Museo de Burgos

A bit old fashioned but amazing museum with great collection in a beautiful building. I only missed the English text, but still enjoyable (I used Google translate). Spent there around 1.5 hrs, a bargain for a euro!

Interesting museum, but needs an update. There is no restaurant to sit or shop to buy a card. I was happy to rest on one of the chairs. Also everything is in Spanish, no english used. In these ways its oldfashioned. What was good: it was free on sunday, the paintingcollection is nice, the building is beautiful.

Very worth visiting museum showing local Burgos history, from roman times, middle age to recent modern ones across different levels. El cid sword "Tizona" is on display. Very worth the visit, very quiet and tidy place.

Such friendly and welcoming staff! Very knowledgeable! Amazing collection of artefacts that blows you away from the first metres inside into the Romanesque atrium! El Cid's Tizona sword is on ground level. A great display of historic coins dating back to the 11th century.

Fantastic museum with a vast array and eclectic collection spanning thousands of years of local history. Wonderful....

A very interesting museum, it has 5 floors of various art etc

The building may be the best thing about this museum. There's a bunch of mildly interesting stuff and what might be El Cid's sword. Only costs a euro to get in so worth a quick visit.

Nice Museum, the concept is very good and we can see evolution of way of life in this area.
