Museo del Café

Amazingly nice people! The coffee and the food are both delicious. It was so nice i went back three times. The museum is small, and only has description for the exhibit in Spanish, but it is very nice and quite interesting even for people who don't know much Spanish. I a bag of coffee from there and they were very nice to explain to me all the flavor profiles of the different coffees they have. I also wanted to get some unroasted green coffee beans, which they told me i could get Monday morning when they got their new delivery in (ordered on Saturday). On Saturday they told me a price which seemed very fair, but when i went there Monday morning to get it, they just gave it to me for free! Exceptionally nice people, highly recommended visiting.

I ordered chocoate con agua but it was too bitter and tasteless. So I asked if I can add milk, and they said yes. So I thought I changed to chocolate con leche. But it turned out they charged me 20 more 😅 I mean it is just $1, so it is not a problem at all but it could have been better if they explained me earlier!

Really enjoyed my breakfast, and price was excellent for the breakfast combo set. Very nice venue, lots of room. Museo is underwhelming but free/by donation so a nice feature.

This place has really good wifi, adequate for work or a 30 minute stable voip call. The ambiance is also really nice. It’s a large open space, very chill and relaxing. The food is also good, as are the staff. I came here multiple times during my visit to San Cristobal.

Best bang for buck for breakfast! Great coffee, bread and homemade jam with every order. The service is great too. It’s my go to almost every morning. Museum not very impressive. Go for breakfast!

The cafe is excellent and affordable. The eggs with chorizo were very good and the coffee was great. A big breakfast for two totaling 125 pesos in a nice courtyard.
