We loved this little hotel. It was inside the walls of the city and easy access to everything. We did arrive a bit early and our room was not ready, but they held our luggage and took it to the room when it was ready. They also met us at the bus stop and helped with our luggage and then walked us to the ferry as well. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was included and it had everything. Eggs ordered to your liking and then juices, fruits, yogurts and other goodies to go with it. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased. Great location of course and perfectly quiet at night. Powerful minisplit AC if needed. Extensive breakfast. As frequently mentioned the staff are so kind and helpful. Katja was fun and gave us a quick but thorough orientation to the town which was helpful. I'm very (overly?) picky about sleep quality and where I stay and I would gladly return here.

We stayed in Hotel Murum for 3 nights in September and can recommend it highly to anyone visiting Split. This boutique hotel is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and is centrally located. However, the USP of this hotel is its staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. We got a warm welcome from Adrianna who also provided us with information about Split and directions when needed. Katja and Karla always had a smile. A special mention for Neda in the kitchen who’s presentation of the cold breakfast was creative and her hot food (like pancakes and omelettes) was delicious! When we had to leave early one morning for a tour they insisted on preparing a lovely breakfast box for us, which was a nice touch! If you’re heading to Split, this hotel will exceed your expectations!

My partner and I stayed for four nights. The room was beautiful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. He has travelled extensively for work and said the breakfast was the best he has ever had! It was fabulous! Unfortunately I had an accident while we were in Split and broke my arm in 3 places. However the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, they called the ambulance and looked after me and we still managed to enjoy the rest of our holiday. Thank you all so, so much!! You made a very difficult situation far more bearable.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff were so kind and hospitable. Breakfast is lavish and delicious. It's quiet even though it's in Diocletian Palace. Rooms are so spacious and well designed. I very much appreciate the terrace. Totally relaxing. I'd go back to Split just to stay here. Before we got there, they texted me directly regarding meeting us at the bus station. I thought this was a wonderful, personable touch. Our bus was over an hour late (I do not recommend traveling from Split to Dubrovnik on a Sunday). Yet, he was still waiting for us in the heat. It's an easy walk but a little confusing and so I really appreciated this service.

This is a very small boutique hotel inside the walls of the Palace. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the room was lovely and comfortable m. The parking situation is a bit confusing. The hotel does provide directions to a parking lot that is allegedly for hotel guests. While we did find the lot, it was full and the road is a narrow alley that you basically have to back out of since it is a dead end. We parked at the train station which is close and not as claustrophobic.

A great experience from start to finish! We were coming from another country with a rental car, so we called the front desk to ask about parking. They sent us an address to the parking area and had staff meet us to help with the luggage and short walk to the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located in the historic center. It's beautifully renovated with very modern amenities, but they used the old walls to keep the authenticity and charm. Hence, the Latin word murum, meaning wall. All of the staff are incredibly professional and friendly. I've stayed in hotels around the world, but have never met anyone as thorough, responsive, and informative as Carla! Her initial brief of the city, including restaurant recommendations, was second to none! She arranged tours, scheduled dinners, and coordinated early breakfast for us. She was eager for feedback and genuinely cared how our stay was going. She definitely represents the hotel well! The room, including the bathroom, was very nice and comfortable with cold AC! The ratings don't lie on this place.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
