, I'm talking to you!! It's a pretty cool little 3-D show. If you have a small child, don't skip this one. They'll for sure get a kick out of it. If you happen to be one of those die-hard Muppet fans, then I don't even need to tell you to make sure to see it because I'm sure you've already got it on your lists of things to do. =) But, if you don't have a small child and are like me and don't really care too much about the Muppets, then you may want to think about skipping this one if you're short on time because there are much more entertaining things to do at Hollywood Studios... at least in my humble opinion. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the show or the Muppets, I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to Disney (and have been already) a lot. That means I'm never in a rush to do anything. So if I'm at Hollywood Studios and the heat is really getting to me (although I try to avoid Disney during the summer just for that reason), I'll pop in here for the show just so I can get out of the heat and into the a/c for a short while. It's also a good opportunity to get off your aching feet.

Even if you have fond memories of the muppets, this show is just ok. There was a long line for this show and once inside, a very lame pre show. Even though a new muppets movie is in theaters the pre show seemed straight out of the 80s. Inside the show used cheesy 3d effects. The show itself also seemed dated and in need of updating. So if I didn't like it, why three stars? The kids actually enjoyed the show. I doubt I would return, but if you have kids, it may be worth a trip.

The pre-show entertainment on the small multiple screens in the waiting area seemed to go on forever. Once the doors opened, you pick an aisle and fill in the seats as necessary. It wasn't too crowded so no one really needed to sit near the end of the rows. I felt that the 3D feature was somewhat overused, but the little girl sitting next to me seemed to really enjoyed that aspect of the show as she was desperately trying to grab everything that appeared to fly towards her. I thought that this was a nice attraction so that you could sit down and rest your feet, but I think it's more for the little ones. This one might be a snoozer for the adults unless you really liked the Muppets as a kid.

Perhaps it's because I'm not a big Muppets fan, but this 3-D show reminds me of Mickey's PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom, however I thought Mickey's was much more entertaining. If you have time to kill or want to some relief from the FL sun or even downpour, this may be a good option. Similar to other Disney show attractions, it's best if you're not one of the first people in line by the door entrance because most likely you'll be asked to go to the very end of the row. If you do decide to watch it, don't waste your fastpass on this one.

This was a trip back to my youth. I used to love the irreverant humor of the Muppets, and it's no different. What is different, is that people USED to listen to the instructions, When Cast members used to say move down all the way, they did, today, not so much. They promptly sat center of the row. Not giving to cares that people had to climb over them. Not caring that people had to trip over their feet, and trust me, they didn't move to make it easier. Idiots. The show, the theater is a throw back that younger time, when I laughed without care, when the 3d effects did work so beautifully. When I would duck and giggle. And of course I loved the bubbles and fire works. Sadly, the audience didn't seem to react so much. Ahh today's youth.. so skewed .

Let us take a moment to appreciate the Muppets and all of their antics in all of their glory. My favorite Muppet is Sam Eagle and he has a couple of cameos in this 3D movie that crack me up every time. All of your favorite characters are featured here in fact so all will enjoy this show. This is just a 3D movie, no 4D splashing effects or anything here, but there are some Muppets "live" within the show, so that keeps it exciting. Since this is a movie show, the theater is indoors: winning!

I figure I have seen this movie more than any other over my lifetime. I can quote the entire thing but I never seem to tire of its silliness. It's a fun attraction and a cool place to escape the heat and rest your feet after a busy day at the theme parks. The movie is wacky and stars all of your favorite muppets. There's even a musical number from Miss Piggy that goes horribly wrong. The Disney World version is identical to the one at Disneyland as far as the actual movie goes, but the physical building and setting is better in Orlando. If you are a fan of the Muppets, do not miss the gift shop near the exit (and plan on spending some time so you can pay attention to all the detail) -- it's made to look like the real Happiness Hotel!

Am I the only one that wants to see all three glorious hours of Sam the Eagle's finale "A Salute to All Nations, But Mostly America"? I am a Muppet fan in a MAJOR way! I've loved them since I was a kid and my love and understanding of their humor has only grown as I've gotten older. The entire gang is here for this one: Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Statler & Waldorf, the list goes on and on. It's great the way they incorporate all sorts of effects and technology to really make the show completely immersive. That being said, keep a sharp eye turned all around the theatre, you never know where the action could be coming from/taking place. The preshow has been updated to include Constantine from Muppets Most Wanted. The queue line is wonderful as well with posters mocking movies in only a way The Muppets could. Also, be sure to check and see if the key is actually under the mat or not ;)

This is a cute show that mixes in some 4-D moments. If you're a fan of the show you gotta come see this. I always find it amusing when they say they aren't going to do any cheap 3D gimmicks and then proceed to do so. The Muppets may not be my favorite show but I do enjoy this and we usually go to it. We set up a fastpass for it and didn't end up using it because we were able to get in easily. It's not something I would do multiple times in one trip but definitely something to hit up each time we visit.

