Museo del lupo Appenninico

The explanations seemed very informative but I couldn’t get much without being able to read Italian. You can also see the live wolves in a large penned in area around the corner. Nice to see conservation and education efforts about these animals.

Very nice and well organised museum. You may learn many information about the wolf and the park. Very interesting for the kids.

Open after 5pm (just back from your hike!). It contains very well-organised info on wolves, the relationship with local culture with them throughout history, their crucial role in the ecosystem, and much more. PERFECT FOR A VISIT WITH CHILDREN I used to bring primary school children to the National Park, and the Museum was always a highlight! They love it and it is child-friendly. As an adult, I found it entertaining and informative. A must-see.

A great place to learn about the Italian wolf. Displays are well done. Only €3 and we’ll worth a visit.

Devo dire una vera delusione. La mia bimba che è amante del Lupo è rimasta un po’ delusa. Anche io a dir la verità. Certo, per ristrutturazione il museo è stato trasferito in alcune sale del municipio, ma comunque sia ciò che si poteva vedere era decisamente poco. Non so come fosse quello originale o come sarà nel prossimo futuro, ma mi auguro decisamente meglio. Il lupo marsicano merita molto ma molto di più.

Il centro è in una sede. Provvisoria in attesa della ristrutturazione della vecchia sede. Nonostante sia piccolo è ben fatto e fornisce le informazioni fondamentali per una esperienza consapevole della natura del luogo.Piccolo e non fornitissimo il book shop che, potenziando, l'offerta, potrebbe essere un piccolo volano commericale. Per le famiglie è certamente una visita da non mancare.

Bell’esperienza formativa sulla storia, la vita e le abitudini di questo straorindario animale. Il centro potrebbe e dovrebbe essere rinnovato, con nuove strutture e pannelli anche più moderni, ma spiega in maniera semplice (adatto anche ai bambini) e abbatanza esaustiva il più del mondo del lupo. Ticket di ingresso per adulti euro 3, bambini euro 2, tempo di visita 1 ora circa max.

Area molto grande e recintata dove è possibile vedere un bramco di lupi a distanza senza recare troppo fastidio. Spesso si nascondo tra la vegetazione ma altre volte sono facilmente avvistabili. Bella esperienza, prima di arrivare c'è anche un museo dove imparare di più su questo splendido animale.
