Musée d’arts de Nantes

After a visit lasting over six hours, I fell in love with this museum. The building is extraordinarily large, and the works are all beautiful. I really enjoyed the Electric Op exhibition, and especially the opportunity to interact with certain works.

This museum was an unexpected delight. I’ve visited many museums in different cities and countries, but this was the first where I felt every item was presented in the best possible way, with lighting that showcased each piece perfectly. It’s also included in the Nantes Pass.

A nice few hours spent there without any tiresome from overwhelming art pieces. Just a quiet gallery that makes one feel cozy and get to enjoy the beautiful collection.

A museum about art throughout the ages. You see known and local known artists with various art styles. Each room have a specific age or theme so you go to a specific room as an option.

The collection is awesome. And I was expecting to be done quickly. It was huge. I’m not the number-one-fan of 15th and 16th century stuff but even I found awesome pieces that blew me away. The halls with the very large works are incredible…the sheer size ist breath-taking.

Expansive well appointed art museum with works by Delacroix, Maxence, Monet, richter, Kandinsky and more. Lovely building and lots of really lovely paintings to see

Really fantastic art museum with some beautiful works by artists I hadn’t been aware of. Worth a trip to Nantes.
