Google
The BEST sandwiches! I ordered the Italian BLT and the tomato was so deliciously ripe, and bread toasted to perfection. Highly recommend! The asparagus and arugula salad was also delicious with a hint of coconut that really took it to the next level.

Google
Nice little store in Little Italy A small Italian grocery shop with a cozy atmosphere. They carry a variety of ingredients, not only Italian. They also have a good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Google
Absolutely lovely little market! This was the first place we went during our short visit to Cleveland. The market itself has an excellent selection of groceries, wine, and deli items. They also serve food, and we had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a restaurant in years! The young lady who helped us was very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend this little local gem!

Google
You want real meatballs in Little Italy—Go here! Everywhere else had a frozen store bought taste but this place is the real deal! I watched them make the recipe and I can say full heartedly that I give my Italian thumbs up of approval.

Cheri V.

Google
This is a lovely little market that has almost anything you’d need to pick up at a grocery store. Friendly service, quick too! They have prosciutto de Parma to slice, and the Chicken Parm is insanely good!

Google

Google
I love this place! I've had lunch there almost every Tuesday for the last 2 years. The employees and owners are super friendly and always ask us what we've been up to. The meatloaf, salmon, Asian Philly sandwich and their soups are all big hits with us.

Google
Amazing Italian BLT and Chicken and dumpling soup. Super friendly and helpful service. And whatever that cream cheese pastry stick was, I’ll never forget you.

Yelp
A perfect gem of a spot! Classic but updated neighborhood grocery ... We stopped in for sandwiches and sodas. The people who work there were SO friendly and welcoming! We had a prime rib sandwich with melted provolone and peppers, and the Italian BLT (pancetta, brie, arugula, tomato, & balsamic vinaigrette; pictured here, forgot to take pic before I started!). Absolutely delicious. Not huge but just the right size. When you're finished eating, there are all kinds of interesting groceries, produce, wines, pastries, locally sourced items, and more. Definitely will be back, worth heading up the side street off Little Italy's main drag. Don't miss it!

Yelp
Darn good sandwiches at darn good prices! It's actually a convenient store, but you can also get hot food there. Heads up, it's an old building that's tiny inside, so not great for people in wheelchairs.
google avatar

Yelp
Italian sandwich and roast beef were excellent! The sauce on the eggplant parm was great. Just wish the eggplant was sliced a little thinner and the skin was peeled but over all a great experience.

Yelp
I was in the area and never been to Murray Market before so for dinner one night, I got the Italian Sub Deluxe ($12.95) after asking what their most popular meat sandwich was. It was ready in about five minutes and was a super yummy, authentically Italian sandwich with a generous amount of cheese and meats. I had forgotten that I don't like pancetta so I had to take those slices out, which is unfortunate because pancetta was like half of the meat. The best part was the bread the sandwich was in! I should have bought a bag of those to bring home. As for the store itself, it is old and worn and the prices of items are high. Some have price tags on them and others don't. You may be in for a surprise when you go to the checkout! This is a good place for locals to stop in and get an item or two. It's kind of like the quick stop shop or bodega of Little Italy.

Yelp
Very cool little family-run market, artisan Italian foods and curated goods. Friendly, quaint atmosphere in a super cute Italian neighborhood.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch while getting familiar with Cleveland. This Italian market won't let you down! Delicious and made fresh the Italian way!

Yelp
Food is always so fresh and delicious. Service is polite and amazing! Ambiance as usual makes me feel like im in italy.

Yelp
This is a great place the service is amazing and the food is just as good. Just ask for a sample they will provide one for you.

Yelp
For me this place brings to the table something amazing also known as their eggplant Parm sandwich. I'm always very picky when it comes to red sauce, but this place delivers...the service is really fast and efficient even at the times They are really busy. I saw there is seating there, but I usually take, my food to go. I've tried a few things from there, but hands-down I always order the eggplant, Parm sandwich, and it never disappoints. They also carry a great selection of ice cream and ices.

