Musée d’Arts Africains, Océaniens et Amérindiens

Interesting collection, not huge but it’s free so worth visiting. You just have to ask for a ticket at the desk. The Mexican art was the most interesting to me - a vast collection of masks. However, the whole place is terribly signposted, it took me about 20 minutes to find what I was looking for as it’s really not clear where anything is and there is no map and hardly any signs! Plus the toilets were horrible.

Museum was for free for us. The buildings were nice. But the exposition not too big. Most info was just in French. They don’t have a garderobe of lockers to to store your belongings.

I was surprised at how amazing the exhibitions were! Incredible collections of masks and art work and the atmosphere really lends itself to engaging with the exhibits.

The main exposition is closed! Just some photos. It is not mentioned on their internet page! Nobody even told about it. Wasted money and time!

Extraordinaires collections ! Souvent des dons de particuliers, de collectionneurs passionnés. Excellente présentation agrémentée par des notices claires. Vaut le détour, voire même le voyage !

Exposition de très bonne qualité où j'ai pu en apprendre beaucoup plus sur l'Afrique. Le musée dispose aussi d'une superbe salle sur l'Egypte avec une véritable momie ! Personnel génial, notamment Hélène, d'un professionnalisme et d'une gentillesse remarquables ! Un grand merci pour ce magnifique moment, de la part de nous 4.

Bof bof ! C'est un belle endroit pour un shooting photo ou pour un évènement car jolie cours avec de belles allées mais le musée est pauvre. Beaucoup de statuettes , masques, objets qui à mon sens n'apporte rien. Gratuit le 1er dimanche du mois , il ne faut pas payer pour ca vraiment.
