The museum structure itself is interesting. There is a restaurant on top with amazing views.

This museum was surprisingly interesting. Gives a great background on the iron to steel process, and gives a great explanation of the history of Monterrey and Mexico in the process. There are also amazing views of the city if you take the elevators up to the smelting platforms. Highly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We took a tour at Museo del Acero Horno 3 and were incredibly impressed, especially by our tour guide, Saul Mata, a volunteer high school student. The tour lasted a couple of hours, and his knowledge of the exhibits and history was outstanding. He was kind, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude the entire time. Most teenagers I know would have been bored after 30 minutes, but Saul stayed engaged and passionate throughout. He truly made the experience memorable.

Informative and fun. You get to experience the city's heritage through the steel industry. Wonderful sights of the city from the top. If you get a chance to dine there, the restaurant is pretty good (El Lingote). Book i advance if possible. As it is within the Park (Fundidora) expect to park and walk.

What an incredibly rich history of the steel mill that was the early life blood of Monterrey. This museum has detailed, well documented displays describing the foundry and steel making factory. There are many interactive displays, suitable for all ages. Several presentations run throughout the day with videos and demonstrations of the different parts of the foundry and how the people worked. This is a highly educational and fun museum with plenty of activities. The ride up the coal shuttle to the top of the furnace gave a completely new perspective on the size and beauty of the park. If you are visiting Monterrey, this museum needs to be part of your trip. Plan on spending several hours seeing all it has to offer.

A must visit place! They transformed a giant furnace that used to melt steel into a blasting light show. Walking between the factory is amazing, and you can take a elevator cart that used to transport raw iron, to the very top of the furnace and it's an amazing view there to see the whole Monterrey. On the first floor there's museum and science labs for kids as well. This is one of my favorite place when I visited Monterrey!

This was the best place during my visit to Monterrey! Amazing history of Mine, Iron & Steel manufacturing with an interactive design. I've never seen such unique place in other parts of the world. It also offers a great view to the city from the top. Most definitely worth the time to explore this place!