Yelp
Porchetta was out. Settled for a dry and cold meatball sub. I don't think it was intended to be that way. Had a Turkish soup that was mostly just brown flavored water. Perhaps the lentils were still at the bottom of the serving container behind the counter. Overall it's a cozy place. Maybe too cozy, it was very slow in there and so was the food prep. There must've been a very important customer amongst us because she sucked up all the staff attention. Food - mediocre at best. Wine selection - decent. 6:10 for the first visit.

Yelp
One of my favorite community hole-in-the-wall places to stop for lunch. Murray Hill Market is a small grocery store x sandwich shop crossover. They have a good selection of sandwich options ranging from classic (chicken parm) to inventive (Asian Philly roast beef sandwich). There's something on the menu for everyone! The sandwiches are freshly made and affordable. Definitely recommend if you're in the Little Italy area and want something quick to grab for lunch.

Yelp
Found out about this place from my Italian plumber who said this was the best Italian food in Little Italy- so i knew I HAD to try! Cute shop in Little Italy that doubles as a small grocery store + restaurant. Limited seating. They some a couple tables outside and I believe one table on the inside if you want to eat-in. They also have bottles of wine you can order when you eat inside. Murray Hill has a mix of cold and hot foods, but i've only tried the hot foods so far. The fresh salmon sandwich, the Eggplant parmigiana sandwich and the Italian Sub deluxe. Wow- I mean they were all so delicious and packed with flavor. Tasted homemade, too. Not over-processed like I feel some american-italian tends to be. think my favorite was the eggplant based on how cheesy it was, but close second was the italian sub.

Yelp
The Murray Hill Market is a visit to the past albeit slightly gentrified. My kids and I got sandwiches and some other bites and sat at the old butcher block table. The staff was very courteous, almost doting, yet competent and professional. I miss these kinds of places. My son gave the chicken parm sandwich ten out of ten.

Yelp
Murray Hill Market is located on the corner of Paul Ave and Murray hill Market. There is free 15 minute street parking off of Paul Ave if you just want to pop in to pick up some delicious food items at the deli. My husband and I came by here on a Tuesday afternoon around 2:10 pm. We were greeted by a friendly employee behind the counter. We had just had lunch down the street and some at Mama Santa's and walked up here to check out this market. I thought it would be nice to pick up some sandwiches for some lunch tomorrow when we visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We ended up purchasing the following (and consuming the next day): Combo Salad, $10.95 prior to tax- This combo salad comes with your choice of 3 salads in the displace case. I decided to order this salad because I thought it was a good deal at the price point. For this salad combo, I ended up picking pasta salad, chimichurri chicken, cous cous salad. I had asked if the chimichurri was part of the combo salad choices and another employee told me it can be (lol). I had asked him if it was spicy. He told me it isn't but did ask if I wanted to try it. I am glad he let me try it because I really liked it and did not find it to be spicy. I have a low tolerance for spicy foods. Often times when others have told me they don't think something is spicy, I find it to be (lol). The portion of this salad combo was huge and perfect at sharing with my husband. I liked the pasta salad and also the cous cous salad. I also liked that the pasta salad did have green leafys in it, which was nice to round out the selection I picked. Would definitely order this combo set again. Turkey Breast Rotisserie Roasted Sandwich, $9.95 prior to tax- After my husband ordered this sandwich, one of the employees began slicing the turkey and then putting together the sandwich. It was quite tasty the next day but I was surprised how small it was. It is a good thing I ordered the combo salad so that we would both have enough to eat. But the turkey sandwich itself was tasty with the pepper jack cheese and the cranberry mayo. ---------------------------- (Total= $20.90 after tax) Service was very friendly. We felt so welcomed. This market also sells a limited section of gourmet items (sauces, cheeses, jams/ spreads, jarred olives, breads, etc). There is also some seating inside upstairs and also some seating outside as well. If I lived in this area, I would come back.

