This was definitely in the top two gelatos of my life, if not the best. We stopped by for dessert on a whim, because the gelato looked really good, and it was cheap, just 2 euros for a small cup with multiple flavors. I tried the pistachio and the milk/cream flavor.
After my first bite, I made yummy noises and proclaimed that it was delicious. The girl working there lit up with joy. "You like it!?" she asked, excitedly. "My brother made it!" she beamed with pride. It was nice to both have amazing gelato and support a local, family-owned business.
We scarfed down our gelato while walking the streets of Murano. Less than an hour later, we decided it was so good that we needed to go back for seconds. This time, I got the hazelnut and the milk chocolate in a cone, and they were amazing as well.
If you're going to Murano, you absolutely must stop here. The sign just says "Gelateria Artigianale Murano," so it could be hard to find if you don't have the address.
