Musée de Montreux

Really cool museum with friendly staff. So much history was captured in this building. There is even a little interactive tram the kids can move forward and back. They also had a partnership with another space that was having a special Queen exhibit, with a large collection of Brian May's guitars and other band memorabilia you could view with a combo ticket. Would recommend for an hour or two in Montreux.

The kindest staff that I have ever met🫶🏻 A warm welcome when we entered the museum :) She told us a brief introduction before entering the museum👍🏻 We learnt a lot about the city! So much fun~ Recommended reserve at least 45 mins for the visit.

The most detailed and interesting museum I've encountered so far in Switzerland. Definitely worth visiting.

A nice little museum for history enthusiasts, especially those interested in the Montreux region. If you are interested in the city of Montreux and its surroundings, I recommend you visit. The exhibition labels are also in English, which is an advantage of this museum compared to others that are similar. However, I found it lacking in interactivity and rather outdated – it's more of a traditional museum than a contemporary one.

I recommend to visit the Montreux Museum to all who are interested in the History of Montreux. The museum is well done and covers a lot of interesting subjects that were important for the development of Montreux. Also there are great every day life items, tools and habits of the inhabitants to be seen.