Yelp
Excellent food, I frequently stop here when I'm in Cleveland. Good variety of tasty sandwiches. Also very interesting drink selection

Yelp
First time visiting Murray Hill Market due to the reviews and it fell extremely short. Not the best service and food. The eggplant parm was very soggy, cold, and bordering bland. My sandwich was quite small and disappointing for its price. The lady at the counter was a snob and there was a younger lady taking orders that wasn't any more pleasant. No surprise the place was empty. I regret not picking another place. I'm sure the pizzeria down the block served something much better. Will never go there again.

Violet L.

Yelp
This place used to have the best freaking sandwiches ever!! I think they changed staff sometime last year because the same sandwich I always get was never made correctly by the new staff, which sucked. Still, the meat and cheese selections are vast and they're amazing quality. The basil on the sandwiches are always fresh too. I miss the twink that used to make my sandwiches all the time early last year (heartbreak emoji)

Yelp
This place is an ethnic Italian neighborhood mini mart that makes delicious soups, sandwiches and entrees. The people are SUPER NICE and gear to please. Street parking usually easy to find.

Yelp
Good market in Little Italy. It feels like a classic deli and market. Murray Hill Market is located in the historic Italian neighborhood. Convenient for getting sandwiches or carryout. They have some indoor seating. A lot of items are packed into here. It basically is a deli with a market. The counter has freshly made salads and sandwiches. A lot are classic Italian flavors. There's a few newer kinds of styles. A good one is the hummus vegetable wrap, which had a lot stuffed into it. It has lots of hummus and vegetables like spinach and tomatoes among others. This is about $9 for a pretty good size, and comes with a side of chips or pretzels. If you're looking for some authentic items, you can find them here. Lots of classic herbs and spices. There's also great local choices of wines, and they have many frozen desserts like sorbets.

Yelp
This is a small Italian grocery in the middle of Little Italy of Cleveland's Eastside. There were several home-cooked Italian dinners that were prepared and ready to be warmed up on demand plus a sandwich and salad bar with soups I enjoyed one of the chopped Italian salad which were very large in portion and freshly made to my order the prices are reasonable and the grocery has a little bit of everything in case you need a quick convenient pick up before dinner. The service was very friendly and several people behind the counter for a rush hours like a lunch which I was a little white four but still had a personal touch and people ready and willing to help go the extra mile for that Italian dressing or something special you want left out or included in your order
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches with high quality ingredients and creative premade salads. Counter service within a little market. There are a few seats available to eat in. We chose to carry out.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing Italian sandwiches. We ordered Italian Deluxe, Classic Italian, Chicken Parm, Eggplant Parm, and Breakfast Sandwich--all super delicious. You can taste the freshness in ingredients and the perfect amount of crunchiness in their bread. The shop is SO CUTE with grocery items, deli, and wines to choose from. Few out door seatings out front and in the back. The back patio is accessed thru side of the market. Plenty of free hour & permit parking around. Murray Hill Market is an absolute gem in Little Italy!

Yelp
A hidden gem in Cleveland's Little Italy. Away from the main drag, and parking is still difficult as it usually is down there, Murray Hill Market is the typical corner deli and store taken up the 10th power. Best eggplant parmigiana around, excellent options for sandwiches, great customer service, and an opportunity to walk upstairs to a quiet table. Took my dad there on my birthday and an employee (maybe the owner?) took us upstairs for fresh cavatelli and bread. She opened up a bottle of wine, took care of us, and gave us free Pizzelles on the way out. The best place in Little Italy. Easily.

Yelp
What a cute place! Walking in, we didn't really know what to expect. It's a very small market and deli, but they have some unique offerings that you may not find in a regular grocery store. My husband and son both ordered sandwiches and were very happy with their selections. A turkey sandwich with cheese and a cranberry mayonnaise, which my husband enjoyed and then an Italian sandwich for my son. They both said the bread was the best part although everything was fresh and put together well. Worth a trip if you are in the area. I'm sure it's a favorite for the locals. We were visiting Case Western University and this place came recommended by a faculty member. You may not find it otherwise.

