This place was awesome If you are interested in indigenous culture. The museum took about 40 minutes but once you leave you feel like you have a better window into the Wixarika. The art there is beautiful and also everything is written in English and Spanish. The seems was part of the church courtyard and you entered there. Loved this and would absolutely recommend.

This is an awesome little museum featuring Huichol Art, history, and customs. Explanations are in Spanish and English. The entrance fee is a mere 10 pesos. There is also an attached store with very good prices on a variety of art pieces. The museum is located to the right, near the restrooms, as you enter the Basilica grounds.

Informative, really inspiring museum. A great look into the Wixarika (Huichol) culture and an excellent shop. #wirikutanosevende

Enjoyable experience. I learned quite alot about the Huicholes. The posters are in English and Spanish. Very good atmosphere in the museum as well, and only 10 pesos entrance fee.

Very interesting museum has a lot of information about indigenous people and their culture. There's a gift shop as well It's only 10 pesos the entrance which is cheap , I only wish the museum was bigger because I found it to be very informative and it needs more areas to have it spread out since it can get be a bit too overwhelming and get overcrowded very quickly

Beautiful Huichol art in a small gallery. The exhibits have short descriptions, but lack a lot of necessary detail. Still worth visiting since it’s small and only 10 pesos for entry. Photography is not permitted.

Very nice and condensed history of the Huichol people, their legends and rituals, which are intertwined with their everyday life. Their account of the great flood is very interesting. Also the similarities with the creation with other mythology is intriguing.

There is a lot of information to be found here. And a lot of beautiful art. The Wixárika are an amazing tribe who managed to preserve their wisdom and their traditions through time.
