I drove quite a ways to stay here, because the reviews I read made it sound like such a unique experience.
I had a very different experience than what I've read.
First, my site was at the bottom of a very steep, small hill. I felt like I was at the bottom of a fish bowl. Rather expensive for what it was, and I was kinda bummed that I had reserved and already paid for 3 nights.
I'm not sure what the deal was, but the dude who runs the place (and people rave about), was pretty rude to me. Not sure if it's because I was a lone female, or what. His wife was very nice, but I felt like I wasn't in his clique or something. It was a weird place. I guess you gotta have an rv and a family to be approved of there. I travel all over the place, and most always make friends. Not there. I couldn't wait to get out.