Yelp
We were in the area and looking for lunch but didn't want a full sit down Little Italy meal and found this place on Yelp. It's a little grocery and the sandwiches and salad was so freakin good. I had the eggplant Parm sandwich and my wife had the roasted turkey (roasted on site!) and they were both amazing. Starts with the crusty bread and the eggplant was sliced super thin and the rolled up with the perfect amount of sauce. We are in and they took great care of us, bringing the food to one of the little tables upstairs, including a huge chopped Italian salad with fresh cut meats and lots of veggies. This place is a gem!
google avatar

Trish T.

Yelp
Nestled in Little Italy, this gem provided a robust and delish ribeye sandwich, fit for a king. Delightful market with some legit selections.
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
Updating to five stars because I've tried probably 25 different items from here and I've never once had anything bad. The vast majority of their hot and cold items are actually fantastic- this is a serious gem in Little Italy. You must try the incredibly moist meatloaf and the juicy salmon!
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
-pricey but good, the granita is really good and can be purchased even on days Mount Granita is closed -mozzarella was only okay and not worth the price, could las for store bought
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy Italian subs and Italian drinks to go with. So good! The weather was even warm enough to eat outside.

Yelp
A pleasant surprise and a hidden gem I never knew existed. Was at UHHS and went on Yelp to find a place to check out before heading home. Murray Hill was a top recommendation and it's evident why. Part deli part convenience store but the deli is where it's at! Everything is homemade and they get their wonderful baguette from somewhere nearby. Sandwiches are not huge but who cares as the meats and cheeses and salads are all restaurant quality. Their salmon is insanely good and fresh whole salmon they bake in house skin on. It's cooked medium with slight pink, super juicy and the way I love it. You can get the salmon as a salad or on baguette. Yum! For the salad they make a tarragon and a balsamic dressing. I added Gorgonzola based on their recommendation and it was excellent. Had to get some tuna salad to go--so good! If you're in the area debating where to grab lunch amongst the many restaurants--put Murray Hill at the top of your list.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Just awesome! Italian Roast Beef is off the hook! And the chicken Parm. Maybe the best I ever had! Get there and enjoy a little of what I would refer to as the "Old Neighborhood " taste
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Effin perfect! Great little general store with yum food. We will be back to sit on the patio which I cannot figure out where they might be hiding. Really reminds me of an NYC upscale Italian general stet and deli. Think bodega with better everything! Go! Damn good looking staff too!
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, such a hidden gem in little Italy. The unassuming market near Rising Star may seem like just a market but the fresh food they make daily is so on the mark, I'm going to make it a goal to try most everything on the menu. Unpictured (roast beef sandwich) that literally melts in your mouth, and pictured the combo salad with your choice of 3 side salads. I don't know what it is in the salad (maybe really great olive oil?) but they feel flavorful without being too saucy. I'd be excited to try the porcetta sandwich or any of the other ones with an Asian twist. Serious must try in Cleveland!
google avatar

Cassidy K.

Yelp
Love this grocery story and quick restaurant! I got the best chicken parm sandwich here and my fiancé ordered the porchetta. They give you so much protein and large portions. I would definitely recommend going here for a quick bite. They have some nice outdoor seating! I would definitely recommend going here.

Michael J.

Yelp
I have not eaten everything on the menu, YET. But I already have some serious favorites. I've been eating the porchetta for a few years now so when I went to Italy over the summer I was excited to see how it was done in the motherland. Well, let me tell you, the Italians could take a lesson from Michele and Billy. Then there's the eggplant (parmesan). I thought I was sitting in my grandmother's kitchen. Next came the meatballs, fugghetaboudit!!! Please don't share this review with anyone, I hate standing in line!
google avatar

Debra V.

Yelp
Love this little comfort place. Ordered the BLT again. Delicious! Lots of veggie selections. Two tables are upstairs for seating and we chose one. Two smaller tables are by the window as you walk in. Summertime has tables on the sidewalk. Be sure to check out the beers and wines. Many come in individual bottle sizes to drink on the spot. We always buy goodies to take home, too.

