Strong collection of contemporary metal sculptures. Temporary exhibitions include all the posters from the Spoleto annual arts festival, a brilliant show by Kentridge and a pretty dull survey of 20th century Italian art movements.

Two things really stood out, evidence of early pre Christian and even pre Roman religion. Second was the amazing Roman amphitheater especially the tunnels under the seating.

Very old fashioned museum, but some interesting displays.

Beautiful and interesting museum. We really enjoyed the fantastic archaeological finds, displayed in beautiful, spacious rooms. The museum exudes an enormous serenity and tranquility. Compliments! Thank you for having us. However, if I may, I would like to mention a possible improvement point: the texts on your information boards next to the finds are way too long and as a result practically illegible. Please, keep it short, so that they would be attractive and accessible to everyone!

In a great condition! Labelled in English too. Clear pathway. Theatre restored to good condition. Children’s play corner. Recommended!

A small museum in the historic center of Spoleto, very much worth the visit. The Roman theatre is of course the highlight, but the 4 floors of exhibition space provide a wealth of information about the city's history, the theatre, burial rituals, and religion. Most signs are written in Italian & English. We read (almost) all of them, they were so interesting.

A small museum with a real Roman amphitheater. Only €4 to get in and worth the stop if you are in town. The whole town has all kinds of old Roman artifacts and the museum is a good addition to it. The only downside is that most of the information in the museum is in Italian only. Not many English visitors coming here.

Very thankful to see restoration continues!
