We didn't schedule the tour in advance, but we were welcomed to the Museco della salumeria like they were waiting for us. Wonderful tour with many things to learn, I learned that Pasta carbonara is not suppose to be made with poncetta. :) But has to be made with Guanciale. Highly recommend to take the tour.

We enjoyed a lot this small but interesting museum where you can learn about the processes of meat curation with professional and knowledgeable staff. Since there were not so many other visitors it felt like a private tour. Tasting at the end was accompanied with a glass of wine and was a definite highlight of the tour.

Very interesting visit. This is an exhibition and a tastings also (if you reserve a tour in advance). You also get complimentary glass of wine with a tasting. Be sure to book a tour in English, if you don't speak Italian.

The museum not only has a beautiful interior and a wonderful atmosphere, but the entire tour felt incredibly personal and welcoming. We were the only booking at the time, and even though they were preparing for a private event and the usual guide wasn't available, the PR manager went out of her way to give us a full private tour, complete with a tasting. This was incredibly thoughtful and made the experience even more special. The explanation of the charcuterie-making process was clear and fascinating, giving real insight into the craftsmanship involved. The tasting was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

The value for money can't be measured. Great, private tour, tasting and 10% discount in the shop. Interesting and well built. Would have wanted even more in-depth information as optional. Do book your visit though. We didn't but was super lucky.

It's a good tour with a lot of history. Everything is about Italian charcuterie, which is one of the best. At the end, you can have a tasting with wine included

The Tour was amazing! We did not book beforehand but they were very kind and gave us a tour. It lasted around 30min with a tasting at the end which was to die for! The young man who was our tour guide was super nice and helpful. He even accompanied us to the factory shop later to help us buy everything we wanted. Will definitely visit again when in Italy! 🙏

My husband and I did the english tour of this museum and absolutely loved it!! We already loved charcuterie but didn't know much about the history and the process. The tour guide did a fantastic job of telling us about not just the overall processes involved but also the specifical local information. And then the tastings were delicious!!! Getting to try some of the mortadella just after learning about it was fantastic. If you are curious about the process behind this delicious food I would highly highly recommend coming and seeing this place and getting a tour.
