Lovely museum in Paris with a big collection of superstars from the Impressionism! I liked to visit this place, as it offers a high value but still is “under the radar” in terms of being rushed from other visitors! It’s the perfect Saturday morning experience as you have many nice artisan coffee places around!

Great museum with an excellent collection of Impressionist art and an exhibit dedicated to famous pieces by Claude Monet. The museum is also great for the art lover because, in comparison to other Paris museums, it is less crowded providing a better opportunity to admire the works displayed. They offer a good size gift shop and an outdoor cafe. Beautiful parks nearby to pause after your visit.

We had an amazing experience. No lines and easy to get a locker to store a backpack we brought. Information was in English and French which was very helpful. The swords were unexpected and so interesting, I looked at every single one, very neat to see Marvel Marceau's sword. The exhibits were lovely and you could tell they care about visitor experience, which had places to sit and view the paintings.

A very nice private museum with a great collection of Monet and Berthe Morisot paintings. They currently have an exposition on sleep and many paintings on the subject.

Such a lovely museum. Buying a ticket was a bit of an impulsive decision, but it was totally worth it in the end. I went during the Boudin exhibition and really loved it. I’m a big fan of the beach, so seeing so many sea scenes and mer portraits was amazing. The Musée Marmottan Monet is small but full of charm, and it wasn’t crowded at all, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere is perfect for taking your time and really enjoying the art. I couldn’t resist buying a postcard (too beautiful not to!) and a tote bag to remember the moment. Really glad I stopped by. If you like art, and a bit of history, this place is worth it.

I wasn’t prepared for how much I’d fall in love with this place. Everyone knows the big Monet rooms at Orsay and l’Orangerie, but the Marmottan is something else entirely – quiet, intimate, and absolutely packed with treasures. The moment you walk downstairs into the circular room filled floor-to-ceiling with late Water Lilies and weeping willows, it’s like the air changes. There are almost twenty huge canvases from Giverny that you’ve probably never seen reproduced anywhere, glowing in the soft natural light. I stood in the middle spinning slowly for a solid ten minutes with goosebumps – it’s that overwhelming in the best way. Upstairs, the collection of illuminated manuscripts is jaw-dropping (those colors are still so vivid after 700 years), and the Berthe Morisot rooms are an absolute revelation – her paintings feel so fresh and modern, I kept forgetting they’re from the 1870s-80s. The museum is never crowded like the tourist-heavy spots; we practically had entire rooms to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. The building itself is a gorgeous 19th-century mansion with parquet floors that creak in the most satisfying way, and the little garden out back is perfect for sitting with a sketchbook or just processing everything you’ve seen. If you love Impressionism (or just beauty in general), do yourself a favor and come here. It’s not just a museum – it feels like walking straight into Monet’s dreams. Already planning my next visit. ❤️🎨

I like this museum because it is much less crowded, so I can spend time observing the details of the paintings that I find interesting. There are lockers for your bags. You have to purchase a ticket first, and the staff will assign you a locker slot based on your bag size. This museum is a must-visit for art lovers, especially fans of Impressionism. Here houses the world's largest collection of works by Claude Monet, including his iconic Impression, Sunrise, which gave the Impressionist movement its name.

This museum has an eclectic collection. -Religious Flemish art and icons, -objects and furniture from Napoleon I empire - impressionist collection - biggest monet collection in the world. It’s usually calm and not crowded. Skip most of it, focus on Impressionism if it’s your first visit. It has a bar in the parc And they have a great app that allows you to choose the take pictures of the art, it gives you info, and you can later print. Booklet with your selection in 10 min at the gift shop. I found it super useful. Although it sometimes doesn’t work underground where Monet is hanged
