Intersting museum in centro near the Plaza de Armas featuring, among the indigenous and Colonial Era artifacts, the mural "The Struggle Against Terrorism" 1934-1935 by Philip Guston, Reuben Kadish, and Jules Langsner. It was created as a warning against the rising tide of racism and fascism prevalent in the thirties, which is rearing its ugly head once again in the present.

Small museum. There is a copy of the Dolores bell Hidalgo rang in the courtyard outside. Animated "wax puppet" of Morales giving a speech. Many oil paintings and portraits of Morales - some very recent. Free entry.

Beautiful museum. Interesting murals and very informative history. A must stop when visiting Morelia.

All the paintings need restoring, and it's difficult to read the cards alongside exposed objects since they are worn out.

Staff is very friendly, the architecture is amazing. There is definetly a lot of history here. It is very close to the cathedral and the centro historico. There is a nice garden on the side where there are two resident cats that are very sweet. Worth a visit! It wont take up much of your time but has a lot of history.