This show has been here forever and it never gets old to me. I have enjoyed this show while being single, married and as a Dad with my family. This show feels like part of my life and I hope that Disney never replaces it. I took my little one to the new Muppets movie and she was introduced to them and loved them. In fact, she thinks that this show is brand new...she has no idea how old Daddy is!!! This show was doing 3D before it was even Avatar Popular...so hats off to the Henson/Disney Team for making such an innovative movie ahead of its time. The show also has air conditioning which is very popular on a hot day in Orlando! So if you haven't seen the Muppet Show in 3D, then I highly recommend you put on your list when you are visiting Hollywood Studios!!! Oh yeah I'm a Muppet of a Man!!!

By far my favorite show at Disney. I am not huge fan of the Muppets; however, my friend wanted to see it and I am extremely happy he convinced me to do so. The wait was not long and the theater was very large an enough room for all. The 4D show was fun including bubbles, 3D effects, sounds, and the old puppet guys cracking dad jokes! Loved this and would suggest to all.

This is basically a 3-D show featuring the Muppets! I love me some Muppets so I knew I had to go and see this show or I probably would regret it until my teeth fall out. There is not much you need to know about this ride. You sit down, put your glasses on and enjoy the show and it has muppets! Muppets! I really enjoyed it and was well rounded overall, and quite funny. The characters were true to their spirit even though Disney bought them out. Still, this is Disney we are talking about. Everything is quality with them. Great show and I hope to try it again someday!

Yeah, Muppet Vision 3D is a bit dated now and the 3D is not all that mind blowing now, but it's still the Muppets! Expect cheesy one-liners, goofy jokes, and the normal muppet craziness. They are all here - Kermit, Fozzy, Miss Piggy, Sam the Eagle, the two crotchety old guys, Beeker, Animal. Dr Bunson Honeydew, The Swedish Chef, etc. The movie itself is just a set up for the 3D effects and ensuing mayhem. Bubbles come down during Miss Piggy's act, canons are shot, explosions, smoke, water, and arrows fly into the walls. Great for adults and kids. It's the normal wholesome Muppets comedy. The waiting area and theater holds a lot of people so lines are not too bad. Part of the fun is walking through to the waiting room and reading the doors and posters in the Muppets' offices. The waiting area entertains with a some funny videos and props. It's all in good fun, and the comfy seating and AC is a welcome reprieve on a hot day. Still a classic that must be seen when at the park.

I am a really BIG fan of the Muppets, but that shouldn't take away from how much fun this 3D movie with 4D experience should be for those who aren't as big a fan as I am. They have many fun surprises that enhance the over-the-top use of the 3D visual effects. We had a great time sitting in the lobby reading all of the silly jokes and references on the props while waiting for the film to start. We went after dark, but I can only imagine that it would be a great relief from the heat in the middle of the day.

Okay, so I was totally geeking out on this one. Mad Muppet love! Its so fun too, to be sharing it with a new generation. The Muppet Vision 3D is basically a 3D movie with some animatronic and some live action components. The theater is classic Muppet Show --red velvet, gold engraved balconies. I won't spoil the show, but suffice to say that its a great old time here with your old friends Piggy, Kermit, Sam Eagle and many of the gang from the original Muppet Show. The story in the movie isn't all that memorable and the script not that tight, but the show creatively uses actors along with animatronics (which a few rides do at Disney Hollywood Studios) and is a crowd pleaser. Its a lot of fun for Muppet fans old and new. Call me a Muppet geek, but I'd love to see some more Muppet rides and activities at DWorld. After the new movie came out in 2011, there's a whole new fan base. Maybe a "Animal Rollercoaster", a Miss Piggy shoot em up, or an "Am I Man or a Muppet" 3-D adventure. Hmmmm...

I mean you've got Statler and Waldorf plus a little Swedish Chef thrown in (Bork! Bork!) along with the usual cavalcade of super cheesy Muppet one liners and puns that all seem thirty years old but at the same time it wouldn't be something Muppet-ish without them. While all that is good, the 3-D at this show is really showing it's age and the "story" is quite frankly really stupid. If you've got younger kids who are into the Muppets or who you think might find them interesting then give it a shot or if you love A/C on a hot day or are such a fan of a certain chef that you still go to that crazy dialectizer website to see how he would say something then this is still for you. If not, then skip but either way after you've seen this show once because it's enough.

This is a fun 3-D movie. This is exactly the same as the movie in California adventure park in California in case you've been to both. The 3-D effect is better if you sit further back towards the middle of the theater. This is an older 3-D movie so the 3-D effects are not as good as the newer movies. Good for families with small children. They spray some water in your face , drop bubbles from the ceiling, And there is some mist from the ceiling in front of the theater. Is fast pass worth it for the show? No. Fast pass put you in the holding area by the door two minutes before the rest of the people come in. Because you're by the door, you have to go all the way to the end of the theater and get the seats at the end which sucks. The theater ushers keep telling you to move to the end. You could just plant yourself in the middle if you really insist.

You really do not need a FastPass for this attraction. It is nice that Hollywood Studios still has something that is not Star Wars related. The 3-D effects are still good. Our girls (7 and 11) still enjoy the show.
