Over the years we have, as soon as we are in Treviso, been visiting this amazing place over and over again. Third time now. It doesn't look much from the outside, but they have consistently served exceptional good food and great service. I can warmly recommend a visit.

My friend from Treviso told me that every local person needs to come to this historic place at least once in their life. It has a home feeling, the people working there are extra friendly and helpful in suggesting their traditional food from Treviso.

However picturesque a place,or breathtaking views it offers,what matters most- even above food quality- is how kind and courteous you can be towards a client. I'm afraid the owner- not the service- is totally rude and unsociable .No need to say the words coming out of his mouth.. Just skip the place and go across the bridge!

Good salad with thin sliced meat and tuna sauce- amazing, also had Norma pasta was nice, and sun dried tomatoes with soft baked cheese with wine. Great location in the evenings. Very romantic and service is typical of Italian places- slower but that is normal as this is not fast food. Very popular each night tables are full up to closing at midnight. Kitchen closes at 22:00 so only wine and light snacks. The wait staff is working very hard. There is a bit of disorganization while waiting for a table. People wait around and grab tables as they become available. Perhaps a small sign that indicates you wait here with your wine while waiting for a table off to the side by the rail overlooking the canal?

Their choices of drinks are very limited. First you need to wait 20min before someone comes. And when they are there you need to call the waitress so she can take your order. If you don't speak Italian they don't care about you, a waitress was even rude. They don't speak English and don't even try to communicate. When you get the chance to order you can hear that there is no coke zero, no Negroni, and when you order a sprite you get a tonic which is not what we ordered. The only thing that is good is the location. Don't go there and go to other places

A great little place just beside the Fish Market with inside and outside seating. The landlady is very friendly, speaks English and a little german. We had lots of really god snacks and cheese and ham platters. The wines and Prosecco are excellent. Don't miss it if you are in Treviso.

If you don't speak fluent Italian they will avoid you at all costs and ignore you, the service is slow and they don't give what you ordered. As example I ordered a sprite and they give me a tonic, they dont have Cola zero and not even negroni. AVOID THIS PLACE ! the service is not good or even sucks. and the people are not kind and arrogant
