The Place Firenze Hotel Will Show You a New Side of Florence - AFAR

"Housed in a converted church and former tobacco factory, this contemporary art museum displays more than 170 bronze sculptures by Marino Marini within a Scandi-meets-industrial interior; it also contains a surprising historic jewel, a marble funerary chapel by Leon Battista Alberti, and the museum offers private, after-hours English-language visits for hotel guests." - Annie Fitzsimmons

Interesting display space in old church. A substantial exhibition devoted to Marini, but a bit steep at 10 euros. The repetition of a handful of themes suggests that Marini may have struggled for inspiration.

Such a stunning building, the architecture itself is part of the sculpture(and vice versa). As an act to help preserve it, go visit!

Was a very nice and unique museum, it has a nice collection of artwork, sculptures, sketches, statues and paintings. I really enjoyed my time here; the museum has a very nice layout and its open atmosphere is enjoyable. I would definitely recommend checking out this museum when visiting Florence.

This museum is very worth the visit, the space is quiet and beautifully designed, it's a good combination of elements: the location itself is transformed from a church to be aligned with Marini's work, the collections of sculptures and painting from Marini himself and the Ruecellai chapel which is an emulation of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalum. The museum staff is very helpful and enthusiastic about the history of the building and the chapel, which is always good to see!

Absolutely stunning exhibition of the Treasures of the Holy Sepulcher collection! All that gold and jewels to take your breath away!

Beautiful church converted to an incredible museum space. An adequate setting for the exceptional sculptures by Marino Marini. An absolut must for lovers of ‚adjusted‘ architecture and modern art. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Wonderful modern museum housed in the former Church of San Pancrazio (first mentioned in 931). The chapel is still available for viewing. Great open space with walk-around viewing of many works by the talented Marino Marini. A less popular museum, all the more enjoyable to take in the lovely curation without hordes of tourists.

Amazing museum, incredible pieces of art. The building/space itself is worth the visit. Incredible architecture.
