Absolutely shocking customer service.
I arrived after driving from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv during missile sirens, after having to pull over twice on the highway because of interceptions. I was exhausted, anxious, and shaken.
Despite the fact that all my information and credit card details were already in their system, the receptionist Alona refused to check me in because I couldn’t immediately locate my passport in my bag.
Instead of showing even basic compassion, she called her manager in Hebrew, assuming I didn’t understand, and complained about me, saying I was “מבלבלת לה במוח פה.”
Then the manager Ronit told me on the phone that if I couldn’t find my passport immediately I should look for another place to stay.
During a war!!!
The interaction was so rude and humiliating it literally brought me to tears!
Manager Dov eventually stepped in, apologized, and checked us in. But by that point I was already so shaken by the experience that two hours later I left the hotel and went to a different place.
I ended up leaving the hotel 2 hours after i checked in! I didn’t even ask for my money back. I just literally ran away from there, because after the way I was treated I felt I simply couldn’t count on the staff for anything if a real problem occurred.
Cute place.
Absolutely horrific service. Stay away!!!
