Excellent Experience! You take a journey through the pre-Inca cultures, leading up to the Inca civilization. The experience is incredibly well-executed and immersive. Highly recommended!

What a museum !! My wife found it online and somehow we reached here at 3. Got tickets for 45 soles and once entered our mind was blown away. They have 9 different chambers each for one civilization talking about them and displaying their artifacts. And road connecting them from one to another. What was most amazing to me was that each chamber is divided into two parts. The second part is life size replica of one aspects of their life. Some of these were genuinely scary to even enter. And I think that is the best way to experience a museum. Would highly highly recommend this place to all the travelers.

Beautiful museum that’s great for people just learning about Peruvian history. 45 soles for foreigners.

Definitely worth it. Super interesting, cool lifestyle dioramas, compelling replicas.Takes about an hour if you’re reading everything. Visited New Year’s Eve day and they were open.

Too expensive. It is a private museum so there are no real artifacts, everything is a replica. It was all empty, I believe the guide with kick back setup brings their group here, no one comes on their own. On the bright side, it is well made.

Fantastic museum. Covers all the civilizations from Caral to Inka. Highly recommended. If you are looking for a didactic yet artsy museum

I thought this museum was simply the best in all of Peru. It gave the best breakdown of the prehistory times of Peruvian tribes that existed in the region. They had a great breakdown of each period m. Great wax statues as well.

So in depth, pretty large place! We absolutely loved the full-sized scenes they replicated. Beautiful.