Yelp
An amazing shop in little Italy! Everyone in there was incredibly friendly and made sure that my family and I were taken care of quickly - even though it was a busy Saturday! Not only did I love the food, but the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming - they even gave us a sample of the eggplant parm - which, of course, was delicious. I ended up getting the Italian Deluxe which was also very good. Everything was reasonably priced for the portion size and full of flavor! Before leaving I was given a menu and I plan on returning very soon!

Crystal C.

Yelp
So happy we stopped here for lunch! Murray Hill Market is half grocery store half deli and fully amazing. We tried the eggplant philly, bagel with lox, and Mediterranean veggie salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. Such great prices, too! We enjoyed our lunch a fresco at one of the tables on the sidewalk. I highly recommend Murray Hill Market for an off the beaten path place to grab a bite and enjoy the lovely little Italy neighborhood.

Jay D.

Yelp
This was an awesome little convenient store and deli. I just went and got the Chicken Parm sub and some delicious Mac&Cheese that they had goin on. The food and service were great! I'll definitely be back very soon to try the Deluxe Italian out.

Felicia A.

Yelp
Love this place, I come here every time I have a job in little Italy. The ready made food is amazing, and the sandwiches are hard to beat. Tried the Italian BLT with egg to make a breakfast sandwich and it was amazing!! They also have Snoogles...
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
Very good experience, I had Lox and bagel sandwich and a prime rib sandwich, both were delicious.

Kathi R.

Yelp
I ordered a meatball sub and a zucchini pancake from this little grocery store in Little Italy. Both were really good. The sub wasn't a huge size, but it was plenty. The meatballs were tasty and the sauce was yum (though there's never enough sauce for me!). They used provolone cheese, which in my opinion is more flavorful than mozzarella. The zucchini pancake was pretty good, too, and came with a small cup of sauce (yay!). I reheated it in a frying pan when I got home, which made it even better. The food I got was restaurant quality. Their other stuff looked good, too: chicken cutlets, eggplant parm, Italian subs.
google avatar

Marty K.

Yelp
Very good sandwiches! I got the Porchetta and it was great. Cool little old school market with a lot of local products to buy
google avatar

Ghazal A.

Yelp
i LOVE murray hill market! their porkchetta sandwhich is literally life changing. although their produce is very overpriced so don't plan on doing a whole grocery trip here. they have a nice selection of meat and cheese if you want to make a charcuterie board. it's also super cute in here and they have a few outdoor seats that's nice in the summer. staff is really friendly! Elise made my porkchetta and it was great
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
What an absolute delight this little market is. I'm sad this is my first time here. We decided to head to little Italy tonight because the weather was so perfect. Well, the entire evening was a disaster. Dinner was ruined by horrible service at the restaurant we wanted to dine at. Then we got a ticket. It was just a nightmare until we walked in here. The guy behind the counter was so polite. His personality was so warm and he was just thoughtful. He could see the pissed off look on my face so, he asked and I told him about our evening. He made us 2 delicious sandwiches. The Asian and the BLT. He also introduced me to the snoogles. He gifted us one because of the night we had. He really was an awesome guy. We ate and enjoyed the little market, we were also able to pick up a few things. I love small markets like this. I can't wait to return.

Yelp
Murray hill market is one of my go-to quick neighborhood lunch spots and also has a great grocery selection for all the little things you might ask a neighbor for! It really brings me back to my NYC bodega with the menu selection and the odds and ends inside, but definitely a a bit nicer! All the food is made to order, I love the open rib sandwich, porchetta, and meatball subs. They also have daily soups and a pretty solid salad rotation as well, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If I'm trying to organize a big picnic, they have everything you'd need inside - sandwiches, cheese/meats, and wine! They have some seating inside, as well as outside when it's nice out, so its the perfect spot for a quick bite or a to-go meal!

Monica W.

Yelp
I got the chicken parm and it was delicious! Such a wonderful place with very kind employees.

Hiphop P.

Yelp
So good! We ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and the porchetta sándwich--both were awesome! Also, the zucchini pancakes were so good too! Stop here. You won't regret it!

Yelp
My portobello mushroom sandwich was very tasty. Just wish the portion size was a little bigger.
