On the Grid : Musashi

"Laid back setting and probably the best fresh sushi in Dublin, always made to order and totally focused on freshness, quality and taste. It’s fairly small so make sure to book in advance if you can, they also let you BYO and the service is super friendly. Honestly, make it your business to visit Musashi, great for take out too!" - Kooba

This restaurant, nestled near Tallaght Square, is a true standout. The setting is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful Japanese-inspired ambiance and a striking bar that immediately catches your eye. The menu is impressive, and the dishes are beautifully executed, showcasing both creativity and skill.

Had an amazing meal at Musashi! Tried the sushi, gyozas, teriyaki chicken wings, and beef ramen — everything was spot on and so tasty. The place looks great, super clean, and the staff were really friendly. Couldn’t fault a thing — can’t wait to go back! 🍣🍜👏

I found this place by accident while searching online. Their posted photos looked absolutely amazing, so I decided to give it a try. I am an Asian myself and a true lover of authentic Asian flavors. But the reality was a complete disappointment. I ordered noodle soup and another dish for takeaway, and I’m still extremely dissatisfied. The beautiful image in the photos felt like false advertising — the taste was terrible, and the soup tasted like. Soapy 🧼 water. The service was also strange: when I walked in, they asked if I was going to eat, and only after I said “yes” did they bring me the menu. The takeaway beef stir-fry I ordered already had a burnt smell coming through the packaging. I have yet to find out how the takeaway dish will taste, but judging from what I’ve already experienced, I have no confidence at all. If you value the authentic taste of Asian food and are willing to spend over €50 on a single meal, do not come here — they will ruin your taste experience completely. This was my first and will be my last time coming here. As for the food, it is no better than the generic Asian takeaways you can find on almost every corner in Dublin. The only positive is that the place has a pleasant atmosphere — and that is the sole reason I’m giving it one star.

Staff members are very welcoming 🙏 atmosphere is very ice you can listen a little music while you can chat with others. Food was very delicious 😋 everyone loved the taste and portions were perfect. Basically, we really love the Musashi restaurants! However, I believe this location is one of the best in many ways! Compared to the downtown restaurants, it has much larger and more comfortable seating for dining! The service here is also in the usual friendly tone; they pay attention to the children, providing separate cutlery, which is a nice gesture! The food is delicious and fresh! Anyone in the area must visit this location! I can only recommend it
